We rented a digital piano from Pro AV Rentals for our wedding, and Erik made the whole process a breeze. He replied right away to every question and helped us pick exactly what we needed. The piano looked brand new, sounded great, and showed up right on time. On top of that, the price was better than anywhere else we checked. Couldn't have asked for an easier experience--highly recommend Erik and Pro AV Rentals, and we'll definitely use them again. read more

Rented a stage and sound from these guys a few times. Great spot. Never had an issue. read more

Pro AV Rentals - Stage rental with pipe and drape with black drapes. - Audio/Visual Equipment Rental Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I have rented speakers from here twice before for house parties, and always had a great experience. Their packages are reasonably priced , and equipment quality is excellent and easy to assemble. I do recommend getting a taxi or renting a car for pickup and drop-off though, as delivery costs $100 (more than the speaker package, depending on which one you get). read more

Had a BBQ party in my backyard, so I needed speakers. Had my friends DJ the party, and they recommended what apparently was an unnecessarily large sounds system. LOL. When I called to place the order, this place did not just take the order i asked for, but instead, asked questions to determine what i needed. Talk about saving me some cash. I would have spent $185 more if I would have gone with what I initially ordered. Needless to say, the speakers I got worked perfectly and the party was awesome! That guy Chris really knows his stuff. read more

We had a few speaker rentals from this company and couldn't be more than happy in using them. We host art gallery events and talks throughout NYC, and they always have the best equipment. I've also used them recently for stage rentals, and was just as satisfied. Do yourself a favor, and just use these guys, they have everything! read more

I was looking around for lights to rent for my wedding since my DJ didnt have light equipment. I yelped around and found this place. I emailed them and got a response right away. I looked a their website and choose my pakage and called them so they can explain what each entitle they were so helpfulll! We signed the contract, the day before the wedding we went to pick the stuff up and realized the equipment wouldn't fit in the car and we didnt have someone to pick the stuff up with a big enough truck. They accommodated* a drop off and pick up after the wedding that same night. And texted my DJS to tell them theyre outside. They even explained to them how to set it up and put it down. Their customer service is amazing! Thank You! read more

Unprofessional, no customer service, poor communication. We used them for an event in LA and they didnt bring all the equipment needed after being thoroughly planned via email. They had a ton of excuses. They had cable problems during the event. Sloppy breakdown. All together the equipment quality and quality of customer service were lacking. Talked to the owner personally and he was rude now wont answer my calls or emails. read more

I was referred to Pro AV by my colleagues at Soul Summit Music in Brooklyn. I have used Pro AV twice and both times have been hands down the best experience I have ever had. Prices were extremely reasonable. Customer service was excellent! Equipment functioned flawlessly! I won't use anyone else for my AV rental needs. Thank you Pro AV for being an example of what great service looks like in these days of poor quality! djkwab underground revival productions read more

This place is great and is my go-to spot for all things A/V. They're prices can't be beat and since they're in the BK, there's no shipping time/costs to deal with. Each time I ordered online and received the product ready to roll on time from their warehouse. One time they were actually out of stock on an item I ordered, so they upgraded me to a larger system at no charge. Gotta love that. Def check these guys out if you need a system! The only reason I docked a star is because the location is tough to find and I always think no one is there (even though they've always been there lol). read more

It was my first time ordering speakers from a company for an event for 300+ people. I was unsure of what to order and what I would need to make it all work. I looked at this website online, found the system that I thought would work best and called to make the reservation. It was very easy and Justin was very helpful with my long list of questions. He knew which cables I would need and was very good at explaining the process. For an extra fee they delivered the speakers, which was well worth the small fee. It would have taken me more time and money to rent a car and go pick it up (and most likely get lost) than it took for them to deliver. The speakers, amp and mic arrived just a few minutes late, but I feel like that is to be expected. He explained the setup and I went ahead and hooked it all up. He was available to me via email and cell phone so I was able to contact him with a few more of my questions. He was very patient and did a great job explaining the setup process. When it came time to clean-up, the rep was right on time to pick up the speakers. The speakers worked great and were perfect for my needs. I will definitely use their speakers again for future events. If Justin is an indication of how the rest of their company runs, I would recommend DJ Gear and Speaker rental to anybody. read more

I needed lights for a wedding I was djing at so I googled what was around me. I came across Pro AV Rentals and decided to give them a try. I ended up working with Justin via phone and email a week before the event and the rental went smooth. I plan on using them again in near future. Cheers! read more

Insanely great. Placed an order online late at night. Guys called me early the next morning to let me know the one I'd ordered actually wasn't available, but walked me through other solutions. Super knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Greenpoint is so far from Manhattan tho.....!!! read more

Experience was seamless. We lost connection and they immediately got back to me, dealt with my situation, gave me a good price and sent me on my way. Dope experience. read more

I rented AV equipment for a high profile dinner with celebrity chefs and also hired a tech for the evening. Sound quality was abysmal as was the tech's presentation and skills. My client was furious, understandably so. When I went back to PRO AV, all they did was equivocate, prevaricate and blame me for what were their failings. I would never use this company again and would caution other consumers to be very careful. read more

Pro AV Source is the worst rental company I have ever worked with and I am an event planner. They were scheduled to pickup the stage on Friday between 10-2pm. I called every hour afterwards and they continuously reassured me that the pickup guys were 10 minutes away. It is now Monday and the stage is still sitting in the middle of the office. They said the stage would be picked up today between 10-2pm. It is now 2pm and the stage is still here. I am literally on the phone with them now and they are saying the pickup guys are one hour away. This is the worst business management, customer service and dysfunctional operation I have ever seen. I will never use this company and would never recommend to anyone in the industry. read more

I needed a red aisle runner for my daughter's wedding. I didn't want to purchase one b/c what would I do with it afterwards? I found ProAV Rentals on Yelp.com and sent them an email. Within a few hours I was hooked up for a two day rental! Because of a misunderstanding with my pick-up time, they delivered th runner for me the next day to the chapel. It was a perfect fit and in great condition! Justin was very patient with the emails going back and forth and all went well, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone! read more

Ran into a snag when my DJ cancelled on me last minute for my party. Called these guys up in a panic for speakers that worked with an iPod and within 5 minutes, had my order placed, and I was able to pick up 30 mins later. PLUS everything worked GREAT! Great customer service (something I always look for, even though it wasn't really my main focus today). They even showed me how to set it up! Thanks for saving my party!!! read more
