Meagan Rennie does my hair and I'm very happy with it every single time! I had had a lady in my area burn my hair to a crisp and couldn't go back to her. My daughter and granddaughter go to Maegan and recommended her to me. Now, Maegan is about 1 1/2 hours away from me, but she is worth it. I have not color treated my hair in over 10 years but I've been wanting to try something new for a change. Amy Lau did a phenomenal job today! I came in and met her for the first time, trying to explain what I wanted and the rest was all up to her. No more crunchy dry ends. She added the perfect layers to frame my face. The caramel bayalage brought dimension and depth to my hair. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable in the chair. You can tell she cares about the look she's creating for you. Did not feel rushed at all. The salon itself was busy on a Sat morning. Clients and stylists had high energy. There's a cute little section to shop for boutique clothes and accessories. I've only ever gone to Amy and she's never let me down! She's not forceful with the conversing yet she also doesn't make you feel ignored. For those looking to get a perm, I'll give you that review. I recommend getting Gina just because she's awesome and funny. She really takes her time and tries to get to know you. She listens to what you want as well and gives her input on if it's a good choice for you or if she can do it at all which was really nice. Given, I've only had my hair permed for a couple days but I love it. She did such a great job with my hair. It's full of volume and that means I won't have to wash my hair more than necessary. I love my hair. In the picture I attached, I hadn't washed it since Friday because it is recommended to not wash it for 48-72 hours, but it still looks voluminous and great and doesn't look dirty at all! read more

I originally started to go to Pricilla's 2 years ago. LOVED my original stylist! My hair was so good 3 of my friends followed me to Amanda D. She has since left. We were all filtered to Jen. I have been super tolerant of things since switching stylists but will not anymore. Rude receptionist have gotten a bit ruder and messing up appointments (in the past I thought ehhh... Who cares if my hair is good) Salon has become a bit dirty in the past 1/2 year. My breaking point of this salon is that Jen and her assistant over book. The last two appointments they worked simultaneously on me. The first of the two appointments they each blow dried one half of my head at the same time!!! I have never seen this in my life! I felt man handled. Imagine 2 people tugging at your hair at once! (Not a zen time at the salon). The next appointment each took half of my head to color. I don't have super thick or long hair. I really do not think that 2 people should work on one head at the same time it's just NOT relaxing. Me and my 3 friends are no longer satisfied. I know 3 of us will be leaving. read more

I used to go to Parks Salon way back in the day all because Amy L. worked there. Since then, Amy moved over to Priscilla's Salon and naturally I followed her here. I go to her for highlights as she does great coloring! In the end, I've always left happy and felt justified with the bill. I definitely recommend trying her out, she's super easy to work with and very down to earth.For cuts, I go to Darren, who is also great! The salon itself is always clean and usually filled with the chatter of all the clientele and staff. It's a little bit unfair that I have to rate the whole Salon, when my bad experience was just due to a particular stylist, Teri. I went to her because the scheduling system chose her for my appointment (I usually go with Sam who is great but she was unavailable). I completely trsuted that whoever would do my hair would be as great as Sam. Where do I even begin. I went just for a blowout, just to get my hair smooth. It was so uncomfortable, painful and unbereable. I had to listen the stylist complain about my hair: "you have so much hair", "your hair tangles so much", "I don't know your hair and it's driving me crazy", "agh, I didn't know your hair was going to be so long.." etc. The blowdry went on for 45 mins (it takes me about 25), and it got painful to where my scalp was getting burned, and the brushing was so careless.... But the worst was the complaining, definitely. This is a place that it's supposed to be upscale, where one should be relaxed and taken care of.... but why would I want to go see a stylist who cannot handle to do hair? It blows my mind to hear a hair stylist complain about hair...outloud.... Instead of making sure she gained a new client, she made sure I wil never ever ever book with her. I had to leave before she finished. I couldn't take it anymore, it was so annoying and borderline offensive. I hope Sam comes back soon. read more

It seems like a nice facility and the receptionists were friendly enough. Additionally, this haircut was paid for by some close friends of mine and I'm so very grateful for how generous they are. However, this is the absolute worst haircut I've ever had in my life. It looks nothing like the pictures I showed, and on top of that, it's far shorter on one side than the other, making it impossible to style. The stylist turned the chair away from the mirror so I couldn't tell what was happening, and by the time she turned me around, it was too late, and my hair was cut nearly to the scalp. Most importantly, if you have even remotely ethnic hair, DO NOT go here. These women have no idea what to do with it and they'll destroy it like they did mine. Furthermore, the stylist was very condescending and stereotypical about ethnic hair differences. I'm glad I didn't pay for this cut, or I would have demanded my money back. I have been going to Samantha Singer at Priscilla's Salon for the last 8 years! She is so very patient and expirienced with my hair. She was the only person I trusted when chopping my hair off to donnate. With her skills she transformed my newly very short hair to cute, fun, and flirty! I enjoyed her personal touch of style so much that I have been back 3 times in the last 8 years to have the same transformation. But for my normal hair trim appointments Sam has been so accomodating with short notice requests. All the staff at the front desk is polite and friendly. Sam also has done my makeup on many occations. I expirience the magic of airbrush makeup and how wonderful and beautiful makeup can look without being too 'cakey'. Paulina was amazing, but with her leaving I had to go to someone else. I scheduled an appointment with Victoria, who had done my hair once before. She texted me the night before and confirmed my appointment. When I went in she said "oh I thought you were another person" told me she didn't have time to take me and sent me on my way. Not to mention she said "if I take you now my next client will be really mad at me." Well thank you for letting me know that person is far more important. Seriously!! I waited 2 months for this appointment, and that's what I received. Called 4 different times to speak to the owner and have yet to receive a call back. I can't believe that they treat people this way. Victoria later called me, only because I called first asking to speak to the owner, she said sorry there was nothing I could do for you, I would be upset too. We loved the hair trial that my fiancé did on February 9th. Less than 6 weeks before our wedding, about a month after, we get a text that Amy will not come to our place to do her hair before the wedding because only my fiancé was getting her hair done. We made sure that they said they would do this prior to paying for a hair trial. We've already got photography and videography scheduled to come to our house and they drop this bomb on us and add even more stress to our wedding plans. Would not recommend this place for anything that you plan for as they will lie and change their minds after you give them your money. read more

Don't take a chance here!! It's not worth the risk! My regular stylist retired. So, I had my hair done by Gina who came highly recommended. I thought she would be experienced and professionally trained. I honestly expected a great outcome. What I actually got was horrible! THE WORST CUT EVER! I requested long layers with face framing bangs and fringe. Just a refresh of my current cut. By the time she was done, I lost 6-7 inches in length overall and it was lopsided!!! About 4-5 inches difference from one side to the other. And uneven all around! Even worse, she cut the fringe to about 2 inches! ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC! Then she tried to pass it off as "baby hair" that I've never had! I don't think a student learning to cut would have botched it this bad. After a ton of tears, deep regret, and 5-6 years, and many "evening it out" cuts, my hair is finally in even layers, and at normal bang and fringe lengths, but still overall shorter. My current stylists, still can't believe that this so called "high end" salon, that charged me double what I currently pay, did this to me! What a NIGHTMARE!! Ugh! read more

I've been going here since they opened at this location, and actually I've been a loyal customer of Gina and Joey for almost 10 years... SCARY! I first met Gina when she did my hair for senior prom (Valencia Class of 01) and she was my go to gal for everything. Then one time she was a little booked so I made an appointment with Joey. Now when I go I'm torn! Gina is great at updo's and highlights, she really knows how to get your hair how you want it. With Joey, for me, since I've been going to him for so long he knows what my hair can and can't do and won't sugar coat it. Lately when I go see him I just tell him where I'm at with my hair and say do your thing. Even when it comes to color, he's usually got some new technique he wants to try out so I like to be the guinea pig. I've never had bad experience, everyone is really nice. I have had several incredible experiences at Priscilla's over the past several years!!! One of my most notable was a much needed hair cut for my cousins wedding which I looked amazing for thanks to the great staff and stylist there. The boutique is another awesome feature about the salon, since my wife and daughter are able to shop while they wait for me to get my regular services done. Our daughter was able to find the perfect jewelry to accent her dress while getting her hair done for her HS prom last year and my wife found a beautiful and classy swimsuit for a recent holiday vacation. I keep asking the very helpful receptionist when the boutique will carry men's items so that I can find something as cool as the girls always do. So I am more than thrilled to share my comments about a local business that I believe deserves accolades for an outstanding job of continuing to provide a quality service at every level of their operation!! read more

Very disappointed! Had scheduled a consultation with stylist Daisy at 6pm today and arrived on time. As soon as I entered the salon, I noticed that there was nobody at the front desk so I decided to patiently wait in the front waiting area until someone arrived. Well, nobody arrived. In fact, despite the fact that there were maybe 5 employees spread throughout the salon (many of whom saw me sitting there), nobody even acknowledged my presence or gave me the opportunity to ask about my appointment. Waited for 30 min in total before I decided to leave and return to my husband who was caring for our 2 yr old and 2 week old so that I could make the appointment!
