I really tried to give them our business, HORRIBLE communication, unreliable! I just can't take that chance for cleaning our business.

Manager Stephanie's communication is great, and she also visited once to do a quality control inspection after the clean. Owner Davlyn isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and cover a cleaning when they are temporarily short staffed. Maybe due to the numerous (well-earned) high reviews here, there can be a wait list for new clients. It's worth the wait, especially if you are looking for recurring cleans every 1, 2 or 4 weeks. They're very thorough about understanding a new client's needs and ensuring that they have enough staff to maintain the quality of cleaning before taking on another client. They care very much about their clients, and it shows! The team even sent us a baby card after our newborn arrived home from the hospital! We are moving to the East Bay later this year, which unfortunately is outside of the ACS service area, so congrats to the next person to get our spot! We hope to be back in the South Bay sometime in the future if the housing market calms down, and will be looking to get back on the client list at that point!

InstaMaids - Maid Service. Made Simple.

Pro tip: Call them and they will overwrite the appointment calendar online. I got the hourly clean service for two hours two bed two bath.

I called Insta Maids to book a cleaning service, and during that call I asked a simple question…read moreabout five shirts on the floor. I explained that I am disabled and asked whether the cleaner could pick them up. I was told that would require roughly an additional $100 charge. Rather than pay that, I said I would pick the shirts up myself. What should have been a simple booking then turned into repeated attempts to move me to a more expensive service. I eventually booked the standard service online and picked up the five shirts myself. To my surprise, Insta Maids then CANCELLED my appointment because they believed I needed the higher-priced service. They called me while I was working and again tried to discuss the service. I specifically explained that my break was over, I had to go, and I needed to lead a scheduled sales meeting with more than 20 people. When the conversation continued anyway, I ended the call. Then they immediately called me back. Because I had two consecutive calls from an unfamiliar number--and because I have both a seriously ill family member and employees who may repeatedly call in an emergency--I stopped my live Zoom meeting and answered. It was Insta Maids again. I made it very clear that I was working and could not talk. I ended that call as well. Since Insta Maids had cancelled my appointment, I hired another cleaning company. I actually chose a MORE expensive company and booked approximately $300 per week in recurring service. Price wasn't the issue. I simply wanted a company that would take my booking, provide the service, and respect my time. Then this morning an Insta Maids cleaner unexpectedly showed up at my door. I discovered that Insta Maids had reinstated the appointment and charge even though I had never agreed to reinstate the service they had cancelled. When I called, I was told that they had informed me during the previous phone call that they were reinstating the appointment. I had an AI transcript of the call in front of me, and it did not show that statement being made at all. To be completely fair, after listening to the actual recording, it sounds possible that the representative MAY have been beginning to tell me something about the appointment when I cut him off. I had already repeatedly explained that I was leading a meeting and could not continue the conversation. Whatever he was beginning to say, I did not hear a completed statement that my cancelled appointment was being reinstated, and--more importantly--I never agreed to reinstate it. There is an enormous difference between attempting to tell a customer something and obtaining the customer's authorization. I did not authorize Insta Maids to reinstate the service they had cancelled. I did not agree to the reinstated appointment. I did not expect anyone to arrive at my home. By the time they arrived, I already had another cleaning company scheduled for that afternoon. This entire situation could have been avoided by simply respecting two things: 1. When a customer says, "I cannot talk right now," let them go and call back at an appropriate time. 2. When your company cancels a customer's appointment, don't reinstate it and charge the customer's card without clearly obtaining their agreement. They had already made the sale. Somehow they turned a completed sale into a cancellation, multiple unwanted phone calls, an unexpected cleaner at my door, a disputed charge, and a customer who has now taken approximately $10,000 a year in recurring cleaning business elsewhere. In fact, I am paying the competing company a higher rate so I will not pay $15,000 a year. That's an extraordinary amount of unnecessary effort to lose a customer they had already won.

Their service exceeded my expectations. The only minor cons were that they were a few minutes later…read morethan their arrival window (which they apologized for), and that they send too many text messages and emails regarding the appointment. The bottom line is, they did a great job and worked much harder than I asked them to, since the carpet was in bad shape and I didn't expect much. In fact, they got out practically all the stains, which I didn't expect them to do. They were efficient and friendly, and they stuck to their estimate! After seeing all the time and effort they put in, I fully expected to be charged up to double, but they asked for the original amount even after I offered more (so I increased my tip). I will email Green USA again the next time I need cleaning.

They "cleaned" the carpet in one small bedroom at our condo today. I posted the photos so you can see for yourself. They were there for a very short period of time, and the carpet looks exactly the same as when they arrived. Then told my mom that she didn't specify that they actually had to *clean* the carpet (ie. shampoo). It honestly looks like they just vacummed. My mom has cancer and is not feeling well, and now has to deal with this mess. It isn't disappointing simply because the result is so poor, but also because they knowingly charged her so much for such a small space, spent very little time there, were actually ok with this quality of work when they left, tried to blame my mom and were unwilling to do anything about it. Avoid this company at all costs. IN RESPONSE TO THE COMMENT FROM THE OWNER: No, I don't have the wrong business. And I'm sure you know what I am referring to because my mother contacted you about this very issue today. She was the one that reached out about our condo, so yes, you wouldn't have the initials LA because those are my initials, and my mother was the one who contacted you. That doesn't absolve you from poor business practices. Furthermore, you did NOT clean the carpet in this tiny room and charged $160 for basically nothing. So, I agree with you there. My mother hired you to clean the carpet in a tiny room. The room was empty. Charging someone $160 to vacuum an empty room is disgusting. If they weren't prepared to clean the carpet, that is not our fault. They should have immediately provided a refund or returned to actually complete the work at a different time.
