As silly as it might sound, I was nervous to go here because I kept hearing how it was first…read morecome-first serve, and you should get here early. What I couldn't wrap my head around was...get there early and then what? So for my fellow Yelpers with slight anxiety, here's how it went: I got off work at 6am, they open at 9am. I opted to dilly dally a little longer at work because that just felt TOO early. Got there around 7:30 am, after a failed Wendy's breakfast run, to find that there were already 8 people there. There is a canopy and some chairs and a picnic bench off to the side of the building. The parking lot is somewhat chaotic and packed, but I did manage to find a spot without too big an issue. Others parked next door. Fortunately , there was a customer there who became the line ambassador. He kept most everyone in order. The employees started trickling in around 8:30a. Everyone lined up to get in the front door and on the list, just before 9. There was a small argument between the first 4 or so people about who was first....not my business. They quickly got everyone on the list, just provide your car color, make, model, year, and if you know what the issue is. I kept my keys until they came to get them. You can wait inside or outside. There is a single bathroom inside. Someone came around to get my keys at maybe 9:05a, they grabbed me to show me the issue under my car around 9:30. I was on my way home by 10:15a. The price was about $250 cheaper than what Mr. Tire quoted me. The workers I spoke with were all friendly and answered my questions. Checkout was smooth. I was advised to take a picture of my receipt because they are not computerized but they do offer a warranty. My car is so quiet now. I came home and my dog didn't even meet me at the door since he couldn't hear me coming! Would definitely use them again. Especially now that I know what to expect from the line situation.

My car was making a loud noise. I assumed that it was the muffler. Took my car to Bubba's, based on…read morethe reviews I'd seen online. It turned out it wasn't the muffler, but just a small part of the exhaust system. The mechanic told me it would be $300 plus to replace the small part. When I balked, he then said it would be only $165 to "repair" the part. Knowing nothing about cars, I went along with the cheaper repair, but had my doubts. How do you repair a part that needs to be replaced?? I'll probably go elsewhere next time.

Outstanding customer service with no pushy sales! They were going to tow to another shop (the…read moreother shop rudely told me they would not give an over the phone estimate or ball park - btw). Instead they checked my car to determine the exact problem. Something about the initial interaction made me want to try this place out and I'm glad I did! After dealing with several other car repair places (even the dealers) that are disrespectful to women like me and attempt to overcharge and scare me into agreement, I will happily become a long time customer of I & A!

I went to IAA Automotive today for a wheel alignment. After inspecting my truck, they told me they…read morecould not perform the alignment because the driver's side inner and outer tie rods were frozen and needed to be replaced. I had no way of knowing that before I arrived, so I asked for an estimate. I was quoted $130.66 for parts and $339.99 for labor, with a total of about $524. I decided to take the truck and compare prices before approving additional work. The employee became rude and told me I had wasted their time. That response was disappointing. I came in for an alignment, listened to their recommendation, and made a reasonable decision about an unexpected repair. I was also charged $85 for the diagnostic. After leaving, I went to another shop. They completed the wheel alignment in about an hour and did not tell me the tie rods needed replacing. I cannot say why the two shops gave me different assessments, but the difference concerns me. What I can say is that I felt pressured after declining the repair, and the customer service I received at IAA Automotive was unprofessional.
