When I picked up the suit, I was told there wasn't enough material in the jacket to loosened it so they just fixed the pants. I was raised by a mother of Asian descent and completely understand the foreign language and cultural barriers. My mother was also a seamstress. So, when this woman was rude to me when I called, I gave her the benefit of doubt. When I entered her shop with a smile and polite greeting and experienced more rudeness, I bit my tongue. But, when I was completely dismissed and told she would not alter my dress, I reached my limit. I have had similar alterations done to a different dress in the past, so I know they could have been done. She just did not want to do it and ended the consultation. Very, very disappointed.
