I ignored the sign but then decided to ask the staff for clarification. I know how to substitute exercises for the machines I supposedly can't use, but this is a VERY POOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. I have been a Planet Fitness member for a few years and have always been an advocate of the franchise. I will no longer be a proud member of the franchise and will never give a positive "word of mouth" for it.

I spoke to Brad (previous owner) and decided the hours alone were a better fit for me. Fast forward to 2022 and I kind of look at this place as the standard that I judge other gyms by. Eric (current owner) takes great care of everything and tries to keep the equipment up to date and serviced when necessary. There are a couple groups that compete from this gym and they're always looking to add new folks. The general feel is awesome and everyone is pretty friendly. As far as additional services, child care is usually covered from 5-8pm, but there is a kids room for them to hang out in when you're working out. During COVID the classes were shut down, however, Zumba has come back recently, and seems to be doing well. There are usually shirts, hats, and other RI clothes available for purchase, if you'd like. Overall I travel a lot and visit gyms all over the state, and I always seem to look forward to getting back to this place. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
