Advantage was the most responsive and had the best price for a basic service call. Communication was excellent. Initial contact was by phone and I had to leave a message. Received a response by text quickly and that was how we answered questions and set up the appointment (I really like working this way!). I also received email confirmation and reminders of the appointment by text and email. Service technician arrived within scheduled time and included a text to let me know he was on the way. He inspected everything, cleaned thoroughly, and replaced the lava rocks. He tested electricity output, carbon monoxide levels, and checked for gas leaks. He determined that dirt and time was the culprit and no other repairs were needed. I was very impressed by the company and the service technician. And my fireplace is now working beautifully!

I bought a large wood-burning stove from Nashville Fireplace. They installed it incorrectly; the…read moremanufacturer told me if I used it, it would be a fire hazard. Nashville Fireplace said it was fine the way it was and that the manufacturer was wrong. After six months and many calls/emails, they finally came out to move the stove. When they did, the installers accidentally put two holes in my ceiling. They told me they'd have them fixed. They didn't. It took me nearly two years to get them to send someone out. (And the whole time, the service manager was rude about it.) When they finally did come out to fix the holes, they didn't match the paint properly, and when I told them they needed to put my ceiling back the way they found it, they told me it was my fault, and they wouldn't do anything more. The owner said he didn't want to spend any more money. Well, I will never spend another dime at Nashville Fireplace. Terrible attitude. Terrible service. Shoddy work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The issue was as simple as replacing the battery for the box. Neither one of us had the correct batteries - he took it upon himself to go to the closest gas station to purchase the batteries. He may have been gone 10mins - came back, replaced the batteries and the bonus was the great conversation that came with it.
