I found TBL on Yelp (as one does) and decided to give it a try because it's close to home. Appointments are required, so I made one about two weeks out for a Sunday morning. It's in secluded area, with a nice big parking lot. The shop is clean and modern and very bright. Everyone here is super nice. Rae did my son's hair and she did a great job (next time I'm gonna ask for a little more off the back because that boy's cowlick is INSANE). He was super happy with the cut and so was I. It's definitely pricier than what we usually pay, but her attention to detail and overall patience with him was worth it. My onlyyy irritation was that we were running on a super time crunch that day and we booked our appointment for 10 as it says appointments were required. Rae let me know when we got there that she was running a little behind and didn't even start cutting my son's hair til 10:30. Eeeek. For all I know the situation could've been out of her hands (maybe her previous client was late, I don't know) so I was gracious about it, but I wish I would've gotten a text or something so I wasn't sitting there with my antsy five year old for half an hour before he was seen. One appointment was at 11 and the other at 1130 with 2 different barbers because thats what booksy allowed. My sister gets there right before their appointment. Only to find out that the 11am barber is not there. My sister is told he would be there at 1115 because thats what time he says the appointment is for but he arrives at 1130. The appointment was in fact for 11am as i sent a screen. He gets there but doesnt take my son. He takes someone else. My son gets in the chair at 1230ish. He's already over the whole thing. Whole time the barber for the 1130 kid is done after 45 mins and willing to take the first kid. The other barber insists on cutting my sons hair so my sister gives him another chance. When I say this man was playing in my sons hair Im not kidding. Nearly 2 hours later and my sister has already asked him to stop cutting his hair as she can see that my son is over the whole thing. But he refuses to stop. I called my sister and tell her to tell the barber to leave my son alone at this point. My son is 5 and he turns to the barber and says something along the lines of "this is the last time you cut my hair". Because why are you taking so long to cut hair? Meanwhile the first barber is apologizing to my sister for his coworker. Of course my sister pays for the half done crooked hair cut because he did provide a service that was horrible. Yes, i would recommend the business because I cannot base it off of ONE horrible barber. But I would not recommend booking with Sha Ron. Very unprofessional, rude and pays more attention to the music he wants to play and the calls that are coming through on his phone than cutting hair. If you prefer to not cut a kids hair then please just say that and take it off of your provided services. Thank you to Josh for doing a fantastic job on my sons first hair cut and keeping him entertained through that 3hr ordeal. Also, i appreciate you for offering to fix my sons hair.
