Ray is very well organized and his communication is fast, like within an hour or two of emailing him. Our wedding reception was indoors at the Tacoma Museum of Glass and he provided music for the dinner and reception along with dance lighting to make for a great ambiance. DJ Ray will ask you what songs you would like to hear and when. For instance, we provided him a list of songs that we wanted to hear at dinner and during the reception. We didn't have enough songs to fill the entire evening, so he filled in the gaps with plenty of songs that fit the genre and mood. He even was able to obtain our first dance song, which wasn't originally available on his list on his website. He is very good at reading the vibe in the room transitioning from one song to the next. He provided wireless mics for toasts and some MC services as we transitioned between dinner, speeches, and dancing. If you are looking for a DJ that can play the songs you want to hear, fill in the gaps with music that is appropriate for your evening, then I highly recommend DJ Ray. He was extremely easy to work with and very helpful in providing some tips for our wedding day. Very simple and straight forward. I will definitely keep DJ Ray in mind should I need DJ services again in the future.

Upon meeting with him, we were both impressed by his knowledge, experience, and how thorough he is. We ended up taking notes to things we hadn't even thought of (and I am so glad we did!). I felt so relieved that we found such a great DJ, and crossed fingers our wedding day would be just as good. // Fast forward to our wedding day // Not only is Dave punctual, but at no point in time did we have to remind him of anything, correct a song, or fix any mistakes [he made none]. Dave keeps things a little old school with his methods, but however he makes his music happen is fine with me, because our wedding went off without a hitch (seriously) and we have an awesome DJ to thank for that. Not a lot of people realize how important a DJ is to a wedding, but they are the hub of it all. They keep your schedule going, mood music flowing, and crowds engaged. I visited him frequently throughout the night to compliment his work and just chat with him. He gave me his full attention and still ran our music (which is so vital to us). We made sure to tip him well before the night was over as well, and with his incredible good rates, there is absolutely no reason not to! **Thank you DJ Dave for ensuring we had such a memorable wedding. Our friends have been complimenting us for weeks, and they all loved your work, your style, and your ability to socialize with anyone who came your way. I will recommend him to anyone and everyone!

If you are wedding planning; you want Tony on your team. My husband and I planned a Washington…read morewedding from Alaska during the COVID nightmare. Most of the communications with Tony was done via webcam since we weren't able to go back and forth to Washington. Tony was very responsive to everything and not only had plenty of ideas but he has the best ideas. If you pick him you unlock a world of possibilities for your ceremony and reception. Prior to having him I just thought I would pick a few songs, play the wedding quiz game and call it good. I was so wrong. Once I got to see his presentation ideas I knew we were in the best hands. There were multiple parts of our wedding that the guest had never seen before and moved them to tears, laughter and the best party opener after a year of masks and social distancing. He knows the right way to do everything in his lane and he pretty much becomes your day of coordinator, or their huge helper. He helped us with our floor plan and he always kept us informed on what was going to happen next. It felt like the wedding was a production. A Grammy winning production at that. The moment I realized we had made the best decision for our wedding by hiring Tony was as I was getting ready the day of. It was about three hours before the wedding and I was getting my hair done and just mentioned to my wedding party "Oh crap I hope Tony is able to set up and doesn't get lost or anything." My maid of honor said "umm... he's been here for a while and I am pretty sure he is all set up." He adds absolutely 0 stress the day of the wedding! Tony is very professional and his ultimate goal is to be there for you and your partner as well as keeping everyone involved and to have everyone leave at night saying "That DJ is my new best friend." I had so many comments after the weeding saying it was the best wedding they had been to. My Grandma and my friends are still commenting on how great Tony was. I can't say it enough: Pick Tony as your DJ and you will not regret it!

From the start, Tony took the time to understand our vision and our guests, helping us plan the perfect night. On the day of the wedding, Tony was professional, reliable, and absolutely nailed every detail. Everyone raved that it was the most fun dancing they'd ever experienced at a wedding. He kept everyone--from the young cousins to the older guests--on the dance floor all night, seamlessly blending timeless classics with modern hits and amazing remixes of both that kept everyone engaged, all while keeping our musical taste in mind. The energy never dipped once. He's by far the best wedding DJ we've ever experienced, and we wouldn't recommend anyone else to make your wedding an absolute blast. But Tony isn't just a DJ--he's an MC, and honestly, even part wedding planner. He came up with fantastic ideas to keep the evening flowing smoothly while still letting us stay in control of our creative vision. If you're deciding between a day-of coordinator or Tony, go with Tony. He handled every transition flawlessly--from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception--and his charismatic MC'ing elevated the entire vibe of the event. Everyone's vision is different, but after attending dozens of weddings and hearing from our guests, we've realized that if you're going to optimize one vendor, make it the DJ/MC. People may not remember the flowers or even the food, but they will remember the flow of the night, the energy, and the hours of music, dancing, and fun. From the bottom of our hearts--thank you, Tony, for making our wedding as fun, seamless, and memorable as possible!

From the very beginning, we had heard nothing but amazing things, so we already had high expectations going in, and somehow, they still managed to exceed every single one of them. From start to finish, their professionalism and preparation were unmatched. One thing that immediately stood out was how prepared they were for absolutely anything. We had unexpected wind during our ceremony, and they handled it so seamlessly that it never became a stressor for us. Having vendors who can adapt in real time like that made such a huge difference on such an important day. Once the reception started, they absolutely delivered. The energy they brought was incredible, they kept the entire night upbeat, got everyone excited, and somehow managed to keep the dance floor packed all night long. Now I barely got to eat anything at my reception, but I can tell you I was ushered from key moment to key moment by Kimani's well-paced, thoughtful timing. And after all the ceremony was done, I got to shake my tail feather with my friends until the very last minute. Kimani is incredible at reading the room and keeping the energy at 110%. Like any bride, I was worried that the energy would die down once people had dessert, but the party was alive and well for our entire time in the venue. And before the big day, Kimani took the time to speak with us about our preferences and music tastes in great detail. He asked questions and brought ideas to the table for key musical moments we hadn't considered. I am particularly grateful for the consideration he put into mixing our two processional songs. He walked us through the timing he anticipated for our wedding party size, and was able to set up his mixing equipment in the ceremony space so he could time the transition perfectly. As reported by our incredible wedding coordinator, Kimani was also incredible to work with on her end. I cannot recommend working with him enough.
