I had such a service, very reliable, for many years. Life was good. But a few months ago, my guy, Dan, decided it was time to retire. Now, who do I go to? Who can I trust? I am not a big fan of large corporations with fancy trucks and inflated prices. Luckily for me, there appears to be a small, local brotherhood of self-employed bug guys who support each other, respect each other, and make sure their customers are well taken care of. My Dan gave me names. Long story short, James of Tru Pest Solutions was on that short list. For one thing, James hopefully won't be going anywhere for quite a while. He's much younger and energetic, a hard worker who told me he has been in this business for 17 years already. He impressed me with his kind, respectful, soft-spoken manner. And he assured me that whatever Dan had charged me, he would continue. Then he rolled up his sleeves and got to work. I watched as he roamed around my entire yard, patio, and big front porch, spraying with chemicals that will not harm my dog or my plants, and brushing down the spider webs in the nooks and crannies with his long handled duster. I am very pleased. I have a huge jungle of vegetable and flower gardens, so I know a new generation of bugs and spiders will be back in force by the time he returns.
