I have been using this compounding pharmacy for over two years for my bio-identical hormones, since I moved to Oregon from Washington. I have had experience using at least 2 other compounding pharmacies over the years in Washington so I can compare service and price with them. I was delighted that their price is less than what I was paying(since I'm retired now!) and I am extremely happy with their service! I use their mail-to-me service(which they don't charge me postage for-unbelievable!). I usually get my refill mailed out the same day if I call in am, but I've called late in day and told them I was almost out and got special late day mail service! They have always been professional..I often give my refill order to the "manager" or whatever his title is (he's talked about his "staff") and he has never insulted me(I am female), hung up on me or any of the things some reviewers have talked about. He's professional, considerate and brief..takes my refill info and gets the job done. By the way, I have always gotten the opinion they are very busy(in part because I do get my refill out that day, that would keep them busy to do it for all their customers) but have never felt they have been rude or unprofessional because of it. On the contrary, I have had calls back from both staff and "manager" regarding things that came up with getting prescription refill orders from my MD etc. One other wrinkle that could have caused a problem is that we have 2 homes and sometimes I change the order to be mailed to our other address...never hear any impatience regarding this, nor have I ever had my refill sent to the wrong address by mistake. As for comparisons with my other WA compounding pharmacies, Professional Compounding Pharmacy definitely rates "best of bunch". Not only in price, but I actually had lost orders with my last compounding pharmacy in WA!(I would call in a refill, go in to pick-up and they wouldn't have it. I would have to go back later[very inconvenient esp if you're working] to get..happened at least 3 times I can think of) So, overall, I am very happy to recommend Professional Compounding Pharmacy in Corvallis with 5 stars!! read more

I was employed at this pharmacy briefly, as it only took me a mere two weeks before recognizing the misogyny, disrespect and verbal abuse that the owner projects at those around him. The way this man treats both his customers and employees is disgraceful and prove that his compounding pharmacy is anything but "professional." The owner yells at employees on a regular basis, speaks about them to others within ear shot calling them names and putting them down, and even "fires" his own customers for absurd reasons or simply because he is having a bad day. He is well known for frequently badmouthing other business owners and their employees as well, disrespecting the veterinarians, nurses, pharmacy techs, medical assistants and office employees whom he corresponds with over the phone on a regular basis. You can find examples of such interactions on review websites such as google and yelp, and I am sure many of those who experience such interactions run so fast and far from this unprofessional man that they do not bother taking the time to write about it. Between the constant volatility and intolerably hostile work environment created, and the condescending attitude/frequent bursts of anger toward customers, it is a wonder how anyone remains a returning customer or existing employee for long. If you desire supporting local business' where people are treated with the kindness, dignity, and respect that they deserve-- I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

I started ordering medication for our dog from here, per our Vet's recommendation. I called ahead of time to ask them questions about the medication. They fielded all of them with the confidence I needed. I placed and got it the day after ordering...SUPER FAST! I would call in the following orders with much advanced noticed because our dog needs it daily and didn't want to run out. They consistently get it to me by the day or 2 after I order. It is a medication that was almost double the price from my hometown apothecary and when I was quoted the price at PCP, I was skeptical....for no reason. The product was even better! I then needed a compounded medication for myself and called around and got the best price here. I live in Eugene and had an appointment in Corvallis. I wanted to meet the staff and see the place because I was curious. It was top notch, spic and span and Sami the pharmacist came out to greet me and helped with the Out of Network forms I needed to fill out. I will never do price checking again. My dog, who has recently passed, required injections of Desmopressin twice daily. Desmopressin is usually in the form of a nasal spray for humans. It was extremely difficult to find this medication in a vial form. If you find it anywhere else, it's either too diluted or extremely expensive (more than $300 for a month's worth of medication). It got to the point where none of the local pharmacies would stock it nor transfer the nasal spray solution into a vial. Northwest Compounders was so wonderful. They were timely, reasonable priced, and were able to ship the meds to my home on ice since the medication needed to be refrigerated. Great friendly staff and always followed up with costs prior to charging my credit card. I'd recommend them to everyone. read more

This is a very professional, service oriented business. Caring folks here make sure its always right. Service is excellent, in person or on the phone. This business has worked with me and my doctors many times to ensure I get what I need, to work through the insurance paperwork, to provide forms & receipts I need for insurance submission, and to clarify with my doctors the intended delivery. Long distance shipping has helped me continue business with them even 4 years after I moved from town. I have received my medicines in a timely manner for my needs. I give them an A plus, in my book. My toy poodle has an enlarged heart and must live on various medications for the rest of her life. Our vet had some difficulty finding the right place to provide her with the proper dosage, and that is how we came to work with Pet Pharmacy. I now work directly with their staff, and they are friendly and professional and kind. (Love the little candies in the packages you send--a nice touch for a worried pet parent--made me smile.)
