A great find in a very confusing marketplace. They worked on my twin Suzuki 140's. Turn around…read moretime was about two weeks (one engine needed about 15 hours of work). Kept me updated, located at a marina with a lift so I was able to boat there instead of having to drag the boat over with a trailer. Pricing was fair, they use authentic parts, warranty their work. They won't sell you on repairs you don't need or can put off. When contacting them, think doctor's office - busy, might take a day to get back to you - as they are often off-site. But good luck finding someone good who will turn your boat around in Miami in 1 or 2 days without costing you an arm and a leg.

I've used them to upgrade my audio equipment, upgrade the wiring/electronics on my two Mercury outboards and countless other repairs. They've been extremely patient with myself and my father, who isn't the easiest to work with. I've brought up repairs and they've flat out told me I didn't need them, even though they would have made more money by doing so (ended up being something else). Years later, my boat is still running strong and I can't help but to credit it to these guys. I even had issues once after a repair (because of my own dumb fault) and Johnny personally came to my house to check out the boat, which ended up being entirely user error. Fact is... boats are expensive and they'll always need repairs. At least with these guys you know you're only paying what you have to. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Power House Marina - Trashed our boat in their lot... after dropping a forklift on it.

I strongly suggest you improve your customer service and controls. I went to buy 2 parts and one of…read morethem was used. I recognize it is my fault for not reviewing the items and trusting the representative who did check the boxes before placing them in my bag. I went back within 24hrs and they denied it and did not exchange it...in a world when you can order everything online, do yourself a favor an order online. I lost $70, but Power House Marina has lost me and everyone in my network as a customers.

Went to Powerhouse Marina to paint the bottom of my boat. I have been busy at work, so decided to…read moreask them to change out 3 pumps that I needed changed on my boat (Fresh Water, Saltwater Washdown & Livewell). Came in on Monday morning at 9 a.m. The person working the front desk (Carlos) promised the boat would be done by Friday. He did not seem to know anything about service. I asked him how many hours they would charge me for to change out 3 pumps, he said we will take a look at it and call you with estimate ($155 / hour). Also I asked them to take a look at the trim tabs, as one was not working. So on Tuesday afternoon I came by to talk to David (the owner). He seemed very frustrated with me for coming by to check on progress and also indicated that he does not like when customers supply their own parts (I brought in 3 pumps that I already purchased as I was going to originally change them myself). He said - when I have time to look at the trim tabs - I will call you. Wednesday - no contact. I called before closing and spoke to Carlos and asked David to call me. He also said to me "David was annoyed with you coming by to check on progress". I did not really know how to respond to that and decided to come in person on Thursday morning to have a conversation. Thursday morning David is busy doing sea trials and fixing engines (apparently what he likes to do instead of working with customers). I explained all my concerns and told them I would be pulling the boat out Friday. On Friday they gave me back the boat. Livewell pump - stopped working by the time I got home. Bad electrical connection. Was fixed by me in 15 minutes with a new heat shrink connector. Saltwater washdown - the mechanic pulled off the old pump that was completely rusted. He did not even pick up any of the rusted metal laying on the floor of the bilge and just plopped the new pump in the place of the old one using ONE SCREW without a washer. So the pump was flopping up and down easily. Also they did not have a proper elbow connector, so they Jerry Rigged one together using CAULK (Picture attached). Also he mounted the wasdown pump right next to the wall so that I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO OPEN THE STRAINER on the pump to remove debris. This crappy job was re-done completly by me in 1.5 hours. Freshwater pump - not done at all. Total labor charge by Powerhouse for this - 4 HOURS. Summary - if you value your time, money and dignity - AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST. David is a lunatic (which is backed up by multiple other reviews) and his employees - don't trust them with your trash.
