We upgraded both to the LiftMaster Belt 6580L.The entire process took only two days from the initial quote to the finished project. On the day of the project, I replied to his message in the morning, and Mike said they could come that very afternoon! A different technician came out later that day, worked quickly and efficiently, and even hauled away both of our old openers. Highly recommend!

Are you looking for a reasonably priced garage technician? These guys at The Door Doctors are…read moremechanical geniuses! They can fix anything, but they've really honed their skills on garage doors. My family, like many others, uses my garage door every day. It opens at least 25 times a day, . If you add the opening and closing of the door's , it's probably around 10,000 times a year. But here's the thing: my garage door was heavy and noisy. It was a real struggle wearing out my garage opener. Kevin, the technician, came to my rescue. He accurately weighed the doors, calculated the right springs, tensioned them correctly, and tuned the door to a gentle close. My wife is so happy since the garage door no longer can be heard in the upstairs bedroom every time someone comes in or out through the day. The Door Doctors did such a fantastic job on my first garage door I decided to have them work their magic on my other door even though it was already operational. When I compared it next to their work it was very obvious it was originally installed by total amateurs! Now both of the doors operate smoothly, and our counter balance to weigh almost nothing. I suspect this type of attention to detail will add considerable longevity and not require replacing springs frequently. Thanks again, Kevin! You're a true professional. And guess what? They also sell a replacement sprocket( SPEEDGEAR X2) for belt-driven garage door openers. He was able to install these on both of my LiftMaster belt driven door openers, fixing the known issue of slow opening. https://youtu.be/rI0ueaMyKSg?si=wVpEe1RpKOkharx9 I highly recommend them to anyone who needs garage door repair or maintenance. They're the best in the business!

The cost was very reasonable. At my new house , the garage door seal was falling apart and was not a standard type. One of my openers didn't work also and the other one was 25 years old. Pat came out and was able to replace the seals & seal mounts on both doors. They're now a standard type I can get at Home Depot if ever needed again. He also installed (2) new Liftmaster WLED openers, which are super quiet and have battery backup and really bright LED lights. Best part is the app that lets me open/close and check status of the doors from anywhere. I had a trouble code about 3 weeks after install and I contacted Pat to see how to resolve. He just stopped by and readjusted the sensors at no charge. Great service, great pricing and really nice guys.

Chris didn't do any of that and it was a much less time consuming, no nonsense appointment. This is a story of a leaky shower. After literally years of hiring various well regarded plumbers…read moreand handymen to try to remedy it, it always leaked again - usually in less than a year. When mold showed through the ceiling of the room below the shower and the mold remediation contractor cut through the ceiling it was clear we needed to consider replacing the shower and much of the subfloor. Serious perusing of reviews on yelp led me to JRW. Just one phone call made me hopeful. First they re- grouted the shower pan/wall connection so it could be used until they had an opening in their schedule a few weeks away to replace the shower. Finally the big day came. Joel (the owner) sent me photos (it was a tenant occupied home) everyday and explained every step of the way what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He respected my decisions. He also picked out materials subject to my approval - and I always said yes because his choices were excellent as well as in budget. I had been concerned of the impact of a big project with workers in and out every day for a week or so on the tenants. I needn't have worried, the day after it was complete the tenant emailed me unsolicited and said that the workers did a great job: excellent workmanship, seemed trustworthy, respectful of the tenants and house, cleaned up everything and though they hope no more issues arise, they said if workers are ever needed there again they would hope it's the crew from JRW. Two small issues arose unrelated to this project (sticky door and gutter issue) and Joel took care of them for a minor charge. Most mom and pop landlords will tell you- the dreaded call from a tenant that something is broken causes you a few minutes of angst trying to figure out who to call to get it fixed. Now that I know about JRW, I won't feel that worry anymore.

Joel, Ed, and the others are a pleasure to work with. The first job was a master bath remodel, which came out beautiful. At that time, they also repaired our ceiling which was damaged when our roof leaked. Earlier this year, they replaced a shower surround and kitchen sink. I recommend them!
