They kept in constant contact with me throughout the process. They were even able to get my MacBook Pro back to me earlier than expected. Their staff was courteous and professional. After a considerable drive to drop phone off was told sorry no batteries in stock for this model and then tried to blame it on shipping etc totally ignoring the fact that a staff member had supposedly put one aside. I received a call later in the week telling me that the necessary repair was going to cost more than I originally paid for the laptop, and decided not to proceed. I was then informed of a $100 assessment fee. When I contested this the staff member said that he would check some things and get back to me. He never did. Today I went to pick up my non-functioning computer and to speak with a manager. During the course of our conversation he constantly interrupted me, talked down to me, and refused to answer when I asked why he thought this was acceptable customer service. He also came across very much as though he was trying to intimidate me. When I stood my ground he changed from telling me that I must have misunderstood/the staff member must have misspoken to telling me that she had never said anything that could be interpreted as me being able to expect not to be charged and that I was lying. Additionally, he told me that having to wait to speak with him was my own fault when I expressed dissatisfaction at how long it had taken. I'm very unimpressed with the lack of consistency and professionalism.

However, the manager on my recent visit was extremely helpful and knew exactly what I needed to do to solve a wifi problem, didn't force me to buy anything and even gave me a bag for the part I had carried into the store. They offer a complete range and have pretty much everything on display and encourage you to try things out before making a purchase. That doesn't sound like much to ask when some kit is VERY expensive but other stores keep the good stuff behind glass which makes it tricky to commit to a purchase. This store has a crazy cool amount of options to choose from for the young and hip kid. I loved that there was a different style and colour for every pencil case, folder, writing book, journal, and money safe. It did make trying to decide on a design quite hard at first, but with help from the really friendly and chatty sales assistant, I was on my way with a bag of Smiggle gear for the kids in less than 15 minutes. Smiggle has everything the kid would need for school. For example bags, wallets, lunch boxes, drink bottles, funky slap bands to swap with friends, writing tools. It's completely endless, and mind boggling what they have come up with, it's like they have entered the child's mind and asked- what would you want? Always a fun time shopping here, I get to be a kid for a bit.

It's a photographer's dreamland. It's great for the amateur photographer too as they have a wide range of cheap cameras to the very, very high end of the scale for the more professional people. The staff are super helpful and know so much about cameras. It's a great place to go if you're looking for a camera but don't know where to start. They'll help you figure out exactly what you need and the kinds of cameras you should be looking at. I'd definitely pop in there if you're into photography, or even if you aren't it might inspire you to start having a go at it.
