The practice specializes in alternative regenerative treatments rather than surgery - which is exactly what I was searching for. They definitely seem to know their business and I scheduled an office visit to follow up. Looking forward to meeting them and starting my treatment plan.

My primary health care provider recommended ORIGEN Orthopedics/Optimal Health based on high praise…read moreand very positive comments from several of her patients. Pain in my knee, the cause confirmed by an MRI, convinced me to visit ORIGEN as an alternative to what today's typical medical protocol would include in the majority of cases, invasive surgical procedures, cortisone injections, prescription pain medications, etc. From the very start, my experience with Dr. John Tait, and his entire team, from the front office to the medical technicians, was professional, supportive and reassuring. Dr. Tait recommended platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy to promote healing in my knee, to alleviate the pain and to be proactive in preventing the progression of osteoporosis detected in its very earliest stage in my knee. The PRP therapy, followed by a series of laser treatments, provided the solution. Fast recovery. No more pain. Full range of motion and flexibility. Thank you to Dr. Tait and his amazing team - Jake, Alex, Ashanti, Denisha and Janette!

They are a procedure mill! All they are interested in is how many injections they can give you…read more They have insisted on giving me injections about every 4 months or so. They finally started giving me medication about 2 years ago, one of which actually worked, but stopped working after 9 months. Then they gave me an additional medication on top of the 1st one. The 2 together does blunt the pain a bit, but it's still around a 7 on the pain scale. Today I tried to refill one of my pills, but the pharmacy said I had to wait another day! As of tonight, I am out. I have 2 appointments tomorrow morning and I won't be able to go to the pharmacy until tomorrow mid afternoon! 2 pills I will miss because Dr Yang wouldn't let me have my pills on day 29. She doesn't care about my pain! I will avoid her in the future, and I suggest that others do too.

I went in for back pain and they recommended Kyphoplasty surgery which was scheduled for nine days…read morelater. They have 7 offices and one phone number for accessing all of them. It took most of the next day calling and leaving messages to try to get something for the pain. Never got to speak to a doctor, but was prescribed some Tramadol which barely helped. The day of the procedure, Dr Yang was late, gave me a five minute explanation of what was next and afterwards stood in the doorway of the recovery room and said it went well. Apparently, it didn't go well and the pain continued. Spent the next day in agony trying to reach someone there for help. One one thier Lackeys finally called back and said Dr Yang wanted some X-Rays and prescribed a pain pill called Journavx which my pharmacy doesn't carry. I called Pima Pain Center and was told that I would have to find it on my own. On the day the stitches were removed I asked Dr Shiller what was next and was told that was all they could do and good luck. So, if your goal is to visit a Medical Industrial Complex with horrible communication and one phone number, this is the place for you. Personally, I'm now going to Barrow Brain and Spine to see if they can actually help me.
