Since my girl and I had a less-than-pleasant experience at the new Prison Pub, we needed to see how this bar compared. First impression was that the vibe was pretty chill. The bartender was very friendly with a very welcoming smile on her face. She was very attentive to all the customers and was constantly moving around and socializing with everyone, which was not what we could say about the bar across the street. Overall we met some very nice people and all had a blast. We closed the night here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you for making a great first impression to your neighbors in Ripon.

It was delicious. Now for the star of the night I got the garlic stuffed fillet. When I say it was outstanding, that is an understatement. The steak was perfectly done, and the Demi glaze was indescribable. The beefy flavor with a splash of burgundy (totally guessing) was incredible. The scallops were lightly crispy on the outside and done to perfection on the inside. Again not one complaint. We also had an amazing server, Quentin, very professional, knowledgeable, and a dash of carisma. A fabulous birthday dinner. Thank you Dave and Theo's 24 for making it a great night! About a year ago, I wrote a very critical review because, in my opinion, the restaurant had fallen far below the standard that made it a Green Lake favorite. That review has since been removed because it no longer reflects today's experience. With new ownership, strong leadership, and a renewed focus on quality and service, Norton's has made an impressive comeback. If you had a disappointing experience over the past year or so, I encourage you to give it another try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
