Agrees to $10 "Service fee" per certificate on the phone on a certificate over 6 month's on the phone then the lady in charge refuses to honor that illegal fee and charges 50% even that when florida law is extremely clear that the certificate is worth 100% of face value and does not expire in 6 months. Predatory tactics imposed in an area where the demographic is primary elderly. https://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Statutes/2025/501.95 For reference the certificate was issued after this statute became law. Will be filing a complaint with Florida consumer protection division. Feel bad for the people who work for this establishment, staff is awesome other then the " management " it made a relaxing gift into a stressful endeavor and being scammed. Manager said that we didn't need to pay after taking the gift certificates that they already marked $20 on each. Total services received $70 for 2x $40. Ryan, the law is the law and you can not override. Federal and state laws via " internal policy" , actions like that are grounds for loss of business licenses, civil and potentially criminal liabilities. Ownership is welcome to reach out.
