I want to be clear and honest about my experience. I am a good-hearted person, and I still tipped because I understand how sensitive business can be. However, that does not change the fact that I am not satisfied with the service I received. The manicure was rushed, with a clear lack of attention to detail especially around my cuticles and the overall finish. Basic hygiene standards were also not followed, as my hands were not washed or sanitized before the service began. The buffing was done in a rushed and careless manner. I raised my concerns twice during the service, but they were not properly addressed. There was little regard for how I felt as a customer. I was also told that the nails "look okay," which is not acceptable for a paid professional service. Although she attempted to fix the nails, the result is still poor and inconsistent. Additionally, I clearly communicated what I wanted, yet acrylic was applied against my preference, which is unacceptable. This falls below professional standards. I am not happy with the service, and I expect this to be addressed appropriately either by correcting the work properly or issuing a refund. Based on this experience, I would not advise or refer anyone to this business. read more

Nice people.. but I have had so many nails fall off within days of getting them done. I went in yesterday and he fixed them for free and now ANOTHER nail has come off. I cant keep going in every day or two to have them fixed, as I have things I have to do.. and these should be lasting at least two weeks anyway. At this point I would rather just have my money back because I have spent so much time getting them fixed. I think they need to either use better products or better technique. I hate complaining but this just feels a bit ridiculous at this point. This happened to me last time but I thought it was just a fluke.. now its becoming an ongoing pattern and I will be switching salons. read more

When I arrived, there was no one there, but he told me that his client was running late. I used to come to this salon many years ago and was always pleased with the results. But... that being said I didn't go for a few years and started back and the last 2 appointments had horrible results. My nails lift or fell off over only a week. I went in today and they offered no resolution except to have the same person fix my nails who messed them up to begin with. I typically won't leave reviews but this experience was pretty bad. Just got my nails done here and won't be coming back. Very rude which I can deal with- I don't care about manners and customer service much, as long as my nails are done right. First, I did NOT want my nails short and she didn't even ask, just filed them to nubs. Then I got moved to another technician because she had an appt. My gel manicure (3 coats) was done in less than 10 minutes and they're uneven and bulky. I understand with 3 coats because it was a lighter color I should expect them to be thicker but they shouldn't be bulgy and uneven like this. Pedicure was a little better than the butchered manicure but nails were cut at uneven lengths and the shapes weren't all the same either... Very hard to find a good nail but I've never found one this bad either. read more

I found this place on Yelp and they told me that they do pedicures for $12 ( spa for $16). I flew there as soon as I heard the price. They had many people working which worked out well because I was joined by two other friends. We didn't have to make an appointment or hope that they would accept all of us. Pro Look Hair and Nails is a small nail salon located on Sherman Way and Mason and I have been going there for years. The salon is located in a small shopping center therefore they have limited parking spaces. When I walked in the employees smiled and welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. I saw different shades of nail polish, hair treatments, and spa chairs throughout the salon. The customers where sitting relaxing on the massage chair while they were getting their nails done. The salon also had products they sale like; nail polish, blow dryers, sandals, and hair products. The salon is filled with noise and unless its empty it is not quiet. The salon has a good atmosphere because I heard women socializing and joking around with the workers. There was a lot of laughter and the workers seemed to try to talk to their customers to make them feel comfortable. The noise that truly annoyed me was the blow dryer because it was very noise and its hard to hear what people are trying to tell you. There is definitely a lot of noise in the salon so if your looking for a quiet place this isn't the place because there is always laughter and low music playing in the background. One of the reason why I like coming to this salon is because of the way they wax my eyebrows. They give me a great shape in my eyebrows that I love and thats why I come back. There waxing is also very inexpensive since it is only 9 dollars for eyebrow waxing. When I was getting my eyebrows done I felt the hot wax touch my forehead and my the excessive hair coming off. I felt when she was the tweezers pinching my eyebrow hairs when the lady was plucking my eyebrows. The one negative thing about my experience here was that when the lady was massaging my eyebrows she was very rough and it was wasn't relaxing at all. It felt painful because she was pushing the sides of my head to much. I also didn't like the smells when I walked in because it smelled of nail polish, hair dye, and nail polish remover. These is what the salon usually what the salon smells but this time it felt like someone had spilled a container of nail polish remover. Overall i do recommend this place because the staff is friendly and you always feel welcomed. They also provided services like waxing, manicures, pedicures, facials, and hair cuts. If your looking for a places that does amazing eyebrows for a good price you should check Pro Hair and Nails. The person I recommend for eyebrows is Linda because she takes her time and does not rush with her work. The reason why I recommend this salon is because they have great customer service and great prices. This salon was recently remodeled and they have amazing spa chair where you can get your pedicure done. I also like the fact that they are never extremely packed so you never have to wait hours to get your nails or eyebrows done. This place is a great place to go with your friends and just relax and socialize. The one thing I didn't like was the strong nail polish remover and the fact I couldn't find parking. This place has its bad and good but mostly good so i think people should check it out. read more

First off they don't even deserve 1 star!!!!! I am so mad right now I made an appointment days ago for 5pm. I walk in and I was told one of my girls left home because she was sick no phone call no follow up to confirm. Then I was sat down to get my gel pedi lady kept consistently telling me my appointment was at 4 when I clearly made it at 5!!!! I walked out of there with my feet soaking wet because an appointment book was being shoved in my face! This salon used to be good when I went for full sets 7 years ago. I got a full set a couple weeks ago and it was the worst ever. Henry painted my nails and they were so streaky and see through but I was so frustrated after sitting next to the door with the wind blowing at 7pm and the other ladies constantly kept trying to up sell me on everything most of my visit. I went the next day to get the nails re-polished and paid for it but then THREE days later the acrylics were breaking and lifting plus the nail polish was chipping. It would not be tasteful or appropriate for me to put up a picture of my ingrown toe nail. But what is extremely appropriate and tasteful is my full recommendation of their service and attitude and price!! I have been going around town for many months to get my ingrown toe nail problem fixed. I wasn't successful because of two things, not having insurance that covers this and the money to pay cash for to a doctor. Cheapest $250! Kim was extremely helpful, she said she would help me and take away excruciating pain I was suffering for so long. She warned me with everything I needed to know! I agreed to all her terms and conditions (no, I did not sign any documents, lol), she took a picture of my toe and the lady who was working on my toe started working. I expected pain, I got that for sure, I expected burning sensation, I got that as well. BUT! After that, I got pain free which I was looking for many many months. Thank you to both of the ladies that helped me and the other ones who laughed at me, (I will not get into it, it was embarrassing), but it was a fun laugh for all of us. I decided to start coming to this salon several months ago since it's close to home. It's not the fanciest place, but the people are nice and they do a good job. Today I witnessed a really bad interaction between a customer and a salon owner. They had a dispute and the customer wanted her money back. I'm not sure who's wrong or right, but for nearly 40 minutes they were arguing, yelling and using profanity. The salon owner disregarded all the other customers that were getting their nails done. It was very disruptive, disrespectful and petty to argue for such a long time for $20. After she left they were talking amongst each other, but yelling loudly. I don't think I'm coming back and I find this very unprofessional and disrespectful to other paying clients. In addition, they did a very lousy job on my toes. read more
