He has apparently sold his practice to Dr. Jessica Weber. (Her name is now on the door.) Anyhow, Jenny the lovely receptionist is still there. She greeted me with a hug. I got an appointment the same day, and only had to leave work an hour early. Dr. Weber is great. She took some X-rays to make sure the tooth was OK before referring me to an endodontist that I had seen before. We talked about another tooth I had cracked (but, ignored). She glued my crown back on, and I returned two days later for a much needed cleaning. I don't know why I waited so long. Time just escaped me. I'll miss Dr. Barnett, but l am happy he trusted the care of his patients to Dr. Weber's care.

We were also impressed that Dr. Maarouf had a helper for the entire cleaning. During my visit, Dr. Maarouf noticed one of my fillings was compromised. Yesterday, she repaired the filling. She was going to numb the area, but I talked it through with her and advised doing the filling without any numbing. Worked out great. I appreciated her demeanor and willingness to accommodate me. Only minor discomfort for a very short period of time.
