When our tourguide recommended us this place for truffle sandwiches, I envisioned a wide selection of different truffle sandwiches. Perhaps even truffle spread over toast. It ended up being two types of dinky truffle mini bites. One with foie gras and truffle. The other with just truffle. Was it good? Yes. Was it satisfying? No. Not really. Doesn't hurt to fancy your mouth with these delicious demon bites.

I wanted to come for the truffle sandwiches and they did not disappoint! They're small and basically bite-sized but you can't expect much for only €2-3. I didn't mind because I ended up getting three different truffle ones and made a sampler dish with them. The truffle flavor permeated each bite. Such a cute place for a quick bite or a small lunch.

Fantastic place! Very Italian in the best way. Great service and drinks. Food was simple and tasty. Perfect drop in place.

It's a fancy little place known for its truffles. Come here for aperitivo. A glass of wine and a couple of their truffle paninis and truffle and foie gras. They were light and fluffy. Definitely not what I expected when it was recommended to us but is a welcome experience.

Enjoy truffle panini with a glass of Prosecco or choose from a selection of fantastic Antinori wine for a glass of red or white wines with the selection of delicious panini. This historical bar (since 1885) is the perfect place for a snack or aperitif.

This place is beautiful, intimate, fancy with good products and good price (for 3 mini sandwiches and a drink you will pay around 10€/pers). The Prosecco is as good as champagne (and I'm French so...!) and if you don't drink alcohol, the Bio apple juice is a good option. The people are really nice, polite and open the discussion easily. It's fancy but even if you don't wear Chanel, they will welcome you with a big smile ! I've heard they organize an event once a month (next one on Tuesday 23th May) where you can meet the producers of their truffles :)

Went there on a Tuesday at 2 PM. It was closed.

Looks like it's closed for good. Showed up at 2 o'clock on a Tuesday. I was super disappointed. Maybe they changed their hours of operation.

There is seating inside for maybe a dozen people but we chose to sit at one of the 3 small tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. Draft beer was $6 euro and the mixed drinks varied from $8-12 euro. We met Alycia who is one of the owners. She was very pleasant and friendly. We stopped for a drink and stayed for 3 hours. We also stopped for a 2nd happy hour on our last day in Florence. Worth checking out if you happen to be in town and want a quieter spot. We loved it.

The owner and staff were fantastic, very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The wine bar itself is a small quaint little place. Probably seats about 12 to 15 people total and has plenty of windows so you can see passersby and people watch. The cheeseboard? Get the cheeseboard. They do a fantastic job of pairing everything together to really bring so many flavors to your tastebuds. Their house wine is phenomenal and they take great pride in finding the grapes/different varietals to make it come to life. They have a both a red and a white house wine option. The second time we went - and yes, we went more than once in the four days we were there - we enjoyed one of the sandwiches and it was absolutely amazing. The bread, I can't even explain, the bread it's so flavorful and so good and so light. That paired with the delicious meats and cheeses were 100% worth it. I definitely recommend this location to anybody who is visiting Florence regularly or for their first time.

The outside signs are all about the wine tasting and that was something I was not interested in. None of my group was actually into that either but they didn't want to wait to sit at the place we meant to go and this place had availability at that moment. We sat at the large wine barrel table at the front door because there were 4 of us and I felt a way since I was told to make sure not to block other guests. Then why put us here? I'm getting even more mad. Thankfully, I was completely wrong. Once we sat and one of the lovely sisters came to speak with us, I knew this was going to be a good time. They both were so gracious and knowledgeable, but also friendly and super funny. We didn't get the wine tasting but I heard them giving the people behind us one and I actually think I would have enjoyed it as well. The cocktails we did get were strong and delicious. With hosts like these, I'd come back here all the time.

November 9, 2024 2:30PM…read more It does appear they have two stalls on the same street that you can order from. One side seemed to have more alcohol on display and the side I was on was more sandwich focused, but I'm pretty sure you can order the same things from both windows. Initially I was going to get the 21 - Fresh Sausage and Eggplant because I'm an eggplant lover... the lady at the counter was kind enough to let me know that the fresh sausage is actually rare, uncooked sausage and gave me a small piece to try. I was getting ready to get on a train that day and didn't want something that might not sit well with me, so I moved on to number 27 spicy salami and cream cheese. My partner got the number 1, ham, cream cheese and rocket salad. Both are very good sized and oh so delicious. The line moved quickly, so many options for decision paralysis. This is the place for schiacciate Florentine as recommended from friends who used to live here. Definitely would recommend to study up their menu before coming so it's easier to pick what you want. This is more of a stall and you grab and go, we stood around the sidewalk and inhaled our sandwiches. Watch out for the pigeons getting ready to take your crumbs too, you can see them on the ledge of the building getting ready to attack. A must visit for Florence.

Racist owner randomly took my table and chair while I was eating on it to give to a Caucasian European couple. l'm an Asian female by the way. I showed him that my boyfriend was waiting in line to purchase food and constantly assured him we were using them and that we were buying food. He still took my table and chair and said I'll give you another one- to which it down graded to eating off 3 short chairs. I told the European couple that it wasn't fair that the server took our table to give to them and they just smiled and dismissed me. Racism at its finest. Their sandwich is not good. Actually the sandwich shop across the street I' Grone De Ghiotti is way better with service and sandwich taste. Sadly I don't think this post will change the attitude of the owner.
