These guys went above and beyond for us, and I am so grateful. During the winter, after about a…read moreweek of snow sitting on our roof, we started to experience major leaking in one of our rooms. We called Pace to come out and take a look and give us an estimate. Ernie leveled with us that most of our roof was in rough shape, and that it would be in our best interest to fix everything now so we didn't run into worse problems down the road. (I'm always skeptical when home repair folks say this, but he showed us photos and video and yeah...it was bad.) Our situation was made more complicated because the previous owner had installed solar panels, and that made roof work impossible while they were still up there. It took us a very long time (like...ridiculously longer than it should have) to get the solar company to come and take the panels down so Ernie and his crew could get to work. In the meantime, Ernie came out and put a tarp up over a large hole so that we hopefully didn't run into more leaking while we had to wait for the roof to be fixed. He also found a way to do the work just as effectively but more cheaply, which we really appreciated. (Just removing the solar panels was $$$). When we were finally able to have the crew come out, they got the entire thing done in one morning. Ernie sent us before and after pictures (included here), and I can't believe how bad things were. The roof looks amazing now, and our leaking problem is fixed! Great communication, honest business, and solid work. We will have them back in the near future to replace the small portion of roof that didn't need to be immediately fixed, and will call on them for any other roof problems we have.
