Not good at all. I came In as a walk in for a full set, and a gel pedi. I was sat right away! Awesome! i went to the pedi chair and an older lady came and started drawing some warm water and handed me a menu to look over and chose which pedi I wanted. I picked the 2nd one I think it was like $57 or so. As she worked on me another lady came up and she was going to start on my nails. I showed her what I was wanting and she said we would have a do some cat eye, I said sounds good! So as both lady's are working I am looking around and noticing that they seem busy. ALOT of employees all talking to each other, and across the salon to each other, and I start noticing how loud it was, also I started noticing that a lot of them are walking around eating and trying each others drinks and food. It was all a bit over stimulating. The lady working on my hands in the mean time is hardly paying any attention to what she was doing with me, she stopped so many times to carry on a conversation with another coworker behind me. I would look down to my hands every so often and she was leaving them so long and making them so thick and chunky. I thought surly she will correct these. So the lady working on my feet is just about done. (She was great) and the lady working on my hands tells me to wash my hands and meet me at her desk. So I do. She gets to work with her drill and tools and she is thinning them out a little and trimming them down a smidge. Meanwhile having full blown conversations with her coworkers. Never once asked me about length or shape. Not once. She does a half ass paint. Job on them, writes me up a ticket (that I can't understand) and said pay at the counter. It's whatever, I just want to go home at this point. I get to the counter. Why was my bill $140???? For some shitty nails. They were nothin fancy. No airbrush, no 3D, no gems or nail art. Just a shitty cat eye French. They were way too long, they were super thick, and lumpy in some spots. Also!!!!!!! They advertise 10% off for 1st time guest. They knew I was from out of town, because they asked me where I was from. They did not give me any discount. Listen I know I should have said something. I was having an awful day, that's why i was treating myself in the first place. I just wanted to go. I went home and filed my nails down to a Much better length, and am just going to have to deal with them for a bit. This area has plenty of Other places to get your nails done. I highly suggest you go somewhere else. This place was WAY over priced. I think they screw there customers, vibe was not good, why was everyone eating and sharing food. And don't care much about what they are doing with a client right in-front of them. read more

I was really disappointed today. I've been coming there for over a year. The person I did not show me the menu which what I wanted, but he just assumed I did not get the full treatment that I usually get it was cheaper, but I was not satisfied. Just thought you should know. Now normally I sign in but not this time. read more

I went on Mother's Day because they were the only place open in the area and they were taking walk ins. I thought it would be great because they were PACKED!! But they were just okay. It was my first time here and the man that did my nails was SO NICE!!! I would give him 5 stars just for customer service alone. My nails started lifting from the acrylic just a couple of days later as well as the polish chipping and I paid for gel polish. But I am assuming the polish was old because when I got home and got a good look at the polish, it looked like bubbles or something. I'm not sure about this place. read more

Why does this place only have 3 stars? I travel for work, I've been in Va for 2 months, gone to a couple nail salons, THEY WERE HORRIBLE and the work looked amateurish! I found pro nails and OMG what a relief! I LOVE MY NAILS!! Thank you PRO NAILS, I will be back! read more

This place gets busy fast so I would suggest maybe making an appointment as the first time I attempted a walk in I had to leave before I could get seen and the second time the actual time spent in chair was longer than I am used to, but it was WELL worth it! Staff was friendly and paid great attention to detail, my nails were exactly what I wanted when I walked out. I will definitely be returning. read more

I love going to Pro Nails. My nails and eyebrows always look great. I have received discounts and they are always very nice to me.

My nails look awful, the man who did my nails was rude and inattentive. One nail broke less than a week after getting them done and others are peeling and crooked. Waste of money! read more

First let me say Tammy does an amazing job with eyebrows!! I've been a faithful customer with them for a while but the service and quality has just gotten worse and worse. The last few times, the gel coat they use on the top looks like they tried to make it stretch by adding something because it didn't cover my nails all the way. If someone is paying you (they are not cheap lol), they pay for quality products. They also forced me to get my nails and feet done at the same time, as if they were were running a factory. Quantity over quality. It's a spa, just wait until I finish my pedicure. I give people the benefit of the doubt but They've done this the last two times I've went‍. Lastly, and most important. I got a pedicure the last time I went and thanks to them my reward was a $500 podiatrist bill and antibiotics. Do not let them do anything to an ingrown toenail because you will leave in much worse shape than you came in!! I felt discomfort leaving, but woke up the next day in PAIN. read more

I am still on the hunt for a great nail salon. Pro Nails is located in the shopping center with KMart - across from Walmart. The first time I came to ProNails, I signed in for a pedicure on a Saturday morning. I realize the weekends are very busy for salons and I anticipate waiting. However, when I signed in, I asked one of the ladies how long it would be. She said, "a few minutes". Okay, fine. I take "a few minutes" = 10 or 15 AT MOST! At 15 minutes after, I asked a different lady how long she thought it would be. She said, "20 minutes!". Augh, I just got up in left. Granted, my patience that morning was already blown, but if I had been told there was a 35 minute wait from the beginning, I could have done a few errands and came back. My second try at ProNails was only because I cannot find a good nail salon around here. I went during the week and immediately got in for a pedicure. It was $20 and well worth it. The salon appears clean and the staff professional. I might just stick w/ ProNails because I am tired of jumping from salon to salon. They are also very reasonably priced. read more

Came from out of town. I got a fill and shape change and I was way over due. Short wait, but I came on a Sunday, they were busy and I didn't have an appointment. Tony did my nails, he was very nice, attentive and did everything exactly as I asked. He took his time and was very precise. I appreciated his accuracy and precision. I would definitely recommend for Manicures. Best part of all, is that an acrylic fill and shape change with gel polish only came to $30! read more

This is my second time trying this place. Is a long wait even when you get there when they open. They move very slow. If you get the ladies to do your pedi it will be money wasted. The two older gentlemen do a phenomenal job at taking their time and paying attention to your toe nails and how they look. One thing I didn't like is that the deluxe pedi didn't even come with a wax service. Deluxe is simply a small scrub and a massage, I get that with a regular pedi anywhere else. Very disappointed at this place, gave a second chance but will not be coming back. Taking the long drive to Richmond to get the service I'm looking for. read more

I am not from around here but I need my nails done and this place was recommended. I will say I was a little nervous when I read the reviews but I got there when they open (12:00) and they were already open and I only waited 15 min and I got a Manicure and pedicure. They did a good job. ****just be there when they open or it will be a 30 min to hour wait**** read more

Don't go here unless you don't mind waiting hours to get in a chair. Went in for a fill in and was very disappointed with the result. Tammy started on my nails then had another guy finish them who completely ruined the shape that I wanted which was coffin tip. Instead they came out looking fat and round. He was on the phone the whole time and I could clearly tell he didn't care how my nails looked. The only people who know how to do a good job at acrylic nails in there are Tony and Tammy. I didn't ask for them to fix them because I knew it would be another hour wait because there were so many people waiting. Won't be going back. read more

These folks do a great job. I have yet to have an experience in which I was disappointed in my nails. Weeks later I'm still happy with my nails. The only downfall is that they stay busy and most likely than not the wait is long. I rather wait for quality work than get poor service. read more

Horrible service. I went in here on my lunch break to get an eyebrow wax and was told the wait would be 30 minutes. Fine. They weren't that busy so after 30 minutes I asked if they would please serve me because I had to get back to work. They said yes so I went back. They never came and ignored me. They typically have poor attitudes when I come in here, are slow, and treat customers badly, but this was just awful. I'll never be back. Please note, it's been years since I've left a review on here. read more

They did an absolutely amazing job. I moved to the area about two years ago and normally commuted to Richmond to get my nails and brows done because I couldn't find anyone close with good reviews. I found pro nails here and I absolutely love them my only complaint would be they didn't cool the wax at least a little before putting it on my skin and it was really hot. Everything turned out nice though I will definitely be going back!!! read more

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, HAD TO KEEP ASKING ABOUT GETTING MY EYEBROWS DONE, this was my 1st time going and will never go back, very rude as well, I don't know the full language you people talk but I can understand bit and pieces and I heard what Tammy said, and I also don't appreciate you all calling me in the back to tell me to come back when I get off work, I get off at 8pm you going to stay open, you all have a book to sign in and you never ever looked to see who was next, you all focus on people getting nails done, but don't care about your other services, I will never come back. read more

I went to this salon to get a pedicure right before Thanksgiving. I got an older lady and she was, obviously, not up to the task. When she did the massage, it lasted about 2 seconds. I seriously did not realize she even did it. I brought up that there was no massage and she got an attitude... as did the person who had to translate for her. Instead of actually doing the massage, she started trimming back my cuticles AGAIN. She ended up doing a LOT of damage on my two big toes. I STILL cannot wear closed toe shoes without pain. That woman truly injured my feet and, I'm pretty sure, she did it on purpose because she was angry with me. If I'd have known how long this pain was going to last, I'd have documented it with a doctor and taken them to court. They shouldn't have been able to get away with it. Please think twice before going to this salon. I used to get a pedicure once a month and this place made me afraid to ever go again. read more

Ok, new to the area and decided to try out a nail salon. I looked at the reviews and made the decision to try them out. First and foremost the people who work there are nice except the older woman who did my pedicure. It was a waste of time, really I could of did a better job by myself. The whole point for me is the professional color application of the nail polish and the foot massage that was supposed to go with the pedicure. Epic failure! Foot massage was non existent and the nail-polish was in my cuticles. I wanted a eye-brow wax afterward and before all my nails where painted I was moved to the back to get the wax and my toes painted which I couldn't see laying down, The woman who waxed my brows was nice but she was rushing, What I found weird lying in the chair is that my brows are thin but I don't grow hair on my lids. Yes, she was waxing my lids. Please note the picture attached when she applied the wax strip or paper? It really stung when removed. I thought it was a temporary pain as waxing can sometimes feel like that but when I left the shop I notice my lid was red, VERY RED. End result eyelid burnt. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I've been going here for nearly 5 years and lately the service has been terrible. The new lady Lee must be a relative but she does not know what she's doing with manicures or pedicures. Customers are constantly correcting her on what she's doing with their feet. I should not have to tell you repeatedly to clip my nails down and get the dead skin off of my feet. Then they start talking about PAYING CUSTOMERS in their native tongue, upcharge you to show u it's their rules. U have 2 shut up n take it or dont go there. I choose the latter....NEVER AGAIN.
