Great staff, nutritious and delicious food, yummy shakes. I came here to pick up some meals, they have "lifestyle" and "athlete" meals. Athlete meals are larger portions, ranging from 600-800 calories, where lifestyle meals are fewer -- I think 400-600 calories? They have meals in the fridge and ready to eat and also frozen ones. Weekly meal plans are available starting at 12 meals. They have seasonal menus so you can get a variety of foods. The containers are recyclable, and oven safe up to 250 degrees and they have a card with heating and spices/sauces best practices to make your meals the best. In addition to meals that you can pick up, they offer several fuel shakes, energy bites and more. Outside of meals, PLN has the inbody scanner to track more than your weight, but body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, and basal metabolic rate. The results print out and the staff can go over what each item means. It comes in handy as a way to track progress. read more

I went to project lean to get an in body scan. I also got a shake while I was there! The shake was delicious, but the service wasn't great. The girl at the counter just seemed so uninterested in being there! I felt weird asking her questions. Besides that, they have some great meal plan deals. I look forward to checking those out, and maybe grabbing one of those delicious shakes. read more

So glad Project Lean Nation landed their brick and mortar location in South End! Because it was in my 'hood' I decided to try them out. I'm on week 2 (so two boxes) of their lifestyle plan and it's going really well. They have a variety of meal plans to choose from, but their base is a 12 meal and they accommodate food preferences, allergies, and special diets. If you doing subscribe, you can also just walk in the store and pick up a grab-and-go meal if you are in a pinch. All the meals have the nutrient macros on easy to read labels that seal the plastic containers (microwaveable) so it's super convenient for someone on the move, with little time to meal prep and trying to eat clean. I pick up my box on Fridays but you can come get yours throughout the weekend since the store has a lot of hours. If you have a crazy hospital shift, the store closes at 7, but Jeremy was telling me about a couple nurses that come by after their shift to pick up (after 7). Nice to have/see small business in Charlotte. Walk in, ask questions... they are available to provide a great service to the community. Their walk in freezer is pretty impressive and it's crazy to think that they started out of someone's house, just cooking meals and making boxes. There are shakes available and a nutritionist at your disposal for a consultation so that you have all the tools necessary to reach your goals... whatever they may be. The staff are super friendly and professional. As I was signing up, people were coming into hang out and catch up.... they knew everyone by name and the place just has a happy, healthy vibe to it. read more

I've been doing their meal plan subscription service for about a month now and have began to see results! I'm on the athlete plan to bulk up and gain some mass which means a meal for me would range from 600-800 calories. If you're a first timer, I highly recommend you try every meal as there are definitely some that are better than others! Oh they also make delicious shakes too! My favorites are the PB&Jacked with P2 and the Clockwork Orange. The store manager, Morgan, is super friendly and very upbeat! He'll be able to assist you with any of your needs there! read more

I was referred by a coworker as I make doughnuts for a living and yes gained doughnut weight!! The service is great their follow is attentive the food is good quality. The shop was clean and had smoothies and you can earn a free smoothie with purchasing. I purchased five meals and so far liked all that I tasted. My only issue is they use a lot of broccoli which I DO NOT LIKE! Lol but the rest was good and I did find a lot without broccoli for my taste. Well priced and purchasing options along with a delivery service membership. the body scan was interesting and scary at the same time BUT we all need the truth and they gave it and are helping me eat better. The PLN community is awesome. I love coming here to get my protein shakes and my high fives from the staff!! They have five dollar shakes on Fridays and also offer Grab N Go Meals or have weekly meal plans. I Do the 12 meals bi-weekly and it has saved my life!!! Healthy, good quality ingredients. They also will help you with nutrition planning and will test your BMI. I have yet to do this but I plan on doing it!! $5 Smoothie Friday is my fave!!! My friends and I love to stop by for the PB and Jacked smoothie. I've also tried the PB Cup and there is a Mochaccino one too... the PB and Jacked is by far the best. As far as their meal plans go... I didn't love the few meals I tried. You pick them up frozen and they are good for about five days once defrosted. I'm hoping the two I tried were an anomaly because the location is so convenient that I would love to be able to pick up meals there. We ordered a PB & Jacked. It was the worst smoothie I have ever had. It felt like there was some artificial sweetener. This was definitely not a clean smoothie. I couldn't even drink half of it. Also, my car got towed because the store closed at 7:00pm, me and my friend were just outside the store chatting. My car was getting towed at 7:20pm. You need to warn your customers about it. read more

Love all of the staff here - they are beyond friendly and kind and know how to uplift you. The meals are pretty great for the price and for the amount of food -- I do count macros so it's helpful and a breeze for me to be able to walk in and know what I'm getting. I LOVE PLN!!! I have been getting meals basically since they opened. It is super convenient and way better than spending my Sunday meal prepping! The meals are healthy and get this.... they are REALLY GOOD! If you count macros, PLN has got you! All the meals come with the macros conveniently listed in the lid. They are always looking at ways to improve their menus as well and definitely knocked it out of the park with the latest additions! I work out of Town and my coworkers are always commenting on hOw good my lunch smells and inquire about my meals. They wish there was a PLN near them! The protein shakes are AMAZING and if you're a MADperks member you get a shakes for a discount! The STAFF members are ALL super friendly and always welcoming (even when it's busy)! Love them all!
