I was referred to this practice by my physical therapist while I was in rehab after a car accident…read morethat left me with a broken pelvis, knee and ankle. After 2 weeks in the hospital and 6 weeks in rehab, I was no weight bearing for a while and so this is my attempt at learning to walk again and regaining mobility. My insurance Emblem/ GHI was accepted so I have only a co-pay of $20. The facility is convenient, clean and well staff with a wide range of equipment to service your needs. Katrina, Neil and Anna are amazing. They have been very keen to my needs and the therapeutic practices that would best support my healing journey. The appointments have been honored in a timely manner and I am pleased with the changes in mobility that I've seen. My hope is that over the 16 sessions I'll be able to transition from walker to cane and be fully mobile independently.

The therapy itself and the therapist were all very nice and pretty knowledgeable. The admin side not so much. Unfortunately there were a few issues with paperwork that did delay and interrupt the rehab process. If I had to do physical therapy again I'm not sure I would return due to that mistake. I would only consider it because of the therapists.

Many doctors failed to correctly diagnose this before I came to Pro-Tek for treatment. The last time I had an "attack", I was certain in my mind that my spine was literally collapsing on me and surgery would be the next step. I had woken up in the middle of the night in severe pain, such as I have never experienced before. In addition, I was literally unable to stand for hours. But, being in the medical profession myself for many years before I retired, I knew surgery would be the very last resort. The Therapy that you need the most!!…read more We're told to go to doctors when we're sick, but no one really talks about what you should do if you have pain, balance issues, muscle tightness, or anything else that can be due to being out of shape or wearing down your body. When I complained about non-stop pain to my general doctor, the first thing they suggested was going to pain management. When I visited another doctor and told them about the pain I was experiencing they suggested I take medication (muscle relaxers). I'm glad that I pushed back and said absolutely not. Not everything can be remedied with a pill or quick bandaid fix. When I started physical therapy with Brian I wasn't sure where to start about my pain and discomfort issues. I couldn't lay down and was even having trouble staying asleep because I had so much hip pain. I also had a ton of neck and shoulder pain. He knew exactly what should be worked on and what would help. I hadn't had that much relief in months. Over the 2 months of coming to PROMET in Atlas mall I've felt myself get stronger, feel generally happier, and I experience a lot less discomfort. I can't believe I went for months without being able to turn my neck fully because it hurt so much. I love coming to physical therapy and I will be really sad the day it ends. It truly is the therapy that everyone needs. If your a mom you probably need PT from holding your baby or pushing a carriage. If you work at a computer you probably need PT. If you've been thinking about it, trust your gut and get physical therapy at PROMET.

After my insurance was no longer taken by the doctor they only gave me 5 days prior to find another physical therapist which was pretty short notice. The young lady was not knowledgeable till what date o was able to be serviced . After no longer being a patient I needed a referral and my plan of care as well as just documentation of how many visits I've had for court and seeing another physical therapist She told me the doctor was on vacation for 2 weeks and I wouldn't be able to get anything needed . I was a bit confused seeing as I told the doctor I needed this days before my insurance was no longer accepted by their place of business. When I was ready for to get my documents after Much fighting I was in extreme pain by the time it was ready for pick up and couldn't move. My finance had to pick up the referral and wasn't able To get it till 2 weeks after . When he arrived the same receptionist that gave me such a hard time only gave him a harder time and the referral I already had which made no sense I needed a referral from them and a plan of care they didn't even follow while I was there and then when my fiancé asked For documentation of the dates I've been seen she said I had to request my medical history. I then called her on the phone to explain again what I needed and she was rude and spoke over me and had a very nasty attitude and I had to yell over her because she was so nasty. Crazy thing is both me and my fiancé would be seen there with no issue except for with this particular receptionist.But however she gave my finance what I needed and continue to tell him I need to learn how to speak to her. She is absolutely atrocious for her manner , behavior and her from of speaking to guests. I honestly loved his place till she became sooooo rude and spoke over me and the last straw was her inappropriate behavior telling my fiancé "I need to learn how to speak to people" I think its your receptionist that needs to learn to not be rude and speak over others or make Comments in that manner especially to my fiancé.
