In short they focus on league pool and players that have a passion for the game. They do not advertise, they do not look to expand beyond their core customer base, they do not appear to want to chase any new business segments or customers outside of their core business. They make cues, sell cues, sell billiard related products, have tables to play on, have leagues to join, and employees that are willing to share their passion for the game and knowledge. It's honestly an odd location, an odd building (very little signage for the business) BUT if you want a business that does one thing and does it well (billiards) this should be on your list of places to check out.

We met Mom-Schmelke and Son-Schmelke during our visit and they were both fantastic. About 80% of the cues they sell are hand-made right there on-site. The craftsmanshift is outstanding the prices are reasonable for the quality of the work! They have a table in the showroom and they encourage you to try out everything before you buy it.... DEMO!! They have playing cues, breaking cues, break/jump cues, and jump cues. If you find a cue that you want customized (i.e. added/removed weight) they will even customize that for you on the spot.
