I am currently a senior looking to apply to colleges. I was very scared going into the summer with…read moreSAT scores I was not happy with. I was able to meet with Ms. Dalby through a referral from my very kind college coach. I spent one month with Ms. Dalby preparing for my SAT and I could not be more grateful. Through our daily sessions, I learned the mistakes I was making and saw the improvements in the routine practice tests we were taking. We took a practice test every other day and then spent the next day going over the problems we missed or questions we did not understand. Ms. Dalby went through each question thoroughly and even went over our time if required. I was able to learn different strategies from Ms. Dalby as well as the other students in the class if they had another way. Ms. Dalby makes sure to prepare us through our in class sessions as well as through her printouts that offers helpful advice from everything grammar related to math must-know sheets. She also makes herself available to the students through phone and email if any questions arise outside of class. Through my summer session, I could tell she is deeply invested in truly helping the students achieve their best potential and is very accommodating to the students needs. I would highly recommend getting in touch with Inspiring Test Prep and attending if you are looking for a Test Prep service.

After attending both the 2016 summer SAT program and the extended winter SAT program, I can firmly…read moresay that Elite Prep truly does help students to grow beyond their known limits. I have personally improved my SAT score and SAT Mathematics II test score by over 250 points: A feat that I could only accomplish through Elite Prep's instructors and curriculum. After attending other SAT prep academies, I found that many tend to cram hundreds of SAT vocabulary words and assign a ridiculous number of pages to students. By the end of these programs, students, including myself, cannot remember a single piece of valuable information. Elite Prep, on the other hand, thoroughly goes over each and every page of its books and assigns an appropriate number of vocab words, making sure that every single student understands concepts and solutions to complicated problems. I found that Elite Prep also tends to be fairly strict in preserving an atmosphere of comfortable and kind learning: an atmosphere where students speak up to learn from mistakes rather than staying quiet for the fear of embarrassment (an environment found in many other SAT prep academies). Overall, I would definitely recommend Elite Prep for anyone looking for that just right SAT prep class. p.s. There happens to be a deli right underneath Elite Prep where students can buy lunches or small snacks. This works well for students who don't happen to have packed lunches.

It is a great place for all students to gain a real advantage for the SAT. During my time there…read moreover the summer, I realized that the program was very organized and had a clear plan to allow us to achieve our SAT goals. However, it is not a magical system. In order to truly improve the SAT score, it takes dedication. Honestly if you just stick with the plan throughly, your score will improve by a lot even though it may be challenging. The teachers there are very helpful and they will challenge you to always do your best. I also enrolled in their College Admissions Counseling, and I truly believe it was the reason I could successfully apply to all my colleges diligently and accurately. The advice and assistance given is crucial for not only writing essays, but submission timing, interviews, and pretty much anything that correlated with applying to college. They will help you throughout the entire process and it really is a great program so you should take advantage of it.

This score was a massive 300-point improvement from my PSAT that I took the year before. Initially, Jen's class helped me to familiarize myself and solve the different types of reading, grammar, and math questions, giving me the initial bump to the 1450 range on a practice test. Then, she taught me to be more vigilant regarding the more deceptive questions, ultimately allowing me to get consistent scores in the mid to high 1500s on the College Board practice SATs. Throughout the process, Jen was very accommodating and answered all of my and my parent's questions about the DSAT. I highly recommend this class to students at all levels looking to improve their scores and can't thank Jen enough for my improvement.

We have used this service for the last two and half years and cannot tell you how much we have benefited from the support of the coaches that have worked with our son. His confidence has improved with his writing, learning how to organize his thoughts better when tackling history and English Language Arts assignments. He's doing more than just the bare minimum, including more descriptive language and details. He's proactively creating outlines while reading to set himself up for success when trying to remember details later for questions or discussions. He's gotten better at self-advocacy, reaching out to teachers via email, when he's unsure of how to tackle an assignment or something isn't working correctly vs. just ignoring the issue. All things he wouldn't dream of doing on his own two years ago. Added bonus is that it has taken some of the pressure off of us, his parents, and the stress it was causing us when "nagging" him about his homework and missing assignments. Just wish we would have started sooner!!
