Big Project - Turned out GREAT My exterior walls and block fence were in really rough shape, and the exposed wood above all of the windows was rotted out in many places. Ken and his team came in and worked tirelessly for days scrapping walls, removing the wood, and stuccoing to make it all uniform. You can't even tell there was ever wood above the windows. Ken Muhammad stopped by my house this past Sunday out of the blue and offered to give me a quote to paint my house. He was eager to assign his team to paint my house the following day. I was initially skeptical but gained confidence in him as I listened to him describe how his team would repair the stucco cracks and add a waterproofing compound to the top of the line Dunn Edwards paint. I then added having him paint both sides of my backyard block wall, which is extensive. His quote was very reasonable. Bottom line is that his teams, led by Kevin and Larry, did an outstanding job. All exterior art work was taken down, all windows and doors covered in plastic, and stucco cracks were meticulously repaired. The parapets on my roof were quite damaged and they went above and beyond to repair the damaged areas instead of just painting over these spots. They were able to do the complete house and wall painting in 2 days and then came back the morning of the third day to put everything back and rehang the outside artwork. My house looks brand new again. I would not hesitate to hire Ken and his Progressive Painting crew again and highly recommend them to other people needing to have their house painted. read more

My husband and I just had Progressive Painting repaint the entire outside of our stuccoed house. This included painting and fixing all of the stucco, painting all the wood trim, 2 outside doors, and our entire perimeter stuccoed fence. They did a great job. Ken, Kevin, Larry and an amazingly large crew painted the exterior of our house, the wall surrounding our property and repaired and resurfaced our roof. Their prep work was very detailed and protected all the areas in and around the house from getting damaged (including landscaping). They did a lot of stucco repairs and protective coating before beginning the painting. One thing that really impressed us was the pride they take in their work. They really cared about the end result and worked hard to make sure we would be happy with it too. Before leaving, they made sure they put back anything they had moved to the correct location. Ken Muhammad of Progressive Painting knocked on our door last week and said he was painting three houses in our development and wanted to know if we needed our house painted. We checked the company's contracting license and their BBB rating and decided to go for it. They brought in large crew the next day to prep the exterior of the house and were back the following day to paint it. Afterwards, we found a few hairline cracks they had missed and they returned within two days and fixed everything. The crew never left a mess, and having the house done in such a short amount of time was really nice. We highly recommend them for exterior painting jobs. read more

From 0700 these guys were like a bunch of ants descending on my house. No efforts were wasted, they went right to work like they have done it 1 million times before; motion economy. I could not be happier with how my house turned out. They repaired bad places on my stucco I didn't even know I had. Our experience was both frustrating and unpleasant. We definitely would never recommend their service. They said they would send 7/8 workers to start job on the 8th or 9th of February, 2018. They sent only two men on the 9th. He said he would send full/large team on the 10th to finish the job. They sent no one at all. The job was finished on the 12th and he said he would send a worker on the 13th to fix a few issues. Company sent no one at all. Did not receive communication/phone calls to explain the situations on the 8th, 9th, 10th or the 13th. Had to track him down. Very unpleasant experience. We had a terrific experience with Progressive Painting. Ken (owner) was very kind and helpful with our selection of products - as a professional he is very current with what is available and made several suggestions to us, which we greatly appreciated. Clint, the foreman of our project, was prompt, very nice, and all of his crew were professional and knew exactly what needed to be done, they worked hard, and they did a great job! It was obvious they have worked together before - they worked as a team and everyone knew what to do and when. They took the time to make repairs to stucco prior to painting. Ken noticed our roof badly needed re-coating (which we knew, but we were not aware that this company also does re-coating - we were having trouble getting our "regular" roofer out to even evaluate the job ("too busy")). Ken offered to do this job in addition to painting while they were here, and we are extremely happy with the silicone coating they applied! We were thankful he offered to take care of this. I hired Progressive Painting to repair a crack in the ceiling of my dining room/living room, and then paint the entire ceiling after the crack had been patched. Their work was substandard and they had to come back three times before the job was acceptable. In the process, they damaged the canopy of my chandelier. They said the would pay for the repair, but they have not done so. The owner, Ken, continues to lie to me about being reimbursed. He said he would come by to pay me. He did not. He said the check was in the mail. It was not. The repair was completed in October, 2017. This is March, 2018 and I have not yet been reimbursed. On our last phone contact, he was rude, intimidating, and belligerent. read more

I'm not one to post reviews regularly, although I felt compelled after having my house painted from Progressive. From the moment that the engagement started, the sales rep (Billy) was extremely courteous and went above and my expectations to provided a highly competitive quote within minutes. He also explained that the company could start the house preparations and being the job within same week. Within a day, Progressive was onsite prepping the house for the job. Billy came back onsite to assist with the color selection and talk me through the house painting process. Overall, Progressive completed the job within two days with no issues with overspray, no issues with missing any spots and all repairs that needed to be made were done without issue. To comment on the crew, every single person who was involved was highly courteous and checked in with me along each step to make sure that I was happy with their progress. As they came close to completion, they asked me to do a walk-through with them to make sure that the work was to my satisfaction. Not only did Progressive do a highly professional job but their customer service was beyond any company which I received an estimate from. And their customer service continued throughout the entire engagement, which for me, is the most important part of doing business with a company. Guy knocked on my door to give me a quote to paint my house. Came back 3 times a little better each time. So I finally gave the go ahead to paint my house. First problem was after a price was agreed upon he up sold me $300 dollars for better paint on my metal railing. For such a small railing I thought that was a bit high. SO I called Dunn Edwards to see what the difference in the price of paint was, it was the same price as the regular paint! This is not the part that made me write this review. They told me anything they break will be fixed by them. I have a mexican tile roof and they broke dozens of tiles and never said a word packed up and took off. Now I have aleast $1000 in damage trying to save a few dollars on paint. read more

Would not use this company again. They completed the job quickly however they took loads of micro management. You had to be constantly looking over their shoulder to make sure they did not miss things. My husband was up on the roof no less than ten times making sure they did the job they were supposed to do. They did not check on the job once they were completed and my husband keep having to call them back to show them what they had missed. Progressive Paint just completed painting my house and wow did they do an incredible job. The complete job went better than I could of ever expected. Billy who came and gave me a very competitive quote was very professional, courteous and explained the complete process. The most amazing thing was they did not want a penny until the job was complete and I was satisfied. The team of painters arrived on time and worked until the job was finished. The team painted a house over 4,000 feet in one day and left my house exactly as it was by putting everything back in its proper spots. There is not much else I can add to the previous reviews for this group with Ken Muhammad at the helm was outstanding. They came in one morning with a projected finish the next day and did it all in one day!! His team ( probably a crew of 10 maybe) is amazing, courteous, and knows attention to detail. They had everything covered and taped within a short period of time, sealed and then painted. They cleaned up and one would never know our home was painted with the attention to detail of work and clean-up!! WOW is all I can say. A couple of things we asked about were addressed on the spot with the understanding that if anything should surface, call him so he can make it right. What a company and work ethic and am glad he decided to stop in and ask about painting our home which was way overdue.
