Extremely poorly managed. Company has a very unprofessional owner and also in my opinion, has a practice of using shill (phony) bidding for their "no reserve" auctions. I have both purchased from and been knocked out of auctions for their products. The sad thing is, on both auctions I lost out on, it was the same "bidder" that was high bidder for the item. Both times that bidder had the same exact feedback rating. It's clear in my opinion that "no reserve" means "protected pricing" by this unprofessional seller. For example; if they do reply back to this review, look at how "unprofessional" it will be. Keep in mind... I have already purchased a Clock from them. (and had to spend money with a Clock Smith to repair their clock that they sent to me damaged and incomplete) A company that has repeat buyers should treat their buyers with respect and kindness. But not this company. Beware. Runaway! You either pay their inflated pricing for what they're selling or in my opinion, you will get involved in their "protected price no reserve" auction. hard to find someone to repair Grandfather clocks, and this outfit did good work, at a reasonable price, and in a timely manner. Mom's Grandfather clock has been out of commission for at least 5 years, and a family friend referred ProClocks. They made a house call and fixed it in about an hour. read more

I went here on a Saturday at 10 am, which according to their website is the time they open. Approximately 15 minutes later a car comes in and a young man gets out and opens the door. Upon entering I was knocked over by the pungent smell of marijuana. I was going to have my clock serviced there but, decided against it. Not a good impression in my honest opinion. read more

I bought a part for a clock from this place. Three days after getting it, the item was broken. I informed the shop owner, but he didn't care. He wanted me to fix it myself. I'm not a clock repairman, and now I'm out $200. Poor, indifferent, unhelpful customer service. read more

It seems there are a lot of negative reviews about ProClocks but I have to say I would disagree with them at this time. I took my mantle clock in today and the gentleman fixed it within minutes. Not only did he fix it they didn't charge me for the repair. I will happily use them again!! read more

My experiences at ProClocks were that the repairmen they use are not consistent, some seem competent, and some seem not. The workers and the boss are not on the same page, and they do not protect your clock when it is in their possession, hence a broken foot on a scroll and pillar clock. My clock did not even run when, after 6 months, I finally just took it home. I found a real professional shop, who fixed it properly. After adjusting it back to normal and changing back the parts ProClock had installed contrary to my instructions, this repairman leaned over to me, and whispered "This clock was worked on by real amateurs.. they really f***** it up." ProClocks never even apologized for breaking the foot of my clock, but they did fix it finally, after I said I would come in, get the clock, take it to Wiebold's to be repaired, and send them the bill. I would recommend exploring all other options if you have clock repair needs. read more

This place is awful after waiting 14 weeks for a clock repair the guy who runs the place wouldn't give us any ideal when he would do it. We found another clock repair place and when my husband took it to the new shop the other place had taken it all apart on the inside. Now he will have to repair all that he done too! Took my coo coo clock there because it stop running. I've had this since stationed in Germany, bought it new there in the 90s. It took 12 weeks to get it back which was not a problem but now it will run but looses 10 minutes an hour or an hour and a half overnight. My wife called and he said that didn't sound too bad and that we should adjust it ourselves. He also told her that its probly because they don't have air conditioning in their shop and we do have it in our house. Really? $300 dollars and loosing an hour and half overnight is not bad and its because of our AC? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I'm and industrial/mechanical engineer and I know the effects of temperature on mechanical parts and its very minimal and does not change gear ratios which is what clocks run off of - gears. Should have known better cause when we dropped it off he was on the phone with a customer complaining about their clock and then was just very unpleasant to deal with. Bad thing is, he was the only one in town to take it. read more

This has mainly to do with the eBay side of this business. Perhaps the shop is really nice, and perhaps things are much better in person. I would just advise all due caution when dealing with them over the Internet, out of state. I spent over $400 on a clock here, but after a series of problems and sending it back to their shop twice to get things looked at, I was left holding the bag for two rather pricey UPS return shipping charges in the false expectation that I would get reimbursed for transport charges involving defects that had to be rectified on a new-out-of-the-box item. I would have thought this a reasonable expectation of anyone's basic customer service, but not so here. While the owner was reasonably communicative about various other aspects of the clock, he willfully ignored any and all questions that I (very explicitly) posed regarding the shipping issues. Caveat emptor. Lesson ruefully learned. read more
