Every aspect of my visit to the dentist's office was fantastic! Very busy office that seemed well organized and efficient. I especially liked my dentist Dr. Ashley! Young and enthusiastic! Very knowledgeable and showed me pictures of everything that was wrong with my poor mouth. The dental hygienist Parisa did an excellent job cleaning my teeth as well. I got a full "plan" for taking care of the issues. And I think the price out-of-pocket with my Delta dental insurance is quite reasonable! This is an all around great practice. They were great before now ownership and they continue to be great. The front desk management is cheerful and efficient. The hygienists have always been good at their job and very thorough. Dr Ashley and Dr Ben seem really good and educate the patient without shaming. Having your teeth cleaned isn't fun so it's important to me that they make it as pleasant as possible! I am one of those people who has high level of anxiety going to the dentist, and why I have not been in quite some time. My husband and I were in search for a new dentist close to home and an unfortunate dental emergency for my husband brought us to Ashley & Benjamin Koppel DDS (Pristine Dentistry). They were able to see my husband right away. From the moment we stepped in their offices we were welcomed with very helpful, kind staff. Dr. Ashely saw my husband and not only walked through their finding with my husband, but with myself his wife. We were referred to an oral surgeon for my husbands emergent dental issues who too was absolutely amazing! (That's another review I need to submit). I went for my first cleaning in several years and received amazing care by all staff from the front desk, to all the support staff that took my images, did my cleaning, doctor Benjamin Koppel who thoroughly explain their findings and recommended treatment plan. Today I went in for first part of that treatment to take care of a cavity and a cracked tooth. I had high anxiety going in but they made me feel so very comfortable. Talked me through every step of what they were doing. It didn't even hurt getting numbed up which I was pleasantly surprised by. I did not feel not one bit of discomfort the entire time they worked on me. Their equipment and current dental technology is quite impressive, not what I remembered from the historic dental days. They were able to build my crown in office and fit it all in one shot. I left there pretty amazed at how painless and pleasant that experience was. My husband and I both can't speak more highly of Dr. Ashley & Benjamin Koppel and their amazing staff. If you are in search of a dentist, we HIGHLY recommend this dental practice. We feel so fortunate to have found them and for the absolutely amazing care we both received. I never thought I would actually be excited about going to the dentist but now have to say am just that! I look forward to getting the additional dental treatment I need and no longer am afraid to go in to get my cleanings which I will now make sure to do at least twice a year. I've been a patient of the previous owner of this practice for over 30 years. The previous Dentist, Dan, did an amazing job and never pushed anything that his patients were not comfortable with. He was not someone who would jump the gun on fillings or other dental work. They would always let me know before they started cleaning that they recommend getting x-rays every other appointment. I would generally wait to every appointment for health reasons. I'm not wanting the radiation as of often as they wanted to do it. My last visit they did not ask if I wanted the x-rays as I had them on my last visit. They just started the process after that they tell me I needed multiple crowns and multiple fillings redone. The total estimated cost was just under $8000. I was very confused as, six months ago I was in great shape with a few fillings just being watched. I was taken by surprise by how much work they claimed I needed. After the dentist left, I heard her go to the next room and tell them they needed a crown as well. Said to me after the dentist left that they are great place to get crowns because they have the machine to make the crown while you wait, it would be at two. The previous owner did not have that tool or capability to make crowns on the spot. I felt they were trying to push getting this work done since they have new piece of equipment. I ended up getting a second opinion that a different dentist that my family has been going to. They ended up suggesting 1 crown and two fillings should be redone as they would have easy access when doing the crown. Total for the work being done was just shy of $2000. The other thing that I was not a fan of , being a business owner, was they had a spin wheel with prizes that you could spin if you gave them a review. That just lets me know that the majority of these five star reviews were purchased by giving a small prize or token. I know that everybody runs their business differently, but unfortunately after 32 years at being with the same practice, I felt it was time to move on. read more
