They refused to thoroughly clean her car and then had an attitude when confronted. The man got in her face and looked like he was going to assault her. She should have called the police on those thugs like I told her to. If you want your vehicle detailed by professionals then take it somewhere else because them disrespectful hoodlums don't know what they are doing.

Now, I don't know whether this was a typo on the cashier's part or on purpose, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Folks, please take a look at your receipt after paying, which I typically don't do, but I plan on doing going forward with this establishment. Now, whether it was a mistake or again on purpose, they've lost my trust when it comes to making sure my charge is proper & correct.

I contracted with District Detail primarily for cleaning the car, but told them I'd be happy with whatever improvement could be made with the body paint. Got the car back literally sparkling inside and out and they made tremendous improvement with the paint - and they were even able to re-clip the front bumper skirt that had gotten snagged and pulled out of place years ago! Steven kindly offered to try an additional product on some of the spots of missing paint which I'll be taking the car back for. Pricing was great and they were FAST; car was in at 7am and done by 2pm (the last time I took my car in for interior detailing at a chain company, they took nearly 3 days!) And I got the appointment for just a couple days following my call. Highly recommend Steven's work and their great customer service - Check them out! They agreed to take $5 off the Groupon price if I bought directly through them, so I did. They were able to come out the next day, which was great. On the phone, I was told to complete their form online, and they would call me back in a few minutes to confirm the appointment. It was a bit odd that I couldn't just provide the information on the phone, but not a big hassle. The gentleman called about 20 minutes past the time he was supposed to arrive and said he would be there in 5. In another 10 he arrived, but then he told me he forgot bags and he had to run back out and get them. Another 15 minutes later and he started. This delay wasn't a big deal for me because I was home all day, but if I was on a tighter timeline it would have been. The form online asked about dog hair - I selected no, because there was barely any. We had a seat cover over the entire backseat, and the dog only rode in it a few times. I removed the seat cover before the detailer came, and there was barely any hair on the seat. However, the gentleman told me that there was a fee for pet hair. When I asked how much, he told me $15-$20. I asked if it was prorated given the minimal amount and he then said it was a flat fee of $20, regardless. However, when he was done with the car, he told me it was $25. When I said he told me originally $15-$20, he said, "Well, it's $25. It's always been $25. You can see it on our website." Again, not a big issue, just frustrating. The work quality was great for most of the car, except for a few areas (between the side of the seat and the floor, between the seat and the center console, and high up on the driver's floor) that remained just as dirty as before. Between the seat side and the door is one of the first areas you see when you open the car and it just gave off a bad look. When I asked about the spots, he said, "Yeah, that's just an area we can't get with the vacuum hose." I told him that I'd gotten my cars detailed before and never had this issue, and he said, "Well, I can try with the brush." He got a brush and brushed the dirt out onto the floor. It was better, but still not great, and he left the dirt on the floor. He also didn't even clean out the sections on the other 4 seats with the brush. I feel like if this is what you do for a living, all day every day, you should have something small enough to get into the areas that every car has, between the seats and the floorboard. After he left, I ended up getting an old toothbrush and easily got that dirt out. The outside of the car was very well done, and everything was wiped down well inside, including most compartments. Everything inside was bagged up and put in the trunk, which was convenient. The only other issue is the most significant one - we had some dollar bills (between $5-$10) that we keep in a small compartment near the steering wheel for tolls and emergencies. This compartment was the only one in the entire car that wasn't completely emptied and wiped down (there were still coins and dust in it), but the dollar bills were missing. It wasn't much money, but it's the ethics of the issue. I paid a lot of money for this service (we're a student and military family), but (1) the narrow areas that weren't cleaned (2) the additional cost for the few pet hairs (and higher than I was quoted) (3) the missing dollar bills and (4) starting and finishing over half an hour late, all add up to a dissatisfied customer. Overall the car looks good, but I won't be hiring Positivity Detailing again.
