I was impressed. I could not get my laptop complete loading to the log on screen which prompted my second visit. The harddrive was failing but they were able to recover some important data. The cloud backup had not recorded anything for the past 5 years so although I was glad I got some of that data, getting the recent data was very important to me. Although I struggled to find the recent data, they were finally able to steer me directly to it. I was SO RELIEVED. They replaced my hard drive with one with lesser capacity but still plenty large. I got all my data back and the new drive, and even though I had to follow up a couple more times to get to the data, the cost was most reasonable. I would recommend Lightning Repair highly. Also, the young men working there were all friendly and knowledgeable.

If you have computer problems do not waste your time taking it to the Geek Squad. You will just end up taking it to Kling's. With Kling's they know you by name not by a customer ID number. They will show you one-on-one attention and get straight to the issue to assure you get your computer back and running properly as soon as possible. They have worked on my computers for years and I have not had one issue.

Unique Tech is a one-man operation run by a nice guy called John that fixes whatever problems your computer has. He has worked on at least 4 of my family's PC's and laptops--primarily debugging them from assorted viruses. He also assisted me heroically on one occasion recovering my hard drive after my PC basically stopped working. I have always found John to be a competent and highly honest individual, and although his rates have gone up he is still way, way cheaper than the Geek Squads of this world. The reason that I won't give John 5 stars is basically that you have to track him down to get his services. Since he is a one man show, out solving the world's problems, he is almost never at his office next to the Crawfordsville train tracks. He doesn't give his cell number out to customers, which forces you to leave a voice mail, and then to come find him at his office when he is back there. When John is freed up, he will solve your problems effectively and quickly. When he is busy, you may need to wait a few days. If you know this, you make alternative plans when your computer is down, and you will be fine. He always solves the problem.

It's the little things... :) -It is cash only but there are several change machines in store that work beautifully. -clean! The machines themselves are cleaned and well-maintained, the floor (even in the winter) is free of lots of spills and debris. -There are staff on site to assist with change, and and other questions. - They offer free Wi-Fi with excellent signage to know the code. - Kroger is in the same parking lot, so a 29 minute wash cycle is perfect to run in and grab a couple of things. Pricing is $3 to wash for a 2-load size washing machine. This is about the same size as our home washing machine. They also offer drop off laundry services at about $1.50 per pound. This is significantly cheaper than tide cleaners, which charges close to $2.75 a pound.
