There is a schedule of activities to do but you are gently told to do what you want and take what you want from the retreat. I really enjoyed the yoga, meditation and making vision board. This is a unique experience because you meet the most amazing women and the sense of community was much needed.

We also got to meet Teresa at our retreat as well - she is the owner of the location. This is the perfect yoga/ relaxation retreat if you want to get away and recharge. There are multiple workshops and yoga classes and they also have a fun art and craft activities as well. It's a great place to meet other women, create friendships and bond in nature. It is located away from the city and is surrounded by trees. It is a very relaxing location. Shout out to Dana who gave the most amazing massage ever! Also a huge shout out to Angel as well who is the retreat chef. The food here was so tasty and fresh! I get food anxiety because I am vegetarian and I hate going places where I don't have anything to eat. This place has plenty of options for vegetarians and others with different dietary needs. My friend and I had so much fun here, I am so glad she found it and we were able to go together! I do wish they had some sort of charging station at the retreat as it would have been so helpful since the nearest one is about 30 miles away. All in all I would definitely recommend this retreat to others that are interested!

A truly beautiful spiritual experience for me. I did the 10 day silent retreat in May and…read moreabsolutely loved it. I meditated a lot and it was one of the few times in my adult life I've ever felt such a deep level of peace in my mind and soul. The food was also phenomenal and I'm not even usually a vegetarian. This is the real deal for a spiritual retreat not just some frou-frou trendy thing for soft spoiled people wanting a spa experience, their ego catered to and needing their hand held throughout. It was transforming for me. I was there on my own spiritual journey and it was beautiful. I brought nicotine lozenges because I'd been a 30 year pack a day smoker and used those and I simply never smoked again after I left because I no longer desired to. Much spiritual clarity was found within as I sat still within nature and myself. I am going back for a 3 week silent retreat this coming May for more stillness and quiet contemplation. The tirth is very open and respecting of all people and ways of being and beliefs. I am Taoist and found this a perfect very healing and holy space for contemplation of the soul and being. If I could afford to spend a year there in silent meditation, I would do so in a heartbeat. It still might be possible so I am not ruling it out. Until then though I look forward to my next visit. I also highly recommend the yoga classes and found them very refreshing and a nice chance to gather and quietly focus our energies and bodies together with others. (For clarity: Ben R. The cows made me a vegetarian on my first visit (this is obviously a longer story, but my daughter likes to tell people that). I found a thread of myself there, a self I'd known and forgotten, a self that isn't a self because we are all one and everything is illusion (science), a foot back on my life path. Every time I return, I feel like I'm coming home. Try it out, you may find yourself there. You may find self love. You might just find a peaceful atmosphere and really yummy vegetarian food. If you take a course, you will learn something. If you do the work, you will grow. It's a safe place to just be you. No, it isn't perfect. You might have to find someone if you need something, but everyone is kind and wants to help. In all the many winter trips I've taken there, I've never been cold in the rooms. All the rooms I've stayed in have a self controlled pilot light heater and wall unit AC. I'm a well traveled, overly opinionated, neurodivergent, scientifically-minded woman, and I come back here again and again because there is no other place that gives me such peace, such hope, such momentum as Siddhayatan Tirth no matter how many minor annoyances I experience (I'm sooo easily irritated by silly things like having to ask for things or when things aren't as expected where schedule-wise or physically) haha...if I can relax, you've got a chance).
