I'm visiting Prescott and had a crown pop off. I called my regular dentist since I will be gone a week and he told me to find a dentist to glue it back. I found Pro Solutions number and called. They gave me a 2 day appointment. They sent a email to fill out forms/insurance info. She told me the most it would cost if $50. The next day I got a call saying then needed my insurance right away to check the coverage. Then she told me they needed to do X-rays and this would count as one of my twice a year xray and cleaning appointments. I asked why this wasn't told yesterday? She was rude an said that if I didn't want it to be turned into the insurance company now I would be charged $100. I cancelled the appointment and will go to my regualr dentist when I get home. This was not a good experience at all. I would look elsewhere. read more

I was visiting my mother in Prescott, AZ and I had a tooth that needed to be pulled. Let me tell you ... I am NOT a big fan of going to the dentist, but it had to be pulled. Dr. Grimmer was absolutely fantastic. Throughout the procedure he made sure I was ok. He and his "partner in crime" were a great team. Poor communication from dentist and staff. Was in for a routine cleaning and told hygienist that it felt like I may have a loose crown on my lower tooth. See had the dentist stop by and he wiggled my tooth and told me that we will keep a eye on it. I was unaware that there was any charge for that 10 second check. When I received my bill in the mail I was charged $54 dollars and they reported to my insurance code D0120 (Periotic oral exam evaluation). I don't know but I would believe that a exam is more than wiggling a tooth $54 for it. My take away is to be sure you know what they are charging you especially if it is coming out of your pocket. read more

As a "new to the area" patient with an emergency e.g. "painful dental situation" it was not without my usual trepidation that I happened upon the offices of "Pro Solutions Dental". I am glad I did. I was immediately ( on the same day as initially enquiring ) given an emergency appointment with Dr. Farnsworth whose manner and skill became immediately apparent to me. Although a bad tooth was quite probably in need of extraction, Dr. Farnsworth explained to me the few options that were available to me in an attempt to save the tooth which although certainly more costly than a simple extraction, was the preferred way to proceed. While waiting the requisite number of days subsequent to the initial visit I unfortunately still had pain and sensitivity after the "prepping" for a proposed root canal though the tooth itself was actually "cracked". It was then determined that extraction was the most expedient, if not cosmetically optimal choice. Although I had paid during the first visit for the proposed surgery needed to "save" the tooth, the decision to go ahead with extraction the office and Dr. Farnsworth informed me that I actually had a "credit" back given the extraction was less expensive than attempting to "save" the tooth. This is the kind of forthright honesty and "fair dealing" that only those of us who actually remember years past when this kind of combination of integrity and competence were considered the norm. Sadly, today it is not. Dr. Farnsworth's care is the exception, and harkens back to a time where practitioners "cared" and you knew it. I cannot say enough positive things about not only Dr. Farnsworth and accompanying staff, but the treatment I received in not one but two emergency appointments they made happen while accommodating my emergency situation on a Friday P.M. This just after they had a full office relocation! In other words. I can't recommend the office of Dr. Campbell and particularly Dr. Farnsworth highly enough. I met with Dr Rick Farnsworth and we determined I needed a root canal. I made a 3 hour appointment and he removed the old crown, did the root canal, then made and installed a new crown. No pain even after the Novocain wore off and my toothache is gone. I really like this guy! read more

I've been going to Dr Campbell since he started his practice in Prescott. I've had many different services by Dr Campbell. His office is extremely efficient and organized. Today, I was worked in because I had broken a part of a tooth on a back molar. I needed to have the adjoining filling replaced. His injection technique is amazingly painless. I hardly know he's done it except I'm starting to feel it taking effect. I was walking out of the office in exactly 55 minutes with minimal fuss & the sedation starting to wear off. My bite is perfect! I recommend him highly. I don't delay to call his office although I rarely have urgent needs & keep my every 6 month cleanings on schedule. read more

By far the worst experience with a dentist in my life. Unprofessional- short tempered with assistant. He seemed more interested in making vacation plans to Cabo while working on me. Clumsy. He and assist dropped tools and the temporary crown on the floor. He blew the crown off with air and then glued it in my mouth. Equipment not working or not available. The computer didn't work at the chair I was in. So he took a picture of my tooth with his iPhone, showed me an out of focus, worthless picture. The assistant repeatedly had to go to other stations to get the correct tool. Poor job. Upper crown has a huge gap between the tooth in front. No way I would go back to get it fixed, especially after this review. read more

Second time now that I've had this dental office not do what they say they are going to do. I recently decided to hold off on having dental implants but still have a nearly $1,700.00 credit with them. I called them nearly 2 weeks ago about my decision and they said they would send me a check for the amount of the credit. I still haven't received it and am now being told that they sent it to the wrong address and everyone is out because of spring break so no one in this office can do ANYTHING until they get back next week. Why I chose Dr Campbell. After moving from out of state and not having regular dental care for a number of years and reasons I was referred to Dr. Campbell from a friend. I was in pain from a tooth, but I knew I would be needing a lot of dental care in my future. I was very impressed by his willingness to share a bit of himself and why he got started in dentistry. I describe him like this...He's focused, a practicing educator with a great deal of knowledge, skill and experience. He is friendly, polite and a businessman with his clients as his top priority. I feel that he has taken dentistry to an entirely new level. I can see his staff is very respectful of him which transcends directly to every single patient. Everyone is authentically friendly and listens. Dr Campbell, he knows his stuff! Very tech savvy and technology is a good thing, up to date on the latest procedures and has the equipment to make it happen quickly and with the least amount of pain, if any. I'll be honest, I wasn't exactly gung-ho about all I was being educated on with the condition of my mouth, however, I knew I needed to go in a positive direction and with his counsel I made that decision to go forth. I am now a few months into making my mouth healthy with the help of Dr Campbell and his staff. By the time this is over, I will have gone through the full spectrum of dental, from crowns, fillings, extractions, deep cleanings, sinus lift and implants. No more waiting for 2 weeks for a crown. He makes them there at the office while you are still in the chair! Impressive right? The teeth look just as impressive and feel like they've been in your mouth your whole life. I am now 2 weeks post surgery in preparation for implants. My surgery included several extractions, a sinus lift and posts inserted for the implants. That experience was not bad either. I put more fear into that procedure than was needed. The procedure itself, I don't remember at all, thus, zero pain and post procedure was very tolerable with ibuprofen and Tylenol. All in all, it was a good experience and now to wait for everything to heal before the implants go in. I am so happy and glad to have gotten this started. I wanted to share my experience more than just a review because if you are thinking of having some work done or if you have great teeth and want to have a group of people you can trust, then Pro Solutions is it. After posting my less-then-flattering review, I was contacted by Dr. Campbell's office and was offered the opportunity to revisit the clinic and have the dentist go over my chart with me. I declined as that was done during my initial visit and I've found a dentist that I'm very comfortable with. It was then suggested that my current dentist doesn't use as modern equipment as Dr. Campbell's office uses, therefore he didn't detect the cavities that Dr. Campbell (and his partner) saw. Really? At any rate, the caller was very concerned about the impression that I got after visiting the office and she just wanted to make things right. I appreciated her call and offered to edit my review.
