We spoke with several pool repair companies and when we met Dan we knew we'd found our pool professional! Dan was courteous and timely scheduling and coming out to assess our pool and heat pump. As first time pool owners, we had a lot of questions. Dan assessed and fixed a small air leak in one of our valves and took time to help us better understand the basics of our pool. Our heat pump needed a complete replacement. Pool-X-Perts was priced competitively and worked with us to integrate our pool automation system as well! It was a great experience, the heat pump went in without problem, and we couldn't be happier! Lastly, a short time after the heat pump was replaced, Dan followed up to make sure everything was still working well and we were satisfied with our install -- of course we were! If it wasn't obvious, we can't recommend Dan and Pool-X-Perts enough! If you need help with your pool, this is by far the right group to call!

We tried others before we called Dan and his family to care for our pool and jacuzzi and never looked back. Also Dan has a degree in chemistry so I think he knows what certain chemicals can do or not do to you. He not only helped us by keeping our pool clean, but also helped us with our pump and thermostat maintenance. Also offered us breaks on replacement parts because he deals direct with the manufacturers than going retail. He and his wife have just about become part of the family. They are also very pet friendly as well and when they leave they do not leave your pets trapped in a portion of the yard and also do not leave gates open. If they damage property they own up to it and notify you of the problem and offer to fix the issue, they even will leave you a rubber ducky when they come by to let you know they've been there. You would be a fool to go elsewhere.

Total was around $26,000.00. The pool refinished looks beautiful - used the Sun Stone Pearl Ice Pebble. My one and only comment is when we were shown the sample of the pool finish. This was a smoothed finish. Our pool finish is rough. My bathing suit gets caught in the pebbles a lot. No one mentioned the finished would be rough to us. Found out about this when we were able to get into our pool a couple of weeks ago. Please make sure this is the kind of finish you want for your pool. Have cut a toe and finger already on the pebbles. The pavers are beautiful. Then again we picked a smaller paver because of the price. These are harder to walk on. If you are older like we are - you should probably get bigger pavers to make it easier to walk. We still have a problem opening our French doors into the screened in area. Pavers needed to be cut thinner to fix this problem. We had our pool redone in winter when wood doesn't have much humidity to expand. The company who did this job was wonderful and did a good job and I would give them a four star. The company who did the rescreening of the pool cage was awful. Asking to clean the gutters around the pool area - this was extra plus they never cleaned them all the way. We have two plants growing out of these gutters (after 3 months)? It took the company almost two months to come back out and finish the job. The anchor screws needed to be replaced, not done at the time it was rescreened. The rubber around the screen area in the door still has screen hanging out. Never finished the job correctly by cutting the screening material around the door. Lost a down spout to one of our gutters - I was told by them this didn't happen. The rescreening company was a one star. All in all - Apollo Pools did a good job. Dominic is a star sales person. He was on every question or problem for me. Dominic learned a lot from our job - this took about 3 weeks to get done instead of one week. The owner worked with you also. The company would get a four and half stars but with the screening company - this is why I gave the whole project a three and half stars. Hope this helps everyone. For this amount of money you need to make sure everything runs smoothly.

This company is a joke, they do not communicate with you at all! You have to call them over and…read moreover again, they say they are coming but then a big no show. They still haven't returned to clean the pavers so now we have a nice white dust covering the pavers - yes I tried cleaning with a gas pressure washer - did not come off. So value in my opinion is not worth it!

They have gone so far above and beyond for me so many times it is hard to narrow done specific examples. My pool and equipment are old and I'm cheap- it's a terrible combination. I have been so very fortunate. Ludwig, Orlando and Kenneth have saved the day for me-with a smile-more than once! You can also be this fortunate give them a call quickly and set up scheduled service. You won't regret it.

Our previous technician was exceptional: professional, kind, and even brought treats and tennis balls for our dogs. We called the company more than once just to praise him. That's the kind of customer relationship that earns long-term loyalty. Unfortunately, the past few months marked a sharp decline. A recent fill-in technician was at our home for 21 minutes -- and our cameras showed she spent at least 5 of those sitting in her car. She left debris in the pool and a pool noodle blocking the drain. When we called to report it, we were told an area manager would follow up. He did call -- but the conversation felt combative from the start. He led with GPS data as though we were disputing the visit rather than the quality of it, made excuses for the drain issue, and left us feeling like we were the problem. That's not how you speak to a five-year customer raising a legitimate concern. This week our pool pump stopped working. We called POOL Troopers and were told there's a $150 diagnostic fee -- non-refundable, even if they perform the repair. My husband noted that had never been the policy in our experience and asked to speak with a supervisor. We were told the same area manager would call us back. We called another company instead. They offered a free estimate and came the same day. We're canceling our service. Not over one bad visit -- but because the response to that visit showed us that the company we trusted for five years no longer values the customers who stayed with them. That's a shame, because the people who made us loyal in the first place genuinely deserved better representation.

I had to call to complain a handful of times because the pool was green and they weren't sweeping the walls or steps which is what I pay for. On top of that, after it wasn't getting better after multiple complaints I took a look at the filter and it was swamp green. I called a handful of time after that to confirm they are supposed to clean the filter and they said yes every time. I called to cancel but I did pay through the month to have them come out but of course no one has showed up. ****UPDATE****** I spoke to Patrick and had such a nice conversation and assured me he would have the company make it right. They were prompt and Jose was so nice when he came out. He even fished a black snake out of the pool. He also apologized and gave me his card and told him to let him know if there were anymore issues. This company made it right and I can absolutely respect that.
