I keep coming back again and again to Source for Sports…read more They consistently have what we need for hockey when other larger retailers are out. And I've yet to see a better price elsewhere! Just today we needed a second pair of compression pants for my hockey kiddo and I got two pairs on clearance here for $20 when they were $70+ just down the street at Sport Check. Plus, we totally lucked out and got help today from Amber (I think???) longtime hockey player who has worked here for years and still picks up the occasional shift. She's baked our skates, fixed stance issues, custom fit super feet, and been all around awesome for us on numerous visits. Protein - prepay for skate sharpenings here to save money and to save time for drop off/pick up! We also get names screened onto jerseys here - whether for soccer or hockey, we've never had a problem with the cresting coming off. We have had an oopsie what they crested but it was fixed quickly and not the end of the world. See you soon Source for Sports, see you soon!

I especially am fond of the service department where I have taken my bikes in for tune ups and flat tires. They are always able to get the work done in a timely manner and the price is way better than other shops i. St. Albert. The store itself sells all things sports, from bicycles to hockey equipment and everything in between they have a good selection and their prices are competitive when I have been looking for a product. The staff is always really great. They are helpful and kind and that makes the whole experience all around great. Tons of parking too, what more could you ask for?

I needed to get a present for a friend who is insane about hockey, so I went to Game On Sports,…read morehoping I would find her something. I'm not a hockey fan at all, so I had never been in this store before. A friendly worker (maybe owner) greeted me, when I walked in. This place was full of sports merchandise--mostly hockey, but there was some football and a bit of soccer stuff too. I really like the t-shirts of old school football teams. They were made so they looked "vintage." Lots of jerseys, hoodies, t-shirts, and a whole lot of caps lined the walls. There were a few large displays of Oilers merchandise, like yo-yos, keychains, mugs, pucks, clocks, toy cars--pretty much anything you can think of. I ended up getting my friend an Oilers t-shirt and a toothbrush. I mean, who doesn't want to put the Oilers in their mouth? Okay, bad joke.

Was here yesterday and had excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service by Faith. She helped me…read morefind a good Oiler's hat, taught me about sizes ( a small-medium, hmm), and what the different manufacturers do different. I learned a lot, and am grateful. Unfortunately they didn't have the Oiler's hat that I wanted and she recommended another place. She was helping another person before me and listening to her you can tell she is passionate and knows her stuff. Only issue, the company cuts costs and doesn't give business cards at this store. Cheap, and not a real cost cutter, and the signed Oiler's gear got sent to the Oiler's store in Kingsway. Which is a joke and we won't go back due to the horrible lack of service, or even acknowledgement that there are actual shopping customers in that store (4 of us). This place, though, was great! Friendly and superior service. Someone get this lady, Faith, to train other staff at other stores. OR fire those ASSHATS at the Oiler's store in Kingsway and get her in there.

A hidden sports store. I only seen the signs and heard this place by word of mouth. The place sells…read morecamping gear, clothes, and equipment like sportschek but has more outdoor equipment than sports gear. The atmosphere to me has this cabin color vibes which feels nice. I was surprised they sell the car attachment tent structures because I've been looking at these online. It's good to see them in person to see if it's actually the fit you'd like to use. Lots of staff nearby to help which is great. Parking here is very small for a large shop. However, I'm not sure many people are aware of this store. This would definitely be a store I'd come to if I couldn't find gear and equipment near my retail stores. Recommended for anyone looking to get camping, hiking, or outdoor gear.

Prices are high, like all other outdoor stores in Edmonton (seriously, what is with that?) but the service cannot be beat. Don't get me wrong. I also like M.E.C. & Cabela's but the attention to detail and customer assistance at Campers Billage cannot be beat! Whether you're looking for some base layer clothing or the perfect cast iron pan/griddle, you will find it here! I really like their children's section for winter wear & mitts (though my heart belongs to Cabela's for their waterproof Muck boots). This is also my family's go to store for great quality waterproof sandals. The hubs & I just picked up a pair each of Keen'a covered toe sandals for our trips this summer. Dave (in shoes) couldn't have been more helpful or knowledgeable. If you've ever show shopped at Nordstrom's in the states, Dave is that quality of a salesperson. See you soon Camper's Village (well, as soon as my wallet lets me).
