I went in for urgent care (broken foot) the lobby was packed. The heat was cranked and it's a small room with no windows and I'm claustrophobic so I lasted all of five minutes. They told us it was going to be three hours before they could get to the next person and there were at least 20 people in that room! I walked out. read more

This place doesn't deserve a star at all! Perhaps maybe just for cleanliness of the main office. Horrible! What a crappy expierence. While the girls upfront were nice the two doctors I saw were awful. First they sent me to a back specialist when I needed a hip specialist. Dr. Rizzilo was him name and he is something else! He ordered tests, then refused to release the results to me even though I needed to see a specialist, not him. So I had to wait 3 weeks to go back in to get my results. He refused to answer any of my questions! ZERO! Doctor Rizzilo referred me to Dr. Makmann the "hip specialist" well I'm not sure he's in the right business. I asked him my questions and he said "I don't know" to most of them! And for the record these were simple questions, like I had pointed to the MRI and asked what something was around my hip joint, his response, no joke, " I don't know". Well sir aren't YOU supposed to be a "specialist"? Hmmmm. Anyhow I got a referral to a different surgeon! Would suggest you do the same! read more

The office staff was very friendly, and that's where the good times end. First, I obviously had at least one of my metatarsals broken and was in a lot of pain. I told them this over the phone and they said to come in in person. Fantastic!. When I got there 15 minutes later, they informed that since it was my foot, I would have to make an appointment with Dr. Ericcson and how would a week and a half later do?..... What?!!!!! Not very well at all. The soonest they could get me in was 5 days later. When I got there, again very nice office staff, but I was shuffled around before I even had a chance to fill out my name on their new medical forms. This would have been okay, except they kept wanting to look and/or x-ray the wrong foot. Then, after the x-rays, I met Dr. Ericcson for about 180 seconds. He asked to hold my foot. He looked at the x-ray and said my second metatarsal was broken. At this point he squeezed my second metatarsal with both hands, I almost passed out from the intense screaming pain. He asked how my pain level was. I told him about a 3 or 4 in the morning, but by the evening, it was at least a nine. (And I am not a wimp). He asked me what I was doing for it and I said I iced it at night. He said that was good, and that he would definitely need to see me in about a month and then left the room. I didn't realize he wasn't coming back and that was the extent of his 'expertise'. A nurse/assistant lady yelled from outside: "What size shoe are you?". A minute later she came in with a boot. A big ugly clunky removable boot. She showed me how to put it on, told me I couldn't drive with it, and left the room. I sat there for another 5 minutes waiting for the doctor to come back. Surely, there would be further instructions? Maybe a prescription for Ibuprofen? Perhaps even letting me know that was the extent of my treatment and information?... I had to awkwardly exit the room holding clunky boot in hand and walk to the front office staff, the only people who actually seemed to care, and ask them what I was supposed to do at that point. "Oh you're done." I was in such a confused state, I almost just left. Then I looked down and realized I hadn't finished any of my paperwork. This probably contributed to why they kept wanting to x-ray the wrong foot. And I guess if the doctor doesn't prescribe anything, then he doesn't have to worry about allergies or possibly being pregnant. No need for any medical history in this facility. So, in shock, I finished the paperwork, and gave it to the office staff. I stood there for a while, thinking that something more should be said or done, but....crickets, just crickets. So I started to leave. I almost made it to my vehicle, limping with my painful throbbing foot, wearing flip flops because my foot was way too swollen to fit into any other shoes I had, when I realized I needed to come back for a follow up. Good thing at least one person was paying attention.. Walked all the way back in. Office staff seemed surprised I was back. I imparted the one important thing the doctor told me. I needed to make a follow up appointment. Amazingly, there were a lot of openings available. I can't imagine why. So, I learned from friends, family, and Web MD, what I should do. I occasionally took some Ibuprofen, wore the boot, except when driving, and bore through the pain. Without a doubt, the worst, most unprofessional, disorganized, unclear, doctor's visit I have ever experienced. And for the record, there were only 2 other people in the front waiting area when I got there, and maybe one, possibly two when I left. So it seems to me, they had plenty of time to do the right thing. read more

The office and nursing staff is great here. I had surgery for a broken clavicle a few years ago and Dr. Erickson was amazing. Hardly any scar! However, the P.A. I saw today treated me like I was an idiot and did not listen to me a me at all. I don't care if you think my problem is mundane; it's hard for me. He had a horrible personality and treated me like he couldn't care less about my pain. It took me a lot to leave work and go in and pay out if pocket for this visit. The least he could do is treat me respectfully. Take note as there are other players in this game. I will NOT return here. read more

I went into the urgent care in severe shoulder bicep pain and unable to use full arm. I never even got to a Dr the receptionist informed me it sounded like I needed to make an appointment with their neck specialist. Mistake number 1 So a nurse pulled me into a room and without looking or anything other than listening to the receptionist comments told me it wasn't my shoulder more than once. I explained again. Still told me you should see our neck specialist. Then proceeded to tell me if I was Really in that much pain I should go to the emergency room. As I stood there crying in pain in their Urgent Care thinking isn't that what urgent care is for. Need less to say I was sent away. Yes she was totally wrong I ended up in the emergency room in whitefish ( which were awesome) it was my shoulder not only did I have an infection there I had calcific tendinitis. Will never return or refer anyone. read more

Sure, I was a walk-in, so I expected to have to wait. I certainly didn't expect to wait nearly 3 hours. I can handle the wait but what really irked me was the gal checking me in. She was rude, condescending and rather patronizing. For $850 I got an x-ray, a blow-up boot and maybe 4 minutes with a doctor. I'll hobble in somewhere else the next time I break an ankle. read more

I needed a total knee replacement. After putting it off for years I decided it was time. After asking several local PTs, friends and other physicians I selected Dr. Makman. My surgery went very well and after two weeks I am able to walk without a walker or cane. Just starting the physical therapy now that I am cleared. I must say I was surprised by some reviews I read. My experience was just the opposite. I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Makman and his team. read more

Most of the office staff are very friendly. However, I was left in the exam room waiting for about 30 mins When there was no one in the waiting room when I got there. When Dr. Rizzolo finally came in he was dismissive, in a hurry, and didn't seem interested in hearing me. He spent no more than 5 mins. With me and tried to tell me he thought I had fibromyalgia and recommend I go to the wellness center. I feel extremely upset for being dismissed like I was a child and treated like I know nothing about my own body. The worst dr. I have ever been to I seen n.p. That were better. Very poor. I highly recommend you find a different dr. read more

I had a foot surgery performed by Dr Erickson. Dr Erickson removed a bunion, corrected 2 hammertoes and lowered my arch on my right foot. My foot is so deformed looking now and hurts most of the time. He lowered my arch on one foot, which then left me with issues of finding comfortable shoes with a low arch on one foot and high arch on the other. The bunion moved my big toe, which caused it to push into the next toe. Immediately following surgery I noticed my big toe still in that same position. Dr Erickson was so impressed with lowering my arch, which I knew nothing about until after the surgery, that he didn't listen when I tried to explain that my big toe was still pushing against my other toe. This has by far been the worst surgery that I have ever had. I wouldn't allow Dr Erickson to perform surgery on any of my family or friends. read more
