One of the better food trucks I've had. Steak salad with a fried egg on top was banging!

Amazing Lomito sandwich! This is one of the better food trucks I've been to. I ate my food too quickly to take a picture.

To be honest I'm not sure if the protein matters since there is so much happening in the bowls. You can tell everything is fresh, maybe the exception are fries are already cooked and not to order. Doesn't bother me since they still had good texture. Cool atmosphere and felt very inviting. Didn't try the green sauce but the red sauce is very mild. I much prefer this to other bowl spots and it's pretty convenient to get to. We'd want to try to cafe as well.

It was my first time at cafehive and I was impressed by the large selection of drinks and desserts on the menu. On this visit, I only tried their coffee, but I will definitely come back to try their desserts. I love the concept of the build your own desserts with the unlimited toppings! As for drinks- Tiramisu latte is the most popular and banana bread latte is one of the new ones and was recommended to me to try by the cashier. If you are deciding between the two, the tiramisu has the stronger coffee taste whereas the banana bread is sweet with a slight banana flavor. The only thing I will say is while the menu is beautiful the drinks don't really come out looking like how I expected based on what I have seen on Instagram with all the foam and toppings.. maybe an off day but the tiramisu latte I thought had mascarpone cold foam for example.

Most of this operation appears to be take-out. We placed a pickup order online and it was waiting for us by the time we showed up. We ordered two small chicken bowls and one "feast mode". The "feast mode" size was actually challenging for three people to finish! The "hive sauce" tastes like a honey mustard with maybe mayo? It's pretty good. I really wish Flavor Hive would have additional toppings - just cucumber tomato onion cilantro etc are quite minimal. Would be awesome if they could add something like beet salad or beans! The value at this place is excellent compared to the numerous other rice / slop bowl places in the area. It is a lot of food. In particular their build your own walking tacos where you bring a bag of chips and they fill it with a cup oife of protein and toppings starting at $12. I usually keep it simple -- ground beef, white sauce, cheese, cilantro with Doritos as the base. Smacks every single time. Though I had their loaded fries once and they were tasty as well. With so many locations across the DC Metro area there's plenty of location options to go to if one is more convenient than the other.

The menu is not your typical hot dog stand as you can get burgers, cheesesteaks, and a variety of sides and other items. Depending on when you stop by, there could be a line and the food is made fresh, so the wait might be longer than expected. However, the food is really good. I plan to stop by again soon to try other menu items.

We ordered two burgers -- the classic smash burger (lettuce, tomato, mayo, and cheese) and the BBQ bacon burger (grilled onions, bacon, and BBQ sauce) -- along with their famous cheesesteak combo. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I can't recommend this place enough -- especially knowing they're part of our local community. I've walked past this gem so many times without realizing what I was missing! It's tucked away in the Home Depot parking lot on Little River Turnpike, so don't sleep on it. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the entire menu.

It's located in a strip shopping center, so parking is super easy and accessible, and the restaurant itself is very easy to find. Walking in, the space is extremely clean, well-lit, and nicely decorated. Now let's talk about the real highlight: the variety. They have dinner plates, bowl options, and à la carte items. I went with one of my favorites, the lechon. They were out of the roasted version, but the staff recommended the fried pork instead, and it did not disappoint. I came in around 7:30, and they close at 8, so I was trying to be mindful and not hold them up. But the woman at the counter was incredibly kind and told me not to rush at all--"you're already inside, take your time." That level of hospitality really stood out. She even took the time to walk me through the menu, which I appreciated, even though I'm already familiar with Filipino food. The food itself? Amazing. The lechon was perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The portion size was generous, and it came with two Lumpia that were hot, fresh, and delicious. It also included a soda, which made it feel like a complete, satisfying meal. Overall, this place is a 10/10. Great food, great portions, and even better customer service. I'd highly recommend stopping by.

The women working here were kind and helpful. You order at the counter in the back, and they will bring your food to your table. Menu options abound, but the only menu was the display screen above and in back of the counter. Unfortunately, the display screen is hard to see and there are no descriptions with the pictures/items. Mang Eton really needs to provide some printed menus. While the online menu does contain descriptions, the online descriptions don't necessarily match what is available. Anyways.... For a starter, we ordered the siomai. These were plump and tasty. We wish they would give more of the excellent dipping sauce than the tiny thimble of sauce that they do give you. Note: the combo meals also include a couple pieces of siomai. I ordered the Combo #1, which came with a piece of fried chicken, 2 lumpia, shrimp chips, rice and pancit. The lumpia had an excellent flavor. The fried chicken and pancit were okay. JP ordered the Combo #3. The only difference between the Combo #1 and Combo #3 is that the Combo $3 comes with fish instead of chicken. It also comes with a skewer of meat (pork?), which was good. We were the only non-Filipino customers. I plan on coming back to try the halo-halo dessert and to order some more yummy siomai.

They can be found on the parking lot where Joongmi is. We were on our way to another eatery, and we saw that there was a long line - we knew we had to stop by to check them out! Their menu is pretty straightforward - they have Chicken Shawarma and the Afghan Burger, and various juices (Banana, Special Mix, and Carrot). On our initial visit, the line moved extremely slowly, especially since there were some patrons who kept requesting various condiments/salt, who were holding up the line. In addition, there were some patrons who had placed an order earlier who was cutting in line to pick their food up as well. We wanted to try their Chicken Shawarma, but it was sold out! Note to self: get there early! On the next visit, we were able to get there early enough for a later lunch, and was able to order: +the Chicken Shawarma - a thin wrap filled with chicken shawarma, garlic sauce, olives, pickles, tomatoes, and onions; we opted out of the lettuce; the chicken was very well-marinated and flavorful, but this was not served hot; this was, at most, at room temperature, which wasn't really pleasant; also, the wrap could have been rolled a bit more tightly, as all the ingredients just continued to fall out +the Afghan Burger - a thin wrap filled with a sausage, fries, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions; we opted out of the lettuce; this was pretty decent, but the hand-cut fries were not hot or fresh; again, this wrap, as the Chicken Shawarma, was not served hot and was at room temperature; the wrap could have been rolled a bit more tightly, as all the ingredients and toppings were loose and fell out continuously +the Banana Juice - was similar to a thinned out smoothie; definitely not your typical sweet smoothie; this tasted fresh and doesn't seem to contain any sweeteners or sugar; I thought that this was just okay, but could have been prepared cold; this was, like the other food items, lukewarm The later crowd seems to get made-to-order items, as there's usually a line, and food has to be be kept up; however, our lunch experience seems to have the food already pre-cooked/pre-made, making it not fresh Staff were kind and friendly. Plenty of parking in the large lot. +room temperature food during off-peak times +shawarma runs out quick! +kind staff +plenty of parking +located at the Joongmi lot

The Chicken itself in the shawarma was a bit dry, but the combination of sauce, seasoning, and the afghan bread was really tasty, note that there is ALOT of black pepper. The Afghan burger itself was alright, the volume of food for the price you pay is pretty good, finding food in NoVA for sub $15 that will fill you up is always nice to see. There were fries, boiled eggs, and a sausage, along with a lot of black pepper once again, not sure if there was supposed to be a sauce but that might've helped the burger be a bit more tasty/less dry. Overall it's a pretty good option if you're passing by the food truck and want a quick bite, or are in the mood for shawarma/Afghan burgers in general! The food took a bit to prep, but service was really friendly.
