I did my research on collision shops near me after a minor accident I had. After visiting a few shops and reading reviews, I decided to go with Pro Auto Collision. I went on a Monday (7/22/19) and they told me to drop off my car the following Monday since they already had a few cars. I was estimated between 5 to 7 business days. After dropping off my car on Monday (7/29/19), I went in the following Tuesday (8/06/2019) to check the progress on my vehicle. It seemed the damage was a bit more than expected so I was given an estimate for another 2 weeks tops. They had to replace the bumper reinforcement bar, trunk, rear bumper, and repaint thosd. Moving to the third week. They called me 24 days after the initial drop off (8/22/19) to let me know my car was ready. I went in to look at my car before dropping off my rental. The trunk looked good and it opened and closed with ease. However, the paint on the bumper didn't look as good. I brought it to their attention and they agreed that the paint wasn't right. Rich called me the next day (8/23/19) and apologized to me. He said he will try to have my car ready the next morning which was a Saturday and would give me a call to let me know whether it will be ready or not. I canceled my plans for the morning, expecting to get my car back. I didn't even receive a courtesy call to inform me that it won't be ready. After calling the shop with no answer I decided to go in and see what was going on. Nobody was there and I was very disappointed. I called them back on Monday morning (8/26/19) and asked for the status. I was told it would be ready for pick up in the afternoon. When I arrived I inspected the bumper and was impressed by their work. Overall I would rate my experience a 3 out of 5 due to lack of communication and not getting the job done correctly the first time. I was also disappointed that this process took a total of 28 days. I felt that it took a lot longer than it should have. Despite these issues, I am happy with the outcome but will look elsewhere if I am ever in need of a collision shop. read more

My car had some seemingly minor damage to the rear bumper that I needed to get fixed. Insurance's initial estimate was that the damage was going to be under my deductible but I took my car to 3 shops to get a better idea of what the real damage was. I immediately got a good feeling of the professionalism, kindness, and work ethic when I walked into Pro Auto Collision. Dee Dee greeted me with a sincere smile and then helped me through some minor paperwork to get me signed in. Then, her son Richie came out and did a check over of my car. He gently popped the plastic shell/body piece open (after asking if it was okay to do so) and showed me how, underneath the plastic body panel, there was actual significant damage to the metal frame of my car. The repair was going to easily cost $2K or more once the frame was replaced. I sincerely appreciated him going the extra mile to get me a more accurate estimate before things got started. I ended up dropping off my car to them a few weeks later for repair (due to my schedule) and I couldn't be happier with the way they handled everything from start to finish. They were very responsive and great at communication during the repair process. They were always extremely pleasant to work with and they never made me feel like "just another customer or job". They delivered exceptional work and my car looks 100% brand new again. Also, they repaired it quickly. Last month a malicious employee at my company ripped off my passenger side mirrior out of spite. I called a few places based off of yelp but they werent as helpful. Rich right away explained there may be several mirrors but was willing to order my part right then and there and I jist needed to take my car to see if it was the correct one. I went the following day and it just so happened tje part got there right before. The dad (i think) offered to screw on the mirror and keep tje part that needed painting, and i could return the following day or so to put it on completely. I was super ecstatic since I had been driving around with a universal mirror DUCT TAPED to my car. veryy embarrassing! I went in to have the final painted part placed, i literally drove up and they came out to snap it on in minutes! They were very good with pricing and the customer service makes u feel so welcoming. Multi-generational family owned business that really knows their stuff. First car I took there was a hit and run on my wife's car. I picked them based on exceptional reviews and, being in the auto industry myself, I could tell they knew their business when I spoke with them on the phone (I asked very specific questions). When I went in to drop off the car I saw the exceptional quality of their work and I was sold for sure. The results did Not disappoint. Just a few months later I was rear ended and I didn't even bother looking elsewhere (despite the insurance company urging me to). Glad I didn't because they did another outstanding repair... and they dealt with both insurance companies a lot for me for months since the other party that was at fault had some of the worst insurance ever to deal with (ahem mercury) thankfully my insurance stepped in and handled it all and went after those clowns... but that's another review altogether. Needless to say, these guys did great work and were great to work with under the unfortunate circumstances both times I needed a body shop. We've had a bit of bad luck with our cars. Our Nissan Altima was backed into by a SUV and had the front bumper scrunched. After some investigation I found this place. Rich and his staff were very helpful and kept me in the loop on progress. Repair work was excellent. When I was involved in an accident at the end of last year (just before Christmas), I again took my Lexus RX400h here to get the back end fixed after being side swiped by someone coming off the freeway and losing control of their truck to the point the spun out and hit me. Again - top notch work. Finally - the Lexus was stolen and involved in an accident. The car was towed by the police and my insurance company took it to another facility to do the estimate. Since in California you have the right to choose who does the repair work, I again took the car to Pro Auto. Unfortunately - the initial inspection missed several key pieces (such as the fact that there was a hole through the tire well into the cab of the vehicle). Pro Auto worked with the insurance company on getting a new inspection which later resulted in the car being totaled. Rich and his team (it's a family business) are great people. While I hope to not have to use their services again, if I ever do, this is the place that I would take my car(s). read more

I brought my Mercedes in because my daughter washed my car and tried to get spots out with the brillo part of the sponge. This left circular marks in various places on the car. Couldn't afford a new paint job for sure. Years prior someone hit my car in a parking lot. My insurance sent me to Pro Auto. So I talked to Rich and explained I brought my car here before. Told him about the brillo pad marks on the car. He looked at it and said " I can get it back to about 95%". So I dropped the car off a few weeks later and couldn't believe the workmanship on my car. It was at 100% and his dad even applied wax to my car. A few weeks later I was back again because my daughter wreaked her car. Once again great customer service. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Very friendly and professional! We took our truck there to get our running board fixed. We found Pro Auto Collision online and decided to give them a try. The customer service displayed from the moment we called was incredible! When we called, the owners wife answered the phone and asked us if we were ok. We then met the owners son and he was nothing short of professional and very friendly. We had to come back the next day so that the owner could look at the repair and he fixed it in 20 minutes, a job that other collision shops were going to charge us over $2500.00 to repair.
