I contacted four companies to get a rate, I requested removal and disposal of a six seat, sectional sofa and chaise, plus some bedroom furniture. Three out of the four companies rates were outrageous! But, these guys hands down, gave me the best deal. And, it was an all inclusive flat rate, unlike the other companies who gave a price range. In addition, Malik was so wonderful, that he agreed to do the pick up the following day, a Sunday! They promptly arrived, and without delay got to work taking the sectional apart. Then before I knew it, in approximately 35-40 minutes, they were all packed up and ready to go. I was super pleased with their courteous personalities, job performance, and no gimmicks, flat rate. Don't hesitate to try them out for yourselves. You won't be disappointed!

I was so impressed with the care they took in making sure not to scratch my floor or damage anything. Truly couldn't ask for a better experience for bulk or junk or scrap removal.

I made several calls and even had another company try to undercut their price, but I'm truly glad I chose The Moving Genie. For just a few dollars more, placing value over price, the peace of mind was absolutely worth it. I hired them to move my belongings from one storage unit to another, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. I had tremendous anxiety about the move, but they immediately put me at ease. They arrived on time and I was impressed with the size of the truck they showed up with--so much so that others in the storage facility seemed impressed as well. They were able to complete the move in under three hours. The team was clean, polite, considerate, and professional. They handled my items with care, paid close attention to detail, and had all the appropriate equipment to facilitate the move. Zero stress. Zero issues. Just an excellent move from start to finish. I'm extremely satisfied with my experience and would confidently recommend The Moving Genie to others without hesitation. They're officially locked in my phone for any future moves.

I also believed I reacted in a normal way to someone who kept insisting 10 boxes, when I had the proof clearly in the email they sent me I put 20. As I said in my review, I offered to help and pay more money on the spot. Any perception of me being "hostile" was me being eager to do whatever it took to get the job done, including help. How else would anyone else who was on a time crunch act? Just sit back and take the lies? We were all adults here. I offer for anyone reading this to contact anyone I know on yelp... including my employer of 4 years and my previous employer of 17 years. More importantly, since moving is such a high stress event and too many things can go wrong, I need a mover team who is very reliable and takes good care of my stuffs on the stressful day. Jerry and his team (3 people, father and son family business) did exactly that. Jerry is very responsive to my texts and calls prior to the move. My second move was interstates and I needed help moving from my apartment to a reserved Pods container. Jerry reminded me about things that I needed to prepare which was very helpful. On the day of move, they arrived on time and super efficient and quick. My building was very strict with movers paperwork and his team got approval without issues. I was very amazed by their packing/loading skills and speed, especially impressed by their ability to tightly pack my 2 bedrooms apartment (I have a good amount of stuffs) into a container with the consideration of interstates transport. I wouldn't be able to do it myself and I can tell they care about what they do. This is definitely money well spent. I highly recommend Jerry and his team to anyone who looks for movers.
