His staff is inefficient - on more than two occasions booked appointments on days the doctors weren't scheduled to be there. Jovan was very rude and condescending with no bedside manner. He prescribed me on meds (after I asked for any other alternative) and conveniently failed to mention the primary side effect was seizures. In an emergency situation I called him and asked to come to the office. He said yes. I got there, clearly emotional (crying), and he said he couldn't help and told me to leave - even though on the phone he said he would help and to come in. It was traumatic and thanks to him I've lost so much trust and faith in the medical system. He's clearly in it for the money, has zero interest in treating people, and has no respect for this community. He should feel shame. He should truly be ashamed of himself.

Finding a health center that doesn't charge an obscene amount of money to be seen is always a struggle. It was the closest, same-day appointment center I found on Yelp. They take several types of insurance, including mine which only charged a $10 copay. They even have their own app where you fill out your symptoms and payment information right there. Once I arrived, all I had to worry about was not coughing on the doctor! I got a prescription filled at the in-house pharmacy and was on my merry way about 30 minutes later. Not only does Donald Trump spread misinformation about ongoing health crisis, his platform and policies are directly dangerous to my well being. I'm a middle class white woman many generations removed from my immigrant ancestors. However, Donald Trump seeks to strip away my bodily autonomy. I was a patient for a little over two years. Dr. Xu was medically negligent many times. The first…read moretime was when I scheduled to receive my test results via a telehealth app. She provided me the results. The next time I visited was a few months later and she was re-reading my past results and told me I had gallstones. I asked her why didn't you tell me this information when I had the telehealth visit, she said she forgot to turn the page. The second time was when I was getting a checkup. She told me I was missing the last dose for a vaccine, I had only gotten two doses. The second vaccine I had taken was over a year ago. I told her that no one informed me that I needed a third vaccine otherwise I would have scheduled it. She said I was the one who needed to schedule the vaccine appointment. I was going to the doctor's office consistently so she failed to notice that I needed an additional vaccine for a year. She never apologized for her office's mistake or took any accountability. Her secretaries barely speak any English so it is hard to get anything done. For example, I was at a radiology office and Dr. Xu forgot to sign the referral order. Her office refuted that the referral was not signed. The intake person repeated what she said over three times. They eventually faxed over the referral but it was not signed. This incident wasted 30 minutes of my time because of Dr. Xu office's uncooperativeness. The last incident was that I asked her office for a letter with my medical conditions and treatments for work purposes. She told me that she has no responsibility to provide me any documentation. This is a clear violation of my hipaa rights.
