I haven't said much about the person we think of as "our contractor" for kitchen, bathrooms, and more. I suppose that's because he does such great work that I've kept him low-profile so he'll have time for our house. But that's rather selfish of me, so I'll let on that he is the owner of Pro Mech Services, Edwardsville.
Sometimes, a little description of a contractor's experience and style is helpful. He started as a licensed plumber, but enjoys woodworking. He values quality components, yet charges fairly for his services. He warned us about potential pricey problems we might encounter, but project costs still came in on budget. He may not get to a job quickly because of others ahead in the queue, but when he does, the work has been done very well. I imagine he plans and rethinks things during his nighttime dreaming, because often some tweak or slightly better solution appears when I'm not expecting it. He's as friendly as anyone I've ever met in building trades, and he takes seriously this client's ideas and feedback.
If you want the quickest or cheapest option possible, then I'd advise you not to contact him. But if you have time for a project to develop and reach completion, and ability to pay for more than the most basic solutions, then I highly recommend him, especially for kitchen and bathroom renovations, Thanks, Pro Mech Services (promechservices@outlook.com) for some mighty-fine home upgrades! read more
