My instructor Daisy Sanchez was awesome. I learned a lot in both parenting and child abuse classes.

The class size was limited to a good number so as to keep things intimate. I really enjoyed the theme and hearing from the other moms. Between the mat setup with blankets, the exercise balls, the nursing pillows, and the basket full of toys, my daughter and I had everything we needed to have a great time! I also really loved the "goodbye song." I definitely be signing up for a package of classes. This group is unlike any other mommy group around (in a good way)!

SUCH A GREAT GROUP FOR NEW MOMS!!…read more Kazia and Robyn are like these knowledgeable, supportive, positive big sisters who may not know all the answers, but know the book you should read or the expert you should see or they've had the same experience of they have a friend who went through the same thing... -- in short, they're great. They were this weekly calming force in what was otherwise a kind of chaotic "omg what do I do with this baby!!!" year of my life. And as if that wasn't enough, they make different gourmet snacks paired with wine for every class. Uh, yeah. You read that correctly. The group of women was fantastic. It was a great way to meet other westside moms and get your baby some interaction with other babies. I made friends and my baby made friends, how can you beat that? I owe some of my closest "mom friends" to this group. In summary, my one-year-old and I give this group a collective four thumbs up :)

Both classes were led by Barbara and Corgi, who were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and relatable. From the moment we walked in, they made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. What I appreciated most was how interactive the classes were. They encouraged lots of questions and really engaged with the group, which made the experience feel personal rather than overwhelming. They struck the perfect balance of being informative while keeping things fun and lighthearted. So much information can be stressful but the way it was presented was easy to digest. I loved doing it with my partner and think it was such a great way to get him more involved in this process that can lean so heavily on the mom. Beyond just the classes, The Pump Station offers so much! Mommy and Me, classes for Grandparents, Car Seat Installation, Stroller consultation. They also have a great gift store and registry program! I will absolutely be signing up for Mommy & Me classes and love supporting a small business who put so much love and care into what they do.

Really disappointed in my experience today. I drove two hours to this location to support a local…read morebusiness. For one, I was not greeted or asked if I needed help when entering the store. More importantly, their website said the stroller I wanted was in stock and available in 4 hours for pickup, but when I got there it wasn't available for purchase and it had to be ordered. When I brought it up to the cashier, he said it was because they have it in store their inventory but not at the store? Huh?? After doing more digging I saw there was a "Terms and conditions" asterisk in fine print you have to click on to find out this information. All I saw was the green check mark that says "In stock and ready for pick up in 4 hours." Any other place I have ever been to- this would mean it would be in stock at the store. When I brought up, calmly, that this was confusing and they should fix it because I drove two hours to get to the store. The cashier said nothing. Not a "Aw geez, I'm sorry. I can understand your frustration and why that's confusing." I'm a reasonable person. I've worked in customer service all my life. The demeanor of the cashier alone has put me off from ever visiting this store again or recommending it. We went to Uppababy a few blocks down and they were SOOO kind that it completely made my day. All I needed was some kindness. To the owners of the Pump Station- the people using your website are most likely VERY tired moms. I personally am getting 3-4 hours of sleep a day. Tired moms need clear signage if something is in stock or not. Time is precious in this season of life. We also need KINDNESS. My body is broken and recovering from giving birth. I am exhausted! I would expect a place who sells baby items to understand this. Overall, would never recommend this place and will tell everyone I know that it was an awful experience.

My husband and I took several classes at Village Birth leading up the birth of our baby, and I found my amazing lactation consultant, Hideko, after taking a very informative breastfeeding class with Yvonne. Hideko was an invaluable resource to me after the baby was born and continued to be for many months afterward. There was no way I would be able to breastfeed as long as I have if it weren't for her. Separately, I worked with prenatal chiropractor Dr. Jenny Stofer as well, who is also part of the Village Birth group now. I had experienced quite a bit of discomfort in my back during my pregnancy and she always made me feel at ease, listened to my concerns, and took care of any issues I had quickly and gently. I always left my sessions with her feeling energized, supported and like my baby had more room in there! It was incredible. Village Birth is made up of such a thoughtful, supportive and kind group of individuals who are talented and passionate about their work. If you're nearby and having a baby, it is the best place for top notch care and information!

Always a fun mix of women who go there, and I know the business can't control who signs up for classes but I wish more POC women and couples went. My first circle it was very intimidating being the only POC there.
