I am super disappointed with this nail shop. I sat down on Friday evening to get my nails done with a technician who did not know what she was doing. She was shaking and struggling to even put my tips on for my acrylic full set. She place one of my tips on crooked and I told her and she tried to pull it off with her fingers. I snatched my hand back and told her she could not pull it off like that. She then proceeded to file it off to replace it. She was barely putting enough glue to make the tips stay on. Once she started to apply the acrylic powder she had so many holes and it was totally lumpy and thin. She finished one hand and it was terrible, she then tried to start my next hand and I asked her was she going to fix this hand first? She was confused and asked did I want it thicker? I told her no I wanted her to make the acrylic smooth and even. I then asked for the manager so I could get somone to do my nails that actually knew what they were doing. The manager came and tried to say she wasn't finished yet. I told her I am a licensed Cosmetologist and this lady clearly does not know what she is doing. She switched me to a new technician so he could finish my nails. I still thanked the other lady, I just could'nt pay $85 for nails that looked like trash. The new technician finished my other hand and tried to fix the hand the first technician messed up. I ended up getting decent nails with a beautiful design and I was actually happy even though it started off rocky. Well less than 24hrs on Saturday my first nail broke, Then Sunday my 2nd nail broke, and finally on Monday my 3rd nail broke. They all broke in the same place, where the tip was. Like I said earlier the lady was struggling gluing my tips on. So I went to the Salon on Tuesday when I got back in town, the manager wasn't there, so I came back on Wednesday. She told me they would take all my nails off and re-do them because we were worried the rest would start breaking at the tip. So I made an appointment for Thursday. Well when I get there Thursday the technician refused to do my nails, saying that they was scared that it would happen again. I asked the manager why would you tell me they would do it over and now refusing to fix their mistakes. She offered me a refund, but now I am extremely upset. I changed my plans to have my nails done. Now it's 4th of July weekend my nails are messed up and now I have to pay extra for someone to take my nails off just to get them done over. I will never come back to this establishment, I should have trusted the other reviews and not waste my time, money, and energy here. My mom and I visited this salon for the first time after seeing the strong ratings and multiple reviews highlighting how clean and sanitary it is. Clean, properly sanitized nail equipment is extremely important to us, which is one of the main reasons we chose this salon. We arrived right on time for our appointment, but the salon was completely packed and running behind. We ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes for chairs to open up, which wasn't a major issue. What was disappointing, however, was the lack of customer service. The owner/manager was very unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. There was no greeting or friendliness--just being told where to stand and later where to go when chairs became available. My mom received a manicure (by the owner/manager) and pedicure by another technician; and both services felt extremely rushed. While I appreciate efficiency and don't need a long appointment or chit chat, there is a difference between being efficient and rushing through a service. Her manicure seemed to be completed in just a few minutes, and the pedicure was also very quick. Several things had to be pointed out because they were either missed or not done properly. During the pedicure, the technician was scrubbing my mom's foot very aggressively. When my mom flinched because it was uncomfortable, the technician responded by saying something along the lines of, "Oh, you hurt everywhere," and simply stopped instead of adjusting her pressure or being gentler. My mom also didn't receive the leg massage that appeared to be included with other clients' pedicures; and had to ask for it. I then had my manicure done by the owner/manager. Unfortunately, it felt just as rushed. One of my nails was filed noticeably crooked, several nails were left sharp around the edges, and I had to ask multiple times for corrections. To her credit, she did make the requested fixes, but the interaction was cold and lacked any sense of customer care. What surprised me most was that the cleanliness and sanitation that were praised in so many reviews did not match what we observed. The same buffer and nail file appeared to be used on multiple clients. I actually had to specifically request a new buffer for my service. For a salon that receives recognition for cleanliness, this was very concerning and disappointing. Overall, the impression we got was that the salon was overbooked and focused on moving clients through as quickly as possible to accommodate the next appointments. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. The worst we ever had. Between the rushed services, lack of friendliness, quality issues, and concerns about sanitation practices, we left feeling very let down. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. read more

Two things run true for me when choosing a nail studio. One, cleanliness and two friendliness. Yes, promptness and quality are important as well. However, sanitation and feeling welcome is what resonates with me most. I have been coming here since Summer 2024. Holli and Emma have always worked with me. However, I have come to know many other nail specialists at the shop and I would use any of them. Lately I have been changing things up regularly with my nails and Emma and Holli are very creative. I do enjoy the full spa manicure and pedicure option. My current life cycle demands pampering :) What I can tell you is I have gone to at least a dozen different nail spas over the years and if I move on to another spa it is more than likely due to the cleanliness & friendliness factor. Forever Nails has plenty of parking. They take all forms of payments and have been very easy to get a hold of to make appointments. Worst pedicure I've ever had! My wife surprised me to get a pedicure done here because it looks nice, first the person that got me was completely untrained! Shady Practices at Salon I've been going to Forever Nail Salon for about a year now. In the beginning, everything was fine. I started with gel nails, then "upgraded" to powder, and at one point was even told to switch to bio gel because it's supposedly healthier for the nail enamel. I trusted their recommendations and kept going back. But over the last several visits, things started to feel really shady. I was paying $50 for powder, which I understood. But then I realized I was being charged that same full price every single time, no matter what. Fine. But one visit, I asked to go back to regular gel nails, and they still tried to charge me $50 because they had to remove the powder from the previous set. Um...what?! That's part of the service. That's literally your job. Despite that, I kept going back because they're conveniently close to my home. Then I started noticing random extra charges being added without any communication. One time, I was charged an extra $5 for a "strengthening top coat," even though I was already getting powder. Another time, I was charged an additional $5 because I chose three nail colors instead of two. The manicurist told me if it were two colors, there'd be no charge, but three colors meant extra. I told her that's something you need to communicate upfront, not at the end when I'm paying. Every visit after that left me more frustrated and annoyed with their lack of transparency. And mind you, I always tipped well. Typically $10, and sometimes $12-$15 for one person. That's about 25-30%. I was a loyal, consistent, and generous customer. My most recent visit was the final straw. The pedicurist filed down my toenails and cut them so short that when I got home, I realized she had completely removed the acrylic on both of my big toes, acrylic that the owner had done just a few weeks prior. So I went back to have the acrylic fixed on just the two big toes. The owner said she'd take care of me, but instead, she had a different person work on me. I had literally just gotten my toes done that Monday, and this new pedicurist started removing all the polish from every toe. I stopped her and asked why she was doing that when only the big toes needed fixing. She gave me some excuse about needing to file them, etc. It made no sense, and I honestly felt bad because the previous pedicurist had actually done a pretty good job aside from removing the acrylic. Then came the bill. I was expecting to pay $10... and suddenly it's $15. At that point, I was furious inside. Time and time again, it's always some extra $5 here and there with questionable explanations. I asked why, and the owner said it was because they had to do "brand new acrylic." I reminded her they had just done it a few weeks ago. Her response? A fill is $10, but this was considered a new set for $15. I never asked for the acrylic to be removed in the first place. That was done on their own. I didn't want to cause a scene, so I paid and even tipped (even though I absolutely did not want to). But that was it for me. I will never go back to this salon again. That's the consequence of taking advantage of a loyal customer who consistently tipped well. Shame on you the first time, Shame on me for continuing to go back after the repeated issues. I'm honestly surprised they operate this way, especially since they seem busy. You'd think they wouldn't risk losing customers over petty, sneaky charges, but they do. If you're going here or considering it, speak up. Ask about pricing upfront. If they start doing something extra without explaining, stop them and ask immediately. No one should be hit with surprise charges at the end. As a business, they should be transparent about their pricing. Period. read more

I went in hoping to have my nails done and relax, but it turned into a painful and stressful experience. I was having trouble explaining the shape I wanted for my nails, and my nail tech was rude and impatient. While that was happening, my pedicure tech cut my pinky toe with the callus remover. She did clean it right away and tried to stop the bleeding, but she continued the service afterward. My toe has been sensitive and still bleeds when it rubs against anything, and I'm now worried about infection. My manicure wasn't any better. The tech was rough with my hands, caused my thumb to bleed, and didn't acknowledge it or clean the area--he just kept going. He also left polish all over my skin and didn't bother to fix it. What made it worse is that, after being cut twice, no one apologized or offered any kind of discount or compensation. I was charged the full amount for an unsafe and painful experience. I will not be returning. This is unacceptable, and I hope management takes this seriously so no one else goes through the same thing. I walked away being charged $140. My recommendation to everyone who chooses this salon is to pay via credit card. (They do not accept AMEX or Discover.) That way if you recieve faulty service, you can place a claim with your credit card and recieve your money back. This salon accepts Venmo payment, but DO NOT make the same mistake I did. Came here last Friday with one of my girlfriends. She's been going through a lot lately with her mother-in-law's terminal cancer, her husband's health issues, and the challenges of being a busy mom. I'm also a busy mom, so we decided to spend the afternoon shopping and getting pampered with manicures and pedicures. I've been to Forever Nails a few times before and decided to come back because my past visits were fine. They seated us quickly for pedicures, but unfortunately placed us on opposite sides of the room, which made it hard to enjoy our time together. I prefer to keep my nails short since I ride horses and coach soccer. When I explained that, the nail tech still kept suggesting I get long nails and made a few unnecessary comments about my cuticles. It made me feel a little uncomfortable. Meanwhile, the lady doing my pedicure kept trying to upsell gel polish and callus removal, even after I politely declined multiple times. I understand that businesses are trying to make extra sales, but when you're there to relax, it's frustrating to feel constant pressure to spend more money. My friend got very similar treatment. I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived, which defeated the whole purpose of coming in. I have been a customer at this nail salon for over a year. However, this past visit was horrible. I set up an appointment for my husband and myself. We purchased two spa pedicures. The nail techs rushed through the service and were done in about 15 minutes. They did not even complete the service that we paid for. The service comes with Orange scrub, lotion and hot towel. Both nail techs skipped the hot towels on my husband and myself. I asked the nail tech why she didn't do the hot towels and she said it was because she already put lotion on. Then as I was waiting for my nails to dry as I did not have gel polish a bald man whom I believe is the owner as well told me to move out of the chair. I explained to him I was waiting for my polish to dry. He told me they were fine. The truth was this salon kept taking walk ins and was packed and I had an appointment for our services. My service as long as my husband service was rushed and not properly done due to taking in walk-ins. Let alone when we got home I noticed my toes nails were not cut properly some were rounded and some were crooked. My husband's feet still had callous's on them because she didn't scrub his feet. The staff were rude and it really changed my decision on ever going back to this salon. The energy is very negative there. read more

I had plans to visit friends in the area. Since I needed a mani-pedi for a trip, they recommended Forever Nails & Spa to avoid going out of my way to my usual salon. Their Yelp reviews looked good overall, so I made my appointment for a Spa Manicure-Pedicure. When I arrived, it seemed that the woman in charge couldn't find my appointment and started to yell in Vietnamese. A girl then came from the back, looked at me and said, "chair 4". A couple minutes later, another girl came out for my manicure. No one introduced themselves or offered a nail color chart. I saw a small basket with a few, so I grabbed a couple on top. I let them know that I wanted a solid color for my toes and French tip for my fingers. Both tried to upsell me to gel nails to which I nicely said, "no thank you". Then I was asked if I wanted callous removal -- I don't have callouses -- again, "no thank you". They then asked if I wanted to pay ahead of time to avoid ruining the polish. I've never had that asked before but went ahead with it. My spa mani-pedi was finished in just under 20 minutes, then was told to wait 5-10 minutes to let my nails dry and they left. I thought someone would come back to remove the tissue they stuck in between my toes. Fifteen minutes later, I realized (by the smell of food coming from the back room) that most of the staff was eating lunch, so I took the wads out myself and walked out. The woman in charge didn't even look up. At closer look when I got home, the poor job on my nails was disappointing. Cuticle grooming was quite minimal. Although the pedicure was ok, edges were clumpy and nail polish smudges were left around most of my toenails. The French tip manicure was uneven. At my usual salon (NailFix), about 30 minutes is spent on a manicure or pedicure. And that's after I'm nicely greeted and offered several nail palettes/charts. They also spend time in the details -- unrushed massage, meticulous cuticle grooming, cleaning under each nail, even nail color application, taking a small brush with acetone to clean off any polish smudges around each nail and removing the foam (not torn tissue wads) separators from my toes. Needless to say, I won't be back. NOTE: After posting pictures for this review, I received a call from Tessy, the owner/manager. She was nice and very apologetic for the poor experience. She offered to redo my mani-pedi for free that evening. But I was already home and was busy packing. She then said to message her when I got back to schedule the free services and asked that I take down the pictures. I did that but kept this review in draft. I reached out to Tessy when I returned from my trip. She didn't seem to remember me, which was ok since I'm sure she handles a lot of customers. She graciously accommodated an appointment for the free mani-pedi she promised. However, later I received an email from Yelp reminding me that "Writing, editing, or taking down a review in exchange for anything of value is a violation of Yelp's policies". I was not aware of this and found the timing strangely coincidental. I contacted Tessy again to let her know. I thanked her for her efforts (added an extra star for that) and cancelled my appointment. read more
