I first went to Bee You for a Yelp Elite Event and tried one of their energy teas. They are sugar free teas that come in a TON of flavors that you can mix and match. There's 3 base flavors, then about 20 different add on flavors you can mix in. The tea was delicious and I loved that it was sugar free. They also had peanut butter protein balls for the event, which were also tasty. I went back a couple weeks later with my wife and we both tried another flavor of tea and both were also great. Employees are friendly, there's usually plenty of free on street parking in the village, prices are fair, and drinks are also pretty big. I keep wanting to try coffee or juice, but the teas are just so good I keep going back for more. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Brenda's cafe has some genuinely delightful selections. I always order Broasters coffee of course,…read morebut then I must choose from several delicious offerings and daily specials. Far and away my favorite of her offerings is her Caprese sandwich made with fresh tomato and basil and cheese served on Heidelberg bread with a touch of balsamic vinegar which adds just enough zip to make it completely addictive. I could eat it all day! Sadly this is normally only offered in the warmer months as the fresh basil comes fresh picked from her own plants. I can also highly recommend her grilled cheese, again on Heidelberg bread.... warm, cheesy, and delicous. True comfort food. She specializes in vegan and vegetarian fare too, happily accommodating the special dietary needs of her clientele. Very smart! The cafe area is an eclectic mix of cushy and comfortable tables and chairs. Terrific for sitting and reading a book. On the down side, there is no Wi-Fi and the cafe hours are limited. If you have a data plan, the lack of Wi-Fi isn't a huge issue, but I think it would do better with that one small change. It would be the perfect place to sit quietly with my laptop and do homework or write articles. So trust me when I say, check it out! And this summer, try that Caprese sandwich -- you won't be sorry!

Brenda's coordinates with the festival's organizers and allows pre-orders before the festival starts, but my husband and I usually go there spontaneously, and we're served pretty quickly despite the crowd created by other attendees. The sandwiches, soups, and salads are freshly made. Sometimes they grill burgers and hot dogs during the fest. They, also, sell a variety of drinks, snacks, and desserts. They now have kombucha on tap in addition to selling bottled varieties, but I usually choose an old fashioned, sugar cane soda in a glass bottle. Even though proximity factors into our decision to eat here, we're always satisfied with the food and the friendly service. As a bonus for Brenda's, I've ended up buying other supplies that I've run out of or forgot to pack. They have a great range of quality vitamins and supplements as well as natural body care products. They make it easy to spend money here!

Everything is well priced, nothing excessively priced. I was very excited to find this store. They have bulk dry ingredients, one of them being organic barley which I cannot buy at the corporate grocery in my town. They do have an extensive supplement section. Healthier choices for snack foods, some toiletries, and an incredibly large section of chocolates at the register. The owners are super friendly and greet everybody as they enter. Since my first shopping experience, I've been back several times even though it is about a 30 minute drive for me one way. I highly recommend this small business, especially if you were looking for organic and all natural foods.

The family who runs the store is so nice; just the shopping experience and friendly small talk make Cooperstown Natural Foods worth visiting. Beyond being friendly, they were willing to stock my favorite soymilk when I asked about it -- something other small stores have been hesitant to do. The store has everything from local salad greens to imported chocolates. The prices are the same as the big-box store down the street, making supporting this local business a no-brainer.
