Arrived early as directed by the Logan health automated system. I sat in waiting room for nearly an hour before finally asking the receptionist what the deal was ... she informed me that dr Perser was running 45 minutes late. Why wouldn't you let her patients know, I wonder. Anyway, I guess this review doesn't matter because, my options for care --. thanks to the Logan health monopoly -- indicate that I can suffer with pain or suck it up and deal with with crap medical care. While the girls upfront were nice the two doctors I saw were awful. First they sent me to a back specialist when I needed a hip specialist. Dr. Rizzilo was him name and he is something else! He ordered tests, then refused to release the results to me even though I needed to see a specialist, not him. So I had to wait 3 weeks to go back in to get my results. He refused to answer any of my questions! ZERO! Doctor Rizzilo referred me to Dr. Makmann the "hip specialist" well I'm not sure he's in the right business. I asked him my questions and he said "I don't know" to most of them! And for the record these were simple questions, like I had pointed to the MRI and asked what something was around my hip joint, his response, no joke, " I don't know". Well sir aren't YOU supposed to be a "specialist"? Hmmmm. Anyhow I got a referral to a different surgeon! Would suggest you do the same!

Everything is scheduled weeks out, but I guess that's par for the course anymore! Now, the procedure team is excellent I must say. The nurses are very thorough and the preparations efficient. However, Dr. Kneeland resembles a hummingbird, flitting from flower to flower. He boasts about how simple the procedure is and how many he's done, so there's nothing to worry about. And, it's true. The procedures go very smoothly and efficiently. But you kind of get the feeling that your just a cow getting branded, with how many procedures he's doing every day. After several days and the return of the pain questionnaire, you expect a follow-up call, that never comes! So, you try to get a hold of someone to schedule it, and you have to leave a message for a scheduler to call you. But then, you've heard that story already. All I can say is, I'm still in pain, (Lumbar stenosis at the L4/5, S1) after 2 procedures. And I wish you luck. Hopefully your experience will be better!
