I am a monthly subscriber to the soapy Joe's car wash service. I'm an Uber driver so I get at least…read morefour car washes a month. This particular location is by far the worst level of service. The RFID reader doesn't read my sticker more than half the time. Sometimes workers will suggest relocating the sticker. I tell them that this is already the third location. I wonder which magic location they will pick next. But the thing I hate the most about this particular location, the drying service at the end and the vacuum cleaners. I used to think the drying service was OK until I went to other locations. For example, at the Carlsbad location, my car comes out almost completely dry. Here it is droplets of water all over. They really don't seem to care about how strong the vacuums are. And best, the vacuums are decent. At worst, the vacuums are completely worthless. There's no rhyme or reason but it's clear that no one is keeping up on that. Super annoying when you pick a spot to vacuum your car and you find out that the vacuums in question are completely worthless.

The value is fantastic as I could go back as much as I want to but I have not had the chance yet and only a little over a week before it expires. The service is very good, friendly staff, attentive, take time to answer questions and help you when needed. The location is ok, on the corner of Melrose right off the 78, in a strip mall with several businesses, mostly eating establishments. The wash itself is ok, it just doesn't get off all bug goo, and sap, and stuff like that. It looks good, but not as good as if someone hand washes or hand dries it off for you. The price is comparative to a place where they dry and vacuum it for you, so I don't see the draw where you have to do your own labor and they charge you for it. Most of the vacuums work well, but there are a few with no suction at all. The spaces are cramped, but as long as the person next to you does not have their door all the way open and exactly across from yours, you should be fine. There were too many people, so people coming out of the wash had to leave, they could not find a spot to vacuum and try their cars off. If you need a quick wash, and don't mind doing the work on your car then this is the place for you. If you need full service, then you have to go somewhere else.

I was excited to find someone that would actually wash and "hand wax" the car, as he advertises for $30 so I called Alex and asked him a few questions. I am a detail as a hobby myself but with my busy schedule don't have time to wash my own cars. He does not rinse the car with water so and any washing will be him spraying either water or quick detail spray or as he calls it "wax" and just rubbing in the dirt onto your cars paint, this is not a hand wax that most others would charge from $60-$100 to do. I had just finished polishing my car and correcting my paint a few weeks prior to Alex's visit and now my car is full of scratches from when he came. Secondly, he left my wheel wells full of mud and when I told him about it he said "oh we will get that next time" Finally, when he finished washing the cars ( two) rain started pouring and I quickly pulled the cars into the garage. He then dared to say "Don't worry, the car will absorb the water and it will look like new" He did not even offer to dry the car after the rain hit the just "washed" cars. Regardless, I told him I was not happy at all but he then took the $70 dollars and left. Needed to share this so this steers you a different direction if you are planning to let this man touch your car. See pics attached I took when he left.

The quality and service you'd receive when Arcos comes to you to give your car that TLC it needs. Danny has well over 15 years of experience when it comes to detailing. He should be known as "King of the Detail", because of his experience, and how tedious he is. Danny will also go that extra step to assure you, to give you that comfort of knowing you're receiving a quality service. Arcos Wash also stands behind their work, so you can rest easy knowing they will always be there for you. Another thing that makes this stand out is that he is also mobile. The man delivers his service also, meaning why leave the comforts of home when you have this option. What makes Danny and Arcos Wash superior is they will tackle any type of vehicle. What I mean by that it's not only your car, but your truck, bike, jet ski, or RV. There is no challenge or obstacle to great. If you want that sub par work, where you're constantly going back because of issues, go to your local car wash.
