Honestly one of the worst experience with a trade company I've had recently…read more My wife and I were in the process of buying a home and there was water issues in the crawl space that needed to be remedied before the sale went through, so we called this company to have them waterproof our foundation. After the $13000 bill and "finish" of the project we noticed water still in the crawl space and our back step mysteriously pitched towards the house. We didn't think much of it because we had bigger projects to tackle. Fast forward a few months and it's time to figure out what happened. We call and explain the situation, and somehow it doesn't fall under warranty. They offer to come look at what's going on and potentially have to finish the project, for another $1500 plus $1000 to take out the step. We consider this to be ridiculous and attempt to take the step out ourself (which we do after another week of back breaking work), only to discover that they dug under our step, likely the cause of the collapse and pitch towards the house and only placed 6 inches of barrier without even attaching it to the house. Now after about 5 calls with no contact back I'm for ed to leave this review warning other homeowners from working with this crooked company. PLEASE STAY AWAY.

We have in fact used WMW 3 times on 3 different homes and recommended WMW to other friends and clients they always step up to the plate and hit it out of the ballpark! Thanks WMW for taking great care its truly hard to find a company that cares as much as you do!

About seven years or so we had Ayer come out and remove the old broken clay weeping tile in our…read morebasement and install a new system complete with sump system. They did a nice job no more water in the basement. Hated the little in ground sump discharge tank in the yard...always standing water. We ultimately had a local contractor reroute the sump discharge to the city storm sewer system $$$. It resolved the problem. Ayers at the same time also installed new basement windows (wrong type) but never finished the installation until months later after a lot of calling...in the interim we patched them as best we could, but our basement became a haven for spiders and other insects. The next year at our annual Ayers sump inspection, Zach (Zachart Stout) pointed out the failing of our 80-year-old north basement wall, of which we were already aware of. So, by 2026 after annual inspections by Zach, the wall situation had worsened to the point of needing repair (or take your chances). An Ayers crew came out and installed a series of GeoLock wall anchors to stabilize the wall. Their work was timely, very efficient and left no mess. We probably would have rated Ayers with a 5 if it hadn't been such a poor previous experience with the windows. Thanks, Zach, for your help and advice over the years.

It was actually a heating/cooling problem with the humidifier, and in addition to disconnecting temporarily, Vince helped me find a specialist who could provide a permanent fix. There was no charge for the assessment, but if this had been a foundation problem there is no doubt I would have had Rangel do the work!

Rangel's Waterproofing and Construction installed a basement tile system and a new basement egress window the week of October 9, 2017. Ozzie Rangel and his twin sons, Vincent and Gabriel, own and operate the business. Vincent is the manager, writing the estimates and contracts. Vincent and his dad Ozzie came to write my estimate. Both men were very respectful of me and honored all my questions. Ozzie promised he or one of his sons would lead my crew. Not only did Gave lead my crew, Ozzie worked at my house at least two days. When the project was completed all things promised on the contract were completed as promised. Even though it took three trips to Menard's on Friday afternoon to get all supplies needed no corners were cut. Friday completion was the goal and the crew worked until 9 PM to reach the goal. In spite of the lateness and being dark the basement and yard were cleaned beyond my expectation before they left. Yes, the project was completed on time in spite of many glitches, but the best part of working with Rangel's was the courteousness and professionalism they displayed toward each other and me. By the time the project was compete we felt like friends. There were never any harsh words spoken to anyone. Gabe was even very polite and patient in teaching a new crew member. I would hire Rangel's Waterproofing & Construction again.

Arranged to have specialist coordinate service with other construction work being done at my house…read more They said coordinating would be no problem. Then, each person I speak to tells me it's not their job, they don't usually do that, they spoke with the contractor but they're not in charge of scheduling so they can't set anything up. Not a single person had the same story. The specialist called my contractor and I liars when relayed what the scheduler told me. She was the one with the most consistent story. Once I told the. I was going to cancel service because I didn't feel safe with this specialist in my home, I had to speak with yet another department. They told me it would take a week to cancel all the parts of the job, which took 24 hours to initiate. It's now been 10 days, the last update was that it's "processing" and they stopped responding to me last week. The new company that I had out reviewed the plan and said it was a good thing I didn't go through with it. The 2 piers they wanted to use to fix my foundation isn't enough to pass code. I am one of several clients the new company has had switch from Ayers who were presented with a bait and switch proposal. Save yourself. Don't use.
