I attended the December 2025 virtual class with John D, it was an 8 half days training session and was so informative, intense and helpful. John was a wonderful instructor, with a lot of stuff to offer. The sessions were quite intensive and I had to really make effort to be able to follow and absorb all the knowledge. Because schedule conflict, I had to take the exam a few months after the training (which I wouldn't recommend if possible), so I went through all the videos on the resource website, took the mock exam multiple times, starting from fail (even less than 60% correct ) and gradually increased to above 90% correct. I passed the exam the first time. I have to say the exam was not easy (mentally and physically), glad I had the training and reviewed the materials, that's critical for my success. read more

The instructor, Mike Martin, had great energy teaching the class and was awesome at keeping us all engaged during the duration of the class. Had a good flow of the course material for us to learn and utilize in our current jobs too. Would definitely recommend. read more

If you want to get your PMP in the most efficient way possible, take this course. I took the 4 day bootcamp with Scott Fass and passed the test on my first try. Some of the most valuable aspects of this program are: - the insights about the test and anecdotes the instructor shares to reinforce course themes. - the study sheets you're provided make learning the processes and outputs much easier. Way better than flipping through the PMBOK! - the PMA portal with practice tests and quizzes. It provides insights on where to focus your study time. In addition, I recommend downloading Pocket Prep so you can do practice problems on your phone. Paying subscription is worth it! read more

The PMP Exam Prep course with Instructor Scott Fass gave me the knowledge, tools and techniques to be able to pass the PMP Exam. Instructor is great at explaining complex or confusing concept's in a way that provides clarity. He wasted no time and gave us his full attention from the first hour to the last. Scott led us through the sometimes counterintuitive terminology of PMI. His teaching gave me confidence that I could make it if I applied myself and studied. I Passed on the first try! Big value for your buck with this course. read more

I attended the 2-5 Mar 26 session in Washington RC. Allen Young was an excellent instructor. He has pure mastery of this material and he delivers it in an entertaining way. He added additional material to the standard presentation to emphasize difficult subjects. The venue is suitable. The classroom can be pretty cold, so bring warm clothes. Front desk validates parking. read more

I just finished my Project Management bootcamp and boy was it a lot of information. But the instructor John Connolly help our class ingest the information with stories, reminders, and exercises to help us understand and hopefully retain the information for test time. The bootcamp was 4 long days filled with information from 8:30am until 6:00pm but the cadence of the information taught to us, the scheduled breaks, and John's ability to keep us engaged made each day go by fast. If you decide to sit for the PMP certification, take the bootcamp through the Project Management Academy and request John Connolly as the instructor. You will learn, you'll laugh, you'll connect the dots in project management, and he'll help you focus on understanding project management the Project Management Institute's (PMI) way. I'm planning to set for the certification exam in February, I'll keep each of you posted. #HappyTesting read more

I was in the April 2025 virtual class with John D. The PMA's material and John's support set myself and the class up for success. John did a great job of laying the foundation to pass the PMP through his terminology explanations and providing real world experiences. I successfully passed the PMP on the first try! Thank you again John and PMA. read more

I attended the two weekend bootcamp in the Washington, DC area in December 2025. I had an excellent experience, made even better by our instructor, Allen Young. The materials prepared by PMA are high quality, the instruction was thorough and made better by Allen's many anecdotes and analogies to ensure comprehension of the material. We even discussed study and test strategies in great detail. While my studying and testing journey is just beginning, I feel that Allen Young and PMA have given me a solid foundation that is invaluable. read more

I took the online PMP Prep Course from Project Management Academy in April of 2025. Our instructor Hans V. Meijer was great! The course material was very fast paced. However, Hans was great with pacing and his insights on the test were very helpful. Just a great course and highly recommended. read more

Taking the PMP course with Heidi was extremely informative. This has been a great formal education to bolster my years of learning-by-doing experience to set me up to succeed in both future project management and for passing the PMI certification test. Thank you Heidi! read more

It'd been 7 years since I first read the PMBOK: I never actually took the exam because I didn't have the requisite experience for the application yet. I found the Academy's seamless end-to-end experience and distillation of the subject matter into clear and concise guides and references refreshing. Fortunate to have had Heidi Skelton-Riley as my instructor this week as well: she's a consummate professional and we all appreciated not only her depth/breadth of overlapping knowledge [she holds ACP, LSS MBB, PMP, and SPHR credentials] complemented by decades of experience, but also her passion for the discipline. Really enjoyed the course! read more

I highly recommend PMA to anyone seriously interested in taking the PMP in the future. A lot of great content and organized. My instructor Trevor Noad was professional, helpful, and made the training memorable. He set the tone early with great intro emails and post day training emails as well. His lectures were informative, and personally, I liked his real life stories and analogies... helped me remember concepts. He knows his stuff. Great experience!! read more

I took the PMA 4 day bootcamp which was funded by my company. They provide a lot of information in those 4 days, and while it was basically PowerPoint slides, the structure of the information presented was very effective and logically sequenced. The supplementary materials provided were very helpful too. Scott Fass was an excellent instructor who shared a lot of meaningful, real world experiences from his long and illustrious career. His instruction approach which emphasized practical application greatly enhanced my understanding of the material. I am happy to say that I passed my PMP on the first try thanks to this course. I am knocking off a star due to PMA's online platform and some of the mock and practice test content. While I am aware that the PMP test is continuously changing, I would regularly get questions on my practice exams that were repeats within the same test. There are also some questions that seem to be outdated - I asked for clarification on a question during office hours, and the instructor said that it was actually irrelevant and we wouldn't need to know it for the actual exam. I found it very helpful when questions had explanations to the answers revealed after submitting your response, but it was frustrating that not all questions ended up having this feature. I believe PMA could do a better job on keeping their practice and mock exam content up to date. Additionally, I find that the platform they chose to use is not the most intuitive or user friendly and could use an update. The real strength of PMA is the amazing instructors they hire. Not only was Scott great, but the other instructors I got to interact with during office hours were phenomenal as well. They are the primary reason that I believe going with PMA is worth it, whether it's the in-person bootcamp or an online course. read more

I took the PMP boot camp in November, 2023. I was able to take the exam within 2 weeks of completing the course and passed on the first attempt. My instructor was Bill Holmes and he did an amazing job getting us ready for the exam. Bill was able to make all four days of training engaging and provided us with excellent training. Some people are natural teachers and Bill is one of them. In addition, he shares experiences throughout his career to help drive home different concepts. It is a tough exam and I did have to study for around 20-25 hours in addition to taking the course. However, Bill set the appropriate expectations for what it takes to pass the exam. I highly recommended him as an instructor and will personally request him as an instructor for any future training courses. Excellent experience! read more

I took a PMP Bootcamp in March. Allen Young was an outstanding PMP instructor. He explained the concepts clearly, kept the class engaged, and made the PMBOK much easier to understand. I felt more confident and well-prepared for the exam. Highly recommend. I relied a lot on Project Management Academy's online resources specifically the practice test. Passed the exam in April. read more

I took an in-person PMP Bootcamp with Allen Young in Arlington in November 2024 and passed my exam the following week. I had purchased an online self-paced Udemy course prior to taking the bootcamp and had been studying for a few weeks, but I wasn't getting passing scores on the mock exams I was taking so I decided to go to the bootcamp. I was nervous about taking the exam the week after, hence the bootcamp was a good way to see where my knowledge gaps were and identify which areas I needed to study more on. Here are my thoughts on the bootcamp class: - Allen was a fantastic instructor. He weaved in his personal experiences and was extremely thorough in describing the material which helped me a ton in remembering a lot of the information. It's clear he knows the material extremely well and is able to break down the content in a way that is digestible. - The bootcamp class is a 4-day crash course that crams in A LOT of information. It's like drinking water from a fire hydrant so while I didn't mean to be exposed to the material prior to the bootcamp via my Udemy course, I'm so glad I did it that way and would recommend studying for the exam this way if you are able to. There is so much material to cover in the 4 days and I feel like it would be impossible to remember everything afterwards, but the bootcamp reinforced the material I already knew and helped me ask pointed questions during the class on areas I was still confused on. - You will not see EVERYTHING that you learn from the bootcamp on the exam, but the point of the bootcamp is to expose you to everything because it MAY show up on the exam in the question itself or as an answer choice. - PMA gives you a student portal afterwards where you can continue to study after the bootcamp is finished. This portal had quizzes, mock exams, and descriptions on each question so you can understand why you got the answer wrong. I found this portal to be extremely helpful and used it to study leading up to the exam. I will say that it is not user friendly and clunky to use, but the content is helpful. - PMA provides weekly office hours with a live instructor to answer any questions or areas you're struggling with. They also provide an email you can reach out to and an instructor will respond to your questions. I utilized both these options available to me and I found it helpful (e.g. I emailed one of the quiz questions to the instructor asking for more clarification). - PMA gave us 1-2 pager quick study guides and those were FANTASTIC. So helpful to have the most important info to know all in one area. I took those with me everywhere and when I had a spare moment, I would study with those on the go. One thing I noticed is PMA seemed to have placed emphasis on the formulas and making sure you memorized them, but on the PMP exam, I didn't have to do ANY math at all. I know the questions are randomized for each student so maybe I just got lucky, but I spent a good amount of time memorizing the formulas and was surprised I never used them. I did need to know things like what CPI and SPI over 1 meant, etc. but no actual math was done. Overall, I would recommend PMA as a crash course bootcamp for the PMP. The instructor was fantastic, the student portal is extremely helpful, and the fact that you can still connect with an instructor after the bootcamp course is valuable. read more

I took PMP boot camp in 2020 and ACP boot camp in May 2023 from Project Management Academy. I passed both exams on the first try and scored about target on all categories. I am very happy with their instructors, their course materials and the simulation tests they offer. I highly recommend their pmp and acp courses. regarding ACP course, the instructor: Bill Holmes is an excellent teacher. He did not just read the course materials. He explained the underlining meanings to help us remember the materials better. He gave us tips on how to increase our chance of selecting the correct answers. He is encouraging, caring, and patiently explained concepts when students asked questions. Also, i am glad i followed his advice to study very hard and read the exam questions carefully. The ACP exam is so much harder than the pmp!!! (and luckily i had Bill as my instructor :-)) p.s. One minor complaint i have is that for online courses, pma does not provide printed copies! When i took their in person pmp, they gave us hard copies. for the amount of money we spent, i really think pma could spare some change and make hard copies available for students who requested it. Bill Holmes was so nice that he contacted pma for us. unfortunately, pma still did not agree to offer hard copies. read more

I took the boot camp with Heidi Skelton-Riley and it was better than I expected! I knew the content was heavy and the terminology would be a lot to take it, but Heidi did an awesome job leading us through the content. She supported all our ideas, gave us lots of freedom to share our stories and experience, and instilled confidence in me. I HIGHLY recommend this course and Heidi. read more

Heidi S-R was my instructor for PMP training this last week. Talking to other collogues who have taken this course in person, I had low expectations. I am happy to report that Heidi facilitated the online training really well. She was able to answer questions on the spot, even when students asked random questions or wanted clarification on terms. She was well prepared every day, delivering the content in a clear manor. She also had questions for us, which from asking around is not the norm. If I choose to do any more training through Educate360, I will be requesting classes in which she is teaching. read more

I took the PMP live online course in early January with Chris E. as an instructor. Chris was a great instructor--very informative and was happy to go back and explain things again if I had trouble understanding them. He also worked with us over email to answer additional questions and provide tips on studying for the exam and our PMP applications. PMA provided a lot of material both during the live course and for self-study materials ahead of the exam. I passed the exam on the first try after 2 months of studying using their materials. They also had lots of practice questions and exams available. Some of PMA's study materials seemed a little out of date and they did not have some of the question types included in the exam and that were mentioned in study materials (like multiple choice questions with multiple answers and word-banks), but all the content material was included. read more

I attended the PMP 4-day course with instructor Heidi Skelton-Riley. She was a phenomenal instructor that truly cares about making sure the attendees understand the material. Project Management Academy is one of PMI's authorized training partners and *having also taken courses with other training vendors from PMI's authorized list* I can confidently tell you that PMA definitely has superior instructors, training materials, and online resources to help students pass the exam. I took the in-person course with instructor, Scott Fass, at the end of July and - with a few additional weeks of **dedicated** studying - passed the PMP on the first try at the end of August. A few highlights: - Scott, the course instructor, has been in the project management business a long time and was able to use his experience to paint clear examples of industry concepts we were learning about. He also had a lot of knowledge about PMI as an institution, and how the exam has evolved over time. I appreciated being able to learn the history of the organization that I was trying to earn a certification from. - PMA has class/study resources that cater to a variety of different learning styles. In addition to live instruction and a full hardcopy bundle of course materials, PMA offers its own online learning portal with practice exams, quizzes, flash cards, and a video recording of *every. single. module. covered in class*. I found this to be especially useful during studying because I could watch a video as many times as I needed in order to learn the material. This meant that even after the in-person class ended, I was able to continue learning on my own time and at my own pace. - PMA's Money-back guarantee. I honestly didn't know this about PMA when I signed up, but if you take a PMA class *and complete the follow up study exams/tasks as directed* you can be eligible for a refund if you fail the exam. READ THE FINE PRINT FOR YOURSELF REGARDING REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY, but rest assured that PMA isn't just out to take your money. ((Quite frankly, if you actually pay attention during class and diligently study afterward, you really shouldn't fail the exam at all!)) On the topic of costs, my one recommendation to anyone interested in the PMA class is to see if your employer offers any sort of education reimbursement or professional development funding (make sure you read the fine print on that too, haha). PMA is great, but it's not cheap...and while you DO get the full value of what you spend, I'm sure that having an employer help offset the costs could help out a lot. All in all, PMA was a total game changer. I'm glad I was able to use this course to invest in myself and level-up my career with a new PMP certification. Thank you Scott & PMA! read more

Mark Francesco was a great instructor! He taught the class at a good pace (always checked in on how things were going) and was able to keep me engaged even though this class was after a full work day (I took the 3-7:30PM PT course over the course of 2 weeks)! I just finished the PMA PMP Exam Prep class last week with Kandi Hall who was a very engaging, experienced, and patient instructor! I'm so glad I took this course with her and am thankful for her openness for us to ask her questions in the future if needed. It seemed daunting both in duration and material but she made the time pass quickly, helped our class bond, and brought in great examples to make the materials fun and memorable! I'd definitely recommend doing the course in person because discussion and stories are easier to share in a collocates environment and believe it can help me remember things during the test. I also appreciate the Strategy Guide that is provided. Wish I read it before taking the Mock Exam because I fell into some of the traps that the Strategy Guide warns you about. I was looking for a PMP prep course that would prepare me for the test in a short amount of time. One of colleagues suggested PMA and I immediately signed up for the two-weekend boot camp course on March 9, 10, 16 & 17. I studied the materials on March 23 and 24 and passed the PMP exam on March 25! What a great and exhilarating experience. Felt like riding a roller coaster and you know what I love roller coasters! I am very pleased with the course. Money well spent! Here are some of the things I loved about the course: 1- The instructor, Mr. Scott Fass, a very experienced PM himself was a great instructor. He shared many good examples with the class, gave the class lots of opportunities to express their ideas and experiences. He handled the class very professionally and with outmost respect. Not only did I learned Project Management from him, I also learned a lot about emotional intelligence by just observing how he interacted with the class. Great guy! 2- The materials were fantastic. I only studied the materials handed to us and barely opened my PMBOK! Very well organized and very helpful. 3- Study STRATEGY- For me it is always about strategy. I work smart not hard! The strategy Scott shared with us was pretty FANTASTIC and worked for me. 4- Lunch was awesome! Yes, they had continental breakfast, lunch and snack! The lunch was great especially on the 17th floor of the hotel and the beautiful view and the company of my great classmates. Overall, it was a great and rewarding experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Good luck on your PMP exam! read more

I passed my PMP exam on my first try! I highly recommend Project Management Academy (PMA) based on my recent experience. The instructor, Scott Fass, did a tremendous job. I will absolutely go back to PMA if I do another certification course in the future. A few additional thoughts: 1. The Mock Exam - I took a mock exam on the PMA website prior to attending the bootcamp. I did poorly on my mock exam which made clear to me I was a long way from being ready for the real exam. 2. The Course - The course is 4 LONG days covering a TON of material. They cover everything you need to pass the exam. It's important to get a good night's sleep because these are long days with a tremendous amount of material being thrown at you. You need to be sharp and keep your focus throughout. 3. The Instructor - My instructor for the course was Scott Fass. Scott has many years of experience in project management and has an effective teaching style. He often uses anecdotes from his personal experience to help drive home concepts. This was helpful for me as I was able to think back to some of his stories while answering questions on the exam. I would also say I believe Scott cares about his students and wants to see them do well. 4. Post-Course - I spent three weeks after the course studying on my own. There is a lot of material so it was important to me that I make a good faith effort to review as much as possible to the best of my ability. I learned a lot by taking practice exams and spending extra time reviewing the questions I got wrong. I took a practice exam each week and it was encouraging to see my score go up each time. 5. Project Management Academy - The PMA website has a lot of resources; probably more than you can realistically get through in 3-4 weeks of self study. The most valuable part to me was the practice tests and quizzes. The more questions you answer the more prepared you'll be for the real test. Stick to PMA's plan. Don't cheat yourself in terms of study time/effort. If I can pass the test, so can you. Good luck! read more
