I usually come to this place to get my eyebrows done but after todays experience, I will never go back. I had my lower leg waxed (sugaring method) and the person doing it did not know what she was doing. I can tell that the hair wasn't being pulled from the roots. I checked after she was done with one leg and yes, hair was still present. She then had the nerve to tell me that it was because I was previously shaving and what I'm seeing is ingrown hair and if I came back, it will be a lot more cleaner. This place was great at first...but now it seems they rush you into the chair and right out of it for threading/waxing. I went there to have a completely horrible experience. As soon as you walk in, they just rush you in and have you take a seat. The woman I had seemed to have a cold of some time and sneezed all over me as I sat there to get my brows and upper lip done. I clearly said I wanted both, but the lady just quickly did my eyebrows and walked away. When I stated I need my upper lip done too, she came back and quickly did a shoddy job. Parts of my upper lip have little "patches of fur" so to speak. It looks atrocious. As I walked out, they said some not-so-nice things. But I think they didn't consider that I know hindi :). This place is a hidden treasure and the prices are fab. I go here regularly for eyebrow and upper lip threading and being of Indian origin I know how hard it is to find a place that does it just right. At $9 for threading bth eyebrow and upper lip, you get great service. Go to Raj for everything, she knows exactly what she is doing and she has the hands of a magician. Came here on a Living Social deal. The ladies are super friendly and did a great job on waxing (legs, brazlian) and eyebrows as well.

I've only gotten my eyebrows threaded here because let's be frank, it doesn't seem to be 'professional' at much else. It's $5 and no matter which lady does it, they always come out well. The staff has usually been friendly to me but not annoyingly so which is how I like it. I also have a stamp card and have gotten a few free threadings which is awesome. read more

Legit everytime i come here... i regret it for the rest of the year. They ruined my brows like every time.... always came out completely uneven. I have tried to explain to them many times that they did this to my brows and they always insist on fixing it ..only to make them WORSE. i understand brows are like sisters and not twins...but really they came out looking like distant cousins! ? I went to get in a routine thread or eyebrow wax and one of the ladies (usually let anyone their do it) threaded my entire eyebrow off! I didn't notice until I got home and washed my face since I wore brow pencil and powder and there were two or three hairs near the corner close to my nose. I never went back to complain because I only passed through this place once a month or so and was leaving to study abroad for the next month. Since I was studying abroad I did not have time to take care of my eyebrows since we were hiking I did not have proper makeup remover and had to take it off with a makeup remover cloth. I wiped away of what was left and came back to the U.S. with no eyebrows! Everyone has told me to go back and complain but since they're illegally working there I know no one will care about what they did to me. I wish this placed closed permanently because it is the worse since they can't actually do their job. read more

Terrible place. Women so rude. Went in to have threading and tint done and while by Brows came out ok it was not worth the bad experience.the women in there were yelling at each other so loud, it was like being at a market. While working on my Brows she kept yelling and yelling right into my ear. At one point she got a blob of tint on my jacket and when I asked for a napkin to wipe it off she threw it at me. Wish I could give them zero stars!! What a disappointment! Inconsistent work by the girls and such unprofessional behavior. I have been coming here for years since they opened and they where my go to place but my last 3 experiences have been so terribly disappointing. I brought my mother here to get her lashes done for her 50th birthday and the girl did what she wanted completely disregarding my mother's wishes! She gave her these heavy inconsistent lashes that my mother hated. We had asked for something natural. My mother ended up keeping them even though she didn't like them.. But to our surprise by the next day half of them had fallen of one eye. We returned and asked them to fix it because that's their policy and they where talking amongst themselves in a different language and making faces at us. Even though they where upset and after arguing with them they agreed to fix them. Totally not the experience I wanted for my mothers 50th birthday! Needless to say WE WILL NOT RETURN!! read more

This review is only for the eyebrows place. I live nearby and had been once before and I didn't like it they were very rough and didn't do a good job. I went back this week because I was in a rush and it was the worst decision ever. The lady in the first chair did my eyebrows and she was being extremely rough on my skin I asked her to be softer but nope nothing. She didn't give me a mirror after and then rushed me off the chair. When I got home I looked in the mirror and my eyebrows were red, bumpy and ever had blood coming out of one. She irritated my skin and even opened up my skin, and had hairs on top of my eyebrows. This place is ridiculous..I came hear to get my nails done. Gel by the way. The girl who did it was completely unprofessional. First she made a face when I tried to ask her what kind of gel they are using and how I want my nails. She didn't listen at all and ended up being completely overwhelmed with how I want them to be done. Totally disrespectful. U are not supposed to do what u want u are supposed to do what the customer wants I pay for it right! But I dont wanna be mean or anything but this was the last time I get my nails done in an Asian place. I love this place... The staff is very friendly I was skeptical at first to try waxing here after reading reviews but decided to give it a shot ....the girl took me in the room for the service...I was pleased to see the clean room she started doin my waxing she show me the clean sticks first before she began... I'm about to give up on eyebrow threading. I can't find anyone who can (and/or will even try to) shape my eyebrows the way I want (which I have found at expensive eyebrow shaping places so I know it's not impossible, but well, they're expensive), and while the job I got here was not bad, the threader got impatient with me when I tried to explain what I wanted. I have been going to this place for the past 3 years. They do an awesome join at eyebrows, upper lip and chin threading.. Have never got a chance to complain. I also just got a 5 facial package for my wedding and I must say that my face looks so much brighter. I got the Orange Peel facial specific for black spots and all 5 facials were done by Reshma (amazing lady amazing work). I highly suggest to visit this place. Just a heads up the place tends to get busy at times so if you are going for facials or waxing I would suggest you to get an appointment. read more

Came in here on a Friday evening after work to get a shellac manicure and my eyebrows threaded. The manicure turned out ok for the cost but they did not follow the proper shellac method for applying the manicure (I've had one before from another salon and did some research into it - I know the proper procedure). So far its lasted over a week. They did a really good job on my eyebrows. I just wish they were cleaner their prices for a shellac manicure is really good, only $20 but I don't want to take the risk of getting and infection from tools that are not properly sterilized. I'll defiantly go back for my eyebrows though. read more

I've been coming to this place for about a year now. I didn't really trust it at first considering my sister in law told me how much of a horrible customer service she experienced. But I gave it a try because it was only a short walk away from my house. Yes, the ladies do have an attitude, but you get used to it. Hey they're only doing my brows so who cares. I only like this tall skinny indian lady, I usually go to her for my brows, she's nice. The last experience I had was terrible, another lady was doing my brows and my upper lip, she did it so quickly and I was left bleeding on my upper lip. Not to mention, she didn't even make them even looking. When I went to pay, I brought out my stamp card and it was my last stamp before my next free threading, she took notice. After I paid her, she told me my tip was not good enough because she performed two services. Well lady, that's your job!!! You can't just be asking people for more tip money. And I'm not the only customer she has said that to, she's done that with other customers as well. I found that very pathetic in her because she made it public. Makes me question on whether I should even still be going to this place. So disgusting!! read more
