Since my girl and I had a less-than-pleasant experience at the new Prison Pub, we needed to see how this bar compared. First impression was that the vibe was pretty chill. The bartender was very friendly with a very welcoming smile on her face. She was very attentive to all the customers and was constantly moving around and socializing with everyone, which was not what we could say about the bar across the street. Overall we met some very nice people and all had a blast. We closed the night here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you for making a great first impression to your neighbors in Ripon.

You won't run into Peter here, but you'll meet other delightful people -- locals and vacationers. Most of the time, it's closed, but on the rare occasion that you find this building open (usually a weekend evening during warmer weather), it's a bit of a delight. Owned and operated by the people who run Twin Shores next door, this little building has a tiny, crowded bar with one table, and several outdoor tables. The drinks here are the same as the drinks at Twin Shores. It's a perfect spot for an after dinner drink when you want to sit outside and breathe in the fresh lake air on a warm summer night.

I took a mouthful and agreed that it did not taste like any clam chowder I had ever eaten before. It was flavorless and bland. Between the two of us we may have eaten one of the 2 pork chops. I even tried to scrape the top of the pork chop off to reduce the salt but it did not work. On the plus we got there around 5 on a Friday evening and were able to get a table right away. Our waitress looked sad and like she was just going through the motions but she was adequate in refilling my husbands soda and getting our meal to us right away.
